First few times here, the food was great, the service okay, and it had decent ambiance. Fast forward 6 months, and the food quality had really dropped (specifically on their sushi rolls), their service was terrible (3 hours to get all of our food, except for the one roll that they forgot), and their customer service was sub par (there was nothing more than an apology, and they removed the cost of that one roll, but nothing else for the terrible service). Not to mention that they had lighting problems in half the restaurant that lasted for 15 minutes that were quite annoying (lights flicking there going out to make the room very dark). Hopefully this was a one time thing, but with as many good Asian/Japanese options that are within Orland Park, as well as the south suburbs, I would just choose one of the others. The only pros at this point were that it still has nice ambiance, and their Black Pepper Beef was still good. Beware of their fire dragon roll and their Boston roll (just go to Mizu, North on La Grange, not even 10 minutes away, for much better sushi and service).

My wife and I had a horrible experience tonight. We came in an hour before closing. We werent welcomed for a couple minutes and it was slow. Knowing they closed at 9, we knew to order quickly...which we did. I ordered a beer and my wife a pop. We had to ask for the drinks twice. I ordered a beef dish and added mushrooms. When it came out, no mushrooms were added in the dish. No worries, we just left it alone. About 15 minutes prior to them closing, we were handed the bill. Not even a minute later, the waitress comes over and tells us we need to pay now. We do. We still a had a few minutes before closing and were rushed out the door. We were so frustrated with the level of service we received, we just took a box to go and put the three bites that were left on the plate and left. We did not feel welcomed at all from the minute we entered and felt our business wasnt worth anything to them. The food was decent but also overpriced. We will not be returning.

Ate here last night. Hadnt been here since February. I was disappointed in the food and service. We had a real dingbat waitress! I ordered shrimp and vegetable tempura that tasted like it was cooked in oil that was very old second I had the Mango Tango roll that I swear was pre-made and refrigerated for a very long time. It was cold and stale tasting like that crappy sushi you can buy at Walmart. My friend ordered Hot n Sour soup that was tasteless and the Dancing Eel Roll that was also probably refrigerated earlier in the day. We had a Sapporo and a Prosecco and the damn bill was $70.00!!!!! I dont see myself eating here anymore - too bad after five years seeing a place turn crappy. I know good sushi....been thriving on it for 40 years. The 2 stars is because the music they played was very good.

Me and my boyfriend used to love Yucca. The food always tasted very good. However, the low rating comes because he recently got diagnosed with Celiacs Disease. They were very uninformed regarding allergians, dietarian restrictions, and what is in their food. When specifically asked if a piece of eel could come with without the sauce (sometimes contains gluten), they said okay, yet it arrived with the sauce. Overall, at this day and age, any restaurant should be completely informed in this regard. If you do not have a dietary restriction, definitely come to Yucca. If you do though, I would go somewhere else.

Terrible just came in for the lunch special and was seated then told the lunch special will take 45 mins to an hour to come in and that the regular Chinese food will come in faster. Fine. ( reason why they do this is because they rather have you order more from the menu then the lunch special to make more money) As where ordered my son accidentally spilled water then was told to have him not do it again?!?! Worst experience by far I never encountered any type of treatment from waiter ever never again will I come! Lost a really good customer with a big family and friends

The all you can eat is an excellent option, especially if you have several people so you can try lots of different things. Rolls, signature rolls, an assorted sashimi appetizer, other appetizers, and dim sum dishes are included on the special AYCE menu. They have quite a few signature rolls that distinguish them from most places that just offer run of the mill normal rolls on their AYCE. Am excellent value at 21.99 - one of the rolls i ordered would have been 14.00 all by itself. Fresh, delicious, and well worth it. Excellent service as well.

I had dinner there the second time last night, and everything was again perfect. After celebrating my anniversary there last January, it was nice to not have to think about where to go for my wifes birthday in March, we love this place. If ever a Orland area restaurant deserved to be packed it is this one, though both times we have gone, it was near empty. Beautiful decor, excellent food, quite under priced, and the nicest staff I could have hoped for. This place is amazing!

No way this is great sushi. It has a stale taste to it. Ive been eating sushi for over 2 decades and I know my sushi, but that aside anyone would taste the staleness in this fish. I paid 80 dollars for 4 rolls and 12 pieces of sashimi and I will never go back. Yucca, you must serve fresh fish! If its not, toss it!!! Besides if you dont serve fresh Wasabi dont even serve sushi. Bottom line is I would not recommend to a friend.

So fresh and affordable. I use to go to saki bob in Oak forest but their chef went back to Japan and i am overjoyed that I found Yucca as a replacement. The salmon avocado Is simple and satisfying. And i also love the soporro roll. My boyfriend doesnt eat sushi so he got the chicken fried rice. It was a HUGE portion and really tasty. I am going back for the second time this week.

The first time we went, the food was okay..you get what you paid for. We went back a few weeks later for carry out and the experience was horrible. In our rolls we found plastic pieces, the ones that are used to attach tags to clothing, and we found hair. When i called, they didnt seem to thinknthat either of those things were and issue. There is no way we are going back.

OK sushi. Ive had much better. They were running specials, which is nice, and the place is clean. The service staff is friendly. But there is nothing in particular to recommend it. We had spicy tuna roll, hamachi, salmon roll, and avo+asparagus+cuc roll. They have elaborate rolls, but Im more of a simple nigiri with great quality fish guy.

Had a great time, I loved the food and the atmosphere. Stayed for about an hour, had appetizers, main course, and dessert. They have an all you can eat sushi but be prepared to pay if you dont finish it. We had wine as well the server was very nice, great family feel. Id come here again.
