My son and I wanted to try something different than Aris, Apple Villa, and Harners. So we drove over to this place. The restaurant is clean and well laid out. The staff was friendly and the service was good. Unfortunately we ordered the biscuits and gravy. Something Harners and Aris Kitchen do amazingly well, and kind of the dish I judge breakfast places on. The meal came out quickly, but I could tell right away something was amiss. The biscuits were all perfectly uniform in size. And after the first bite I knew I was eating something on par with a frozen meal. The biscuits were cold under the gravy. Literally cold. Not room temperature. They were really dense, and were likely bought in bulk from a food service company already baked. The gravy had no chunks of sausage, and although it was edible, it also seemed like something they bought in bulk somewhere else. The price was low, but when the food is of poor quality its not a comfort that it was low cost. If you are going to sell biscuits and gravy, bake fresh biscuits and make real sausage gravy.

One of the few places that can follow directions you request for your food. Normally I ask for over medium, its either hard or barely cooked. Double yoke in aurora nailed it! Also toast lightly done = perfect, bacon soft not crispy = perfect. My only complaint is biscuits and gravy, it was cold, hard dense crumbly biscuits, seeming like some Ive tried from the store that were frozen. The gravy was also very generic like stuff that comes in a can. I took two bites and that was all I could stand of that cold fake excuse for B&G. For the price of B&G here you should get light fluffy made from scratch fresh baked biscuits, and gravy made from scratch daily with real chunks of sausage. For the price of two full orders of B&G I could make enough gravy to make 20-30 orders, and its amazing. And biscuits arent rocket science and very inexpensive to make. But if the want to serve that garbage as biscuits and gravy, they should cut the price in half, and serve it hot. I think overall this is a good restaurant, I just hated their B&G lol.

We ordered from this restaurant today, and this is the fourth time this restaurant messed up our order. On this order, two combos were supposed to come with a side salad, and these orders came with soup instead. The second time we ordered from here, we were double charged for an order that was already paid for online, and a soft drink was missing! We had to go back to the restaurant to receive our refund. The third error, onions were put on a BLT, and it wasnt requested. BLT stands for BACON, LETTUCE & TOMATO! The fourth error, an omelette was ordered with cheese, and the cheese wasnt put on. Also, bacon and a omelette was ordered, and the bacon was burnt. In all of these separate orders on four different occasions, no apology was offered. No free meals. No gift cards. NOTHING! As a restaurant, its important to keep your loyal customers happy, and this restaurant just constantly reminds us how horrible their customer service is and much attention to detail they lack.

As my husband would say "This is where you should come for your last meal," not because the food was spectacular, but because youd prolong your life by at least an hour just waiting for your food to arrive. Service was extremely slow. We were seated at 11am and didnt receive the food till noon while the table of 9 next to us placed their orders, ate and packed up to leave. Sure, its possible that the large order slowed down other orders behind it but there were other tables of 2 who were seated after us walking out the door, take home carriers in hand, before our food arrived. Im giving this place 2 stars because it allowed my husband an hour of uninterrupted time to talk.

Just all around horrible service, my family and i have been waiting for over an hour for a table. We were told they couldnt take reservations so we came early the next day, they had this number system in place, which did no good at all because they were letting people call a head to get a number for there group. We got our nunber and were being continuously passed over because we had more then 6 in our group! This place has absolutely HORRIBLE costumer service when it comes to getting seated, the only plus side was that our waitress was very pleasant and joked around with us!

Its a pretty okay standard breakfast spot. What throws me off though is that the food quality is fairly mediocre. In particular, its disappointing that for being a place which calls itself a pancake house, is the fact that their pancakes are the frozen microwave kind and pretty underwhelming. Additionally their hash browns are served soggy with no crispy bits, remenescent of cafeteria style cheap breakfast food. Youre better off hitting up Papa Bear down the road for a solid diner style breakfast and real pancakes.

Used to come here weekly then they started not taking to go orders on weekends..so guess they dont need the business of customers who work nights say and just want to take food to go..now weekday morning getting off a long night shift try to call 3 times all three times no answer.. what type of breakfast place that opens at 6 doesnt answer the phone ?? Called three times from 605-620 ..place is going downhill fast..foods not bad once you get it ..but customer service here is non existent.

As a hispanic individual I have felt discriminated upon for the first ever here in this restaurant. Now I am aware that Batavia is a predominantly white area and people might not be used to diversity but that is no excuse for the poor service me and my family received. The waitress was rude to us but nice to other white families. It was an obvious act of discrimination and it infuriated me deeply. Needless to say, I will never come back to this restaurant.

I took my family here for the first time and I can say with confidence that we will return. Breakfast was amazing! The pancakes were some of the best Ive had and the biscuits and gravy were delicious. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The staff were super friendly as well. Not the least expensive place, but if you are looking for an excellent stack of pancakes, biscuits, and skillets, then check this place out.

Just moved to this area and I needed to find a good breakfast place. Very happy to see its close to my house, I could probably walk if I wanted to. The food was delicious, we ordered the pancake sandwich and the pecan stuffed french toast. The portions were good sized as we didnt even finish it. Its a cute place and the service was great. Will definitely be back often!

The restaurant has an old home-y feel, its cozy, which explains why our server was amazingly nice. She was attentive and sweet. The food was also great, you definitely get what you paid for. I got pancakes and they were so large that they took up the entire plate. So if youre looking for great pancakes and friendly service this is the place to go.

My family has enjoyed coming here for Sunday morning brunch for a while now. The food Always tastes great, everything is fresh & customer service is great. But our trip yesterday surprised all of us. The prices are still the same but the quantity of food has decreased. The price should reflect the change in quantity.
