I absolutely ADORE this place! They have amazing sandwiches and soups (I usually get the townhouse turkey lunch combo with their soup of the day....yum!). The ingredients are always fresh. Be sure to get there early for lunch because the place fills up fast. It is quite small, but the atmosphere is darling. It is attached to a bookstore so if you have to wait, you can shop.

I have been a regular at this restaurant for more than five years. . I have yet to have anything but the best lunch I can describe. Food is home cooked. The ingredients are all fresh and the entrees made to order. They also have wonderful outdoor seating in the spring and summer. Its also located within walking distance of the Fox River Trail for walking and biking. prepared

There is no such thing as a bad meal here. The quiches...the soups....the desserts.....the salads....theyre all phenomenal. Service is always terrific and while you might have to wait before you get seated....you get to wait in a book store! Come on; how great is that?!!! Town House Cafe is a St. Charles jewel not to be missed.

My work orders takeout from here quite a bit. This was my first time eating from this place. It was excellent. I ordered the grilled cheese. I loved the veggie chips. Everyone told me I need to go to the actual place too because its really cute. I cant wait to go. I will say that my sandwich was a little heavy on the onions.

Service was okay and despite the hummus sandwich having hummus and olives and all sorts of ingredients that should give you a punch of flavor, the Sandwich was flavorless. Chips are not fresh, theyre out from a bag so its not a big deal. Got the red wine sangria and that was good. It was okay overall.

My favorite new place. I have lived in the area for 15 years and never knew it was even there. Had a wonderful lunch with the best soup and quiche. I liked it so much we went for breakfast and I was hooked. The granola was so good that I cant stop thinking about it.

The small hummus place is delicious and so filling, and the ginger peach tea was so comforting. Seriously the hummus and the toast it came with absolutely made my day. Highly recommend for a bite for lunch, and then browse the bookstore connected to it!

Fresh food at reasonable prices and steps from shopping in St. Charles. Food is delicious and great deserts. Atmosphere is smart but not pretentious. Small drink menu but enough to pair the food. Wait staff know their business and are very friendly.

If youre in the area and want a great Cafe meal or espresso drink, this is the place to go. Very cute dining area and wonderful service. If you need to wait for a table, stroll through the attached book store.

Excellent soup du jour. (Tomato Sage Garlic) Dining outside is very nicely calming. The bog draw for me was the attached book store. The world needs more bookstore/cafe combinations.
