I ordered soup, french toast, scrambled eggs, and corned beef hash; the soup was ok but the bowl/portion was tiny; FT was heavy, doughy, and raw, so much so that I had only a couple of bites after I had to wait 5 minutes and ask for syrup - ??; the CBH was a tiny portion and had barely any potatoes plus they were diced ridiculously tiny; the eggs were like one jumbo egg or 2 small eggs - also a very tiny portion. All of this plus poor service and... wait for it... the bill came to $24! I was shocked as this was/is a total rip-off. A slap right across the face. This was the worst dining experience Ive ever had. Shouldve gone anywhere else. A couple of gas station hot dogs would have been better. What a joke.

The host/hostesses are quite rude. This particular day, the hostess took the two couples who came in after my friend and I, sat them down. Then proceeded to go and hide in the kitchen before we were ever sat down. 10 minutes later she comes out looks at us, ask us if we have been seated. Said no, but we have been waiting for about 15 minutes. She rolled her eyes. Pointed to where we should sit then hid again.... This is a recurring thing for this place. Crystal Lake Colonial Cafe & Ice Cream is much more Pleasant in every way.

Not one of my favorite places to visit. The food is mediocre. The other day I had a meat lovers breakfast skillet and it was overcooked and bland. It was also lacking on the ingredients that typically come in the skillet. The service was ok. It could have been better. I did appreciate the manager stopped by to ask us if we needed anything else. I would rather walk across the street to Burnt Toast and be 100% happy with my meal.

For my first time this place was good, BUT i had ordered a coffee and my coffee mug had a lipstick stain on it. Gross. And not just that, i heard that you get a small sample of ice cream in the end,so why did we get skipped? Also the waitress that we had said "you guys look like your in a hurry, so ill just give you your check now", and didnt bother to bring the ice cream. Smh.

First time there for my wife and myself...very warm and inviting atmosphere, reasonably priced. Our server Besa was extremely friendly and personable - would DEFINITELY ask for her again. Food was delicious - both had the ultimate skillet...highly recommended. Been around since 1905, can see why theyre still around. Check them out!

Impeccable customer service across all Colonial Cafes, and truly delicious food that reminds me of home! If youre a breakfast lover like me, then Id recommend the cinnamon bun french toast breakfast. It will be the best cinnamon bun french toast youve ever had! And Im used to down town breakfast joints. Love this place.

Customer service is best described as passive-aggressive. We were "greeted at the door with a smile", as noted on a white board behind the counter. And then left to stand there for 25 minutes. There was a distinct flavor of hostility in the air. They staff got what they wanted. We left and will never go back.

Its a place you bring your kids and have a great time and not worry about white table cloth linens. The burgers are great, Rubens, patty melts, and its reasonable prices. Do I even need to describe their deserts?

Food was cold. Country omelette was not cooked enough. Turkey sausage was the worst Ive ever had. Coffee was very bitter. We had a party of four and we all agreed we wont be back.

Great place to take the kids for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very big menu. Most of the food is good and the pricing is very reasonable. Great ice cream desserts.
