Have been coming here for over a year and have noticed a change... Sri Krishna seems to be falling prey to the typical phenomenon of an increase in popularity resulting in a DECLINE IN QUALITY for the price. The chuntney and sambaars are noticeably watered down. The idlis poorly formed. The quantity of chutney and sambaar provided for the price has decreased considerably. Ive also noticed that outside of the lovely and blessed thatha (grandfather) who works there, the other staff members are inattentive, inefficient, and borderline rude. When asked for a half-order, I was lectured on the cost of paneer and therefore the need to package only whole orders by a very grim looking auntie. Very grim, indeed. Some of the young gentleman working there on the weekends have also gotten our orders wrong repeatedly and seem to be more interested in fraternizing near the door to the alley in the back than serving customers. My parents really love this place, so Im hoping this trend changes or that these were anomalies. Otherwise, I will no longer be making the journey to Sri Krishnas...

This place just has the best Dosa ever it just takes you back home. Its simple place nothing fancy about it but its like having dosa at your home. Staff is very polite smiling and helpful. Service is fairly quick and their food is amazing. If you can handle spicy their Mysore masala dosa is a must have. Yesterday my hubby tried their poori with sabji and he enjoyed it poori is unusual in shape as its cut like pizza slice. Their uttapam are classic home made. When I say homemade its a good thing real good thing. Yesterday something different happened when we were done having our meal the fellow offered me some tamarind rice and sabji as a compliment of Shri Krishna that was unusual and very kind of him and it was very yummy and refusing a compliment food would have been considered rude. All and all awesome food great people and they carries South Indian sweets too for people with that sweet tooth thing.

Yum!!Hands down the best South Indian Vegetarian catering option in the greater Chicagoland area. Murali has an extensive menu and works with you to create a delicious menu that your guests will rave about. Always fresh, homemade taste and pricing wise very reasonable. His avial, poli(bobatu), curd vada and pakodas are second to none! We catered for 125 people and the food was well packed and delivered at the event site on time hot and fresh!

Cannot thank Mr. Murali enough for catering our daughters wedding. Our guests were happy with the menu which included both traditional South Indian and North Indian dishes. Desserts, including imarti, puran poli and ras malai were a hit with everyone. Mr. Murali was unfailingly kind and easy to work with. Highly recommended!
