Terrible service. I pre-order by phone to dine-in. I got there and it took them 13 minutes to ask me what I wanted or at least bring a menu. A white little girl (waitress) saw me 3 times and she just passed by. All these time my food was on a different table getting cold. They finally ask and I told them that I pre-order, they brought my food and it took them 5 more minutes to bring my water. I ask for more water and they never brought me anything, they took my glass and never come back. I ask on the phone for extra sause and they didnt put extra sause, I ask her again (at the restaurant) for extra sause and she said that they didnt have anymore. I understand that sometimes customers has to wait for their food, but they werent even busy. Im sorry but Im not coming back to this place. I want to think that they are just incompetent, otherwise I would think that they are racist. And all of this right in front of carloss eyes.

This restaurant used to offer great customer service but lately it has failed. I order for delivery and the person that deliver the food said that it wasnt a good time to order for delivery because they were very busy and she demanded to keep the change as her tip. We also didnt get any napkins or hot sauces for our food items. Recently I called to place an order for delivery only 5 minutes away from their location and the person on the phone said that they couldnt do a delivery order if the order wasnt over $20.00 dollars. I had always order from there before and we never were made aware of that policy. That person preferred to lose a customer then making a delivery that was only 5 minutes away. I really hope that they work on providing better customer service because they do have a great food but their customer service is very poor.

Carlos, the owner, is really nice. The food is cooked by many who know there way around the kitchen. All food there is marvolous, and just full out spectacular. The restaurant enhances your Mexican meal by added Mexican themed tables, pictures, and a Mexico vibe. Not only the does Carlos River Cafe offer stander Mexican dishes, such as tacos and burritos, but also serves specials, such as fried ice cream and more! There is a menu for kids, allowing them to have whatever they want. The cooks are great at modifying meals for whatever you want. With all that the restaurant and workers put into the meal, Id give it 5 stars and say everyone should go there.

Easily the best tacos I have ever had. Everything(including the free chips and homemade salsa) is so fresh and tastes way better then anything you have bought from the store. Also its only slightly more expensive then taco bell but 100 times better. Ive been here with my family over a dozen times in the past year. Staff was very friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed. High reccomended.

My wife and I have been coming here for awhile. We love the food! The atmosphere is clean and nice. The service is hit and miss. If not for that, five stars. Once the waitress forgot to put in our order along. Carlos came over and apologized. Told us our dinner was free. We said it wasnt a big deal and we didnt mind paying. He refused to give us a bill. They even have live music some weekend nights.

This is a tiny little place, but dont let the looks fool you! They have the best Mexican Food ever. The owners are very nice, and they are not over-priced. They have excellent enchiladas ( the verdes sauce is delicious ) , and their homemade guac is great too. Hands down one of the best places imo. I dont eat meat anymore but they have great veggie fajitas too. Love love love this place.

Probably the best and most authentic Mexican food you can get anywhere around here. Always made fresh right in front of you, even the chips are fried fresh while your meal cooks. The guacamole and the salsa are to die for. I have tried everything on the menu, and everything is absolutely awesome. Love this place and will never go anywhere but Carlos.

Was there today with a friend for an early lunch. I ordered a king steak burrito. (Carlos was not there , It was a different guy cooking.) When I got my burrito it was VERY SMALL and burnt, had nothing in it but lettuce with a very small amount of steak. No onion, no beans, no rice, no sour cream and no cheese. $7 ? No good with out Carlos !!!!!!!!!°

Great place to eat and their food is spectacular. Best burritos and tacos Ive ever had. Ive been eating here for years and the food is made fresh and right and front of you. It is a family friendly place you can eat there or take it to go. Love this place and oh the staff there are GREAT!!!! Cant say enough good things about this place.

We have been getting food here for a few months now and every time the service seems to get worse. Today my fiance went to get us 2 burritos. When I went to get mine I realized it was much smaller than usual and when I took a few bites there was a huge piece of plastic! I will not be going here anymore nor will I be recommending it.

This is the first place we found when we moved here 10 years ago. Great food prepared fresh. The menu provides lots of choices, food is well prepared, the prices are very reasonable and the owner is very friendly. It is so good our son had them cater his wedding (which was fantastic). Go and you will not regret it.

I was there on Wednesday 5/18/16 and was made to wait for 26 minutes for 2 orders of chips and guacamole to go. About 15 minutes I asked how long still? I was told one moment three times. When I demanded my money back at the 26th minute, it took them less than a minute to prepare it and gave it to me.

Definitely a winner. Outstanding, authentic Mexican food. Reasonably priced, quick service, and quality ingredients. Seems largely owner-operated and has the love and attention that usually comes along with that. This is on my favorites list as my de facto Mexican joint.

The service here definitely does not describe five star restaurant within any city limit or upper-class area, however this is the type of place that would make you leave those areas to get here and enjoy the kind of food that they have. amazing.

Carlos is awesome! Great food at a great price, the service is excellent as well. They make you feel like a neighbor and are happy to see you each time you come in. Carlos is our "go to" for Mexican fare.
