Upon arriving at Redstone American Grill this evening for dinner it was apparent that the restaurant was closed. The sign on the door indicated that they were closed due to "Day without Immigrants". Why is a restaurant whose primary goal is to provide a service to the community, a community which is located in the United States of America, which serves American citizens, closed in support of immigrants? When did it become the responsibility of a restaurant to shove their political beliefs down the throats of their customers? When did it become the mission of the restaurant to protect the rights of the immigrants who by the way have no rights when they come here illegally at the expense of the beliefs and rights of the American citizen, their customers. The United States of America fully supports immigrants who come here legally and pursue the American dream when done lawfully. When did it become acceptable for Immigrants who come into this country and expect to be given everything, a home, health insurance, a cell phone, food, money, etc. because they want it and at the expense of hard working citizens, veterans, lower income families, the homeless, our police, and the list goes on. We really liked this restaurant and visited often, but after this, we will never walk into this restaurant again, perhaps the American citizens whom this restaurant depends upon will serve them a dose of their own beliefs and their sales will reflect accordingly. The irony if this restaurant loses business and fails as a result of their shoving their beliefs down the throats of their customers ultimately putting all their "immigrants" out of work. Karma....

Food was delicious accept bake potatoes have to be be cooked when we get home. Buffalo Shrimp, cornbread and prime rib was life... Go get some. However, what threw me for a loop was how dirty I mean filthy the ladies washroom was it was disgusting the doors are broken it really did match with the outside of the restaurant and then the tacky part of it was when the waitress came back to my mother and said that for future references and Im calling her its 20%in gratuity oh my God that was so tacky and you dont even know what we were planning to give you that was really really rude and you really shouldnt dictate what someone gives you in a tip its up to the person you dont even know sometimes people come out to eat and they only have the money to eat with they dont have a big 20% tip but last time I checked I thought it was 13% up to 20% and did you really do 20% of service I dont know that was just tacky and I hate it even better restaurants but this is one of our favorites and tonight was just kind of odd and the host she needs to smile I dont know if her name was Eva or Evelyn or whatever shes walking through the place mean Mugging. come on now, but I will go back because they have good food they just need to cook the potatoes longer, clean their washrooms and teach their service workers manners- professionalism and whatever is required!

Went there for the first time with another couple on a Friday night. The place was full, but not crazy-busy. We had 7:00 reservations and were seated right away. Then, we didnt see anyone who worked there for 20 minutes. At last, our server came to ask about drinks. Our bottle of wine came reasonably soon, but the glass of wine ordered by one of our friends did not appear literally for 35 minutes - and after a reminder. (There probably wouldve been more than one reminder, but we only saw our server once during that whole stretch.) When she did appear, she explained simply that "the bar is really backed up". Really? For a glass of white wine? We were relatively laid-back customers, but our server clearly took a disliking to one of our friends, and came across as abrasive whenever she asked for something. The food was fine, but generally uninspired, and overpriced for what we ordered (burgers). Definitely not a return destination; it was actually one of the most frustrating dining experiences weve had in years.

Intimate, warm setting and packed on a cold, February Friday night. This was my wifes and my first visit. Waiter was friendly enough but marginally attentive (in his defense, they were busy). We started with the seared Ahi tuna, which was good but not great. I had a blackened Ribeye and my wife had the crab cakes (served with French fries--gee, dont get so fancy, please!). Portions were generous, but the taste was less than we expected given the price. Despite being wood-fire grilled, my steak was lacking in flavor. The waiter said it would come with asparagus, but I received green beans instead that were overly salted. My wife thought her crab meat might be from a can. We hope it wasnt, but something was missing that made the crab cakes average at best. Maybe we need to try other menu items, but for a $100+ tab for 2 people, were more likely to try somewhere else.

My Experience at Redstone Grill wasnt a good one. My nine girlfriends and myself attended this Restaurant together for the first time. First of all it took forever to get our food and then once it came the orders were all wrong. The Waitress was Rude like she couldnt Tolerate us telling her what she did wrong. Then we ask for the Manager and she came out being rude like the Waitress. It seem like neither one of them had any patients on dealing with issues. I just want to tell them they are in the wrong Profession because whether or not you like the party thats seated at your restaurant you should treat them with the upmost respect. I feel that me and my friends were treated improperly and we will never visit this Restaurant again!!!! The Chicken Noodle Soup was good though!!!!

What is it with young hosts/ hostesses? First time dining at Redstone, go on Saturday about 5 pm. The place is at 25% occupancy and they take us to a small table right by the kitchen entrance and chicken rotisserie. Now there were an over abundance of nice booths in the main dining areas so why would you tuck us away in the back in the corner. Told the server who was gracious enough but we were never asked if we would like a different table. Food was very good but it should be for 2 people spending $60 each. Sorry but if an establishment fails to recognize its own faults by treating customers to a table in no mans land when they are clearly not busy then they dont deserve our business. Train your people to be more customer oriented.

Food wise, it was pretty good. We started with the shrimp and calamari appetizer. It came somewhat quickly after we ordered it. The problem is that our entrees came within 5 minutes of receiving the appetizer. We had to choose to either eat the apps and let the entree get cold or not eat the appetizer. Any good waitress knows that should never happen. We very rarely seen the waitress after that. Every request took 20 minutes.....ice water, napkins, the bill. It seems like they rushed to get our food out and then were ignored. It took so long, we ended up missing the movie we were gonna go see afterward. While the food was decent, it wasnt good enough to ever want to come back because of terrible service.
