Came in for the first time this past weekend with my girlfriend, I can easily speak for both of us when I say how amazing this place really is. We requested to be seated at the patio closest to the lake. The fountain lake view from our seats was just marvelous. Seconds after being seated we were greeted by our server who was very polite and professional, he explained the menu to us being our first time and recommended some of his personal favorites. Our orders came quick and in a very timely order. The appetizer, entrée and drinks were just exquisite! Oh and not to mention how generous the manager was, he came to have a chat with us and asked how everything was, I was not hesitant to say how happy we were that we came here. Quality service, exquisite food, and astonishing atmosphere, makes Pizza Barra easily a new favorite and among hottest new places Ive ever gone to. I told my girlfriend earlier that day that I had special dinner reservation, so I have to thank everyone at Pizza Barra for making it just that and more:) She fell in love with this place so you know we will be definitely coming back soon! Never wrote a Google review before but I knew moments after stepping outside of this place that I had to make this my very first one. :)

Service: HORRIBLE Food: OUTSTANDING Only if their service could be as good as their food. The first time I went it was a very busy Saturday night. Ordered a Pizza Barra Supreme pan pizza. They came out with a sausage instead. Gave us our correct pizza in 45 mins-to go bc I refused to wait after I had already waited an hour and 35 mins. Our server seemed inexperienced. We got a free pizza but it wouldve been worth the wait the first time not at home reheated. Today I decided to give it another chance. This time around 5, I feared going later would increase my chance of what happened the first time. Unfortunately, it wasnt any better. I clearly repeated myself to our server 3 times for a 14" pan pizza with customized toppings. In about 40 mins I received a thin crust pizza. Received that pizza free but it definitely wasnt enough to fill out stomachs. Probably wont be eating here again until Im ready to be disappointed and wait double the time for the correct pizza. But the fresh berries cheesecake is really delicious.

Food is good, Service is HORRIBLE! I went there the 1st time and me and a friend split the bill, they charged her card for half and mine for the full amount, when I pointed it out, charged for the whole amount again! Then a 3rd time for the half. Took a few days to get the money back on my card So I figured, its a fluke and went again about a month later. there were 3 people in the bar with 2 bartenders. Both acknowledged my existence and then after 10 minutes brought me a menu while failing to ask if I wanted a drink, while sitting at the bar! Then 5 minutes later finally asked me if I wanted a drink. Ummm, yes, I am sitting at the bar. Finally got my weak poorly made drink and sat there for another 30 minutes before they broke away from the rush of the same only 3 other people in the place to see if I was ok. I had finished my drink 10 minutes prior. I gave this place 2 chances, there definitely wont be a 3rd. Get your acts together, you are supposed to be a nice restaurant in Oak Brook, act like it!

We made reservations for patio because we heard it was an awesome patio. Were told when we arrived that there was a huge party on the patio and no seating available. Why wouldnt they know this ahead of time if it was a preplanned large group?? Whats the point of a patio reservation? The restaurant is very kid friendly and kid loud so we opted to sit in the bar. Service was terrible and slow. Server was annoyed that we wanted to order drinks. Wine glass stems were greasy, menu was greasy and server brought apps without napkins or silverware. Only one entree was served and server was annoyed that we asked for clean silverware for entree. The next pizza entree was served over 30 min later. Server grabbed plates for the second entree from another table. That seemed unsanitary. Evening was ruined.

Great Pizza poor hostess staff. We asked to sit outside and were told it would be a 30 minute wait. We put our name on the wait list and after 30 minutes another couple walks in and asks to be seated outside and they are lead directly outside. I approach the hostess and she apologizes and seats us while explaining that their "text" wasnt sent to notify us that our table was ready (I could smell the B.S excuses she was coming up with). Great pizza but 3 hostesses standing in the front never bothered to ask on us or look into any open tables because they were to busy talking to one another. Why pay 3 hostesses if none of them can do their jobs? Luckily the pizza put a better taste in my mouth than the service.

We went yesterday evening (July 3rd at around 7pm). The lady in the front was pretty friendly and she sat us immediately with no reservation. Once we were seated, after 25 minutes we just left because no one ever came to our table.... one person came (red shirt, guy with blonde hair who just gave us water but he didnt even greet us just took some glasses and left us water very quickly). No one ever came to take our drink order or anything. We left and on our way out what seem to be the manager told us to "have a nice day"

Outstanding artisan coal fired pizza! I highly recommend the buratta! The pizza is large and big enough to share... I recommend getting a side of sauce to dip your crust in because the warm, fluffy, and crispy crust is hard to leave behind. Well lit and clean. Great service. The water service is on point! Ample seating and an outdoor patio. Bar is nice sized with 4 tvs and plenty of stool seating! Cant wait to return!

Stopped in for lunch, had a thin crust w/meat balls on all of it and hot gardeniara on 1/2. It was everything I was looking for. If youre on the fence about going, YOU HAVE TO GO AT LEAST ONCE, you wont be disappointed. The inside looks great, cant wait to stop in after are long day at work for a beer sometime. Such a cool place, glad its here.

I enjoyed the pizza but they had no chocolate milk or pink/rasberry lemonade..... I mean come on what restaurant doesnt have the two best drinks ever. If you enjoy decent pizza, decent service and poor beverage choices I would recommend this place bud if you have kids 9-12 just let them no that here is not much verity in the beverage selection.

Great taste and flavor. Appetizers were tasty. We ordered a deep dish but little did we know these guys give you a more than brown crust. None of us liked it, has to peel off the burned look to eat the pizza. Next time Im ordering the thin pizza.

Really like Labriola, cant say the same for La Barra. Went for happy hour. You have to sit at the bar, not the best. Service was slow even though thy werent that busy. Food was good not great. Pizza sub par over priced. Bill inaccurate.
