Best Mexican food around. Weve had people join us from as far as California when visiting, join us for dinner. Best Chicken Quesadilla around! Best Mexican Shrimp Cocktail! Best FLAN around, homemade, and topped with an awesome Butterscotch Carmel with a cherry on top! Service is always great, food is fantastic, atmosphere is calm. Staff is friendly and accommodating and owner/manager is very nice. Makes everyone feel welcome, plus he loves our English Mastiffs and even has come out to see them. Dessert choices are limited and price for desserts are a bit more than average, but worth every penny! Please visit to help keep local businesses viable to our Aurora community alive and thriving.

Oh my.. If you want real authentic food. This is it.. You must try the enchiladas and a pina colada.. Theyre salsa and chips are made freshly everyday.. Very authentic and you will not be disappointed... Average about $10 a plate worth it.. Very calm atmosphere not too big and staff very friendly.. My family been going here over 25 years.. They are family oparated also.. The owner is an very respectful man and has seen our son grow from a new born to a grown man and always surprise and welcoming when were there..Thank you.. The best..

I commute 35 miles from the city to Aurora. Our home area is 97% Mexican, so we eat a lot of Mexican food (in home and out). We have our favorite restaurants. At work in Aurora, however, Ive not explored a lot of Mexican restaurants. Work is often just a quick trip to Subway. But Im glad when I have a chance to sit down and try a place. This restaurant was really satisfying. The owner has done things right. The food is really good. After trying them a few times, Ill continue to be a frequent customer.

Dining at La Cabana is always a joy. More than likely you will be greeted as you enter by the owner who always has some friendly words for you. The service is always impeccable, while the food is delicious and served in generous portions. The ambiance is of an intimate nature. The front windows overlook the Fox River, unfortunately preceded by a fairly busy street. About the only thing missing in here are semi private booths. This surely is my favorite Mexican restaurant.

Service was excellent, presentation of food was nice, the food was not!! Bland, tasteless rice & beans from a can taste better. Both meat dishes tasted the same, my husband ordered the House Carne Asada & I ordered Barbacoa. We still arent sure what kind of meat we ate...ps.. .salsa from Aldis is way better We could not eat the whole meal we left 1/3 on the plate. No flavor, no seasonings tasteless food.

Complete jerks. Wrong daily specials and I was lied to by mgmt and server. sever blamed chef. Called and mgmt never called back. They do not have specials oranzied. They lie to you. Unorganized place. Dropped food. Careless. Wrong specials. They were clowns working this day. Just a Terrible experience with family. Rude. Rude. Dirty bathrooms. Dropped plates.

Super expensive, tasteless food, small portions. I ordered a large Beef broth (Caldo de res) it had only three dry, small tasteless pieces of beef, the flavor was bad. I also ordered carnitas tacos... greasy soggy tortillas, as if the tortillas were deepen in sauce and grease the day before, tortillas coming apart and cold lard flavor. Not recommended.

Our first visit was with our office group. We were served, Salmon, Steak, Sausage-fish-Crab, Salad, fresh bread, Desserts. We knew we would be coming back. We have enjoyed a variety of dishes and there has not been a disappointment at all. This is one of our favorite spots and every year of Office enjoys their Spring/Fling at Hugos.

Wonderful from the minute I entered till the minute I left. Friendly staff greets you with awesome chips and salsa and proceeds to take your drink order right away and bring you good cold pop. Then they bring more chips and salsa and the menu. The food is reasonably priced. They have some awesome Mexican food. HIGHLY recommend.

Jakes is centrally located on a main artery in the city of Aurora across the street from the train station. They have a number of delicious breakfast and lunch bagelwich items on the menu including 3 or 4 different tasty soups. You wont be disappointed when you stop in for a visit.

If you like good Mexican food there are plenty of better choices in the area. Im not a fan but if you like Taco Bell just go their instead. If you dont like Taco Bell I would still say go their instead.

The tacos are elegant(apparently it is a secret recipe) and the iced tea is nice and sweet. It is a nice quiet environment with a great view of the fox river
