This place is a rare find. Truly amazing with some of the best food around. Its hardy and filling and so good that youll make it a regular eating spot just like I have. Pros: -the shop is amazing to look through, youre bound to find something -the food is amazing (9.8/10) -the atmosphere is extremely cozy and inviting -did I mention the food? Portion sizes are great, youll most likely have a little to bring home and after a few bites, youll quickly see why youll be glad of that. They have a great variety and enough customization with sides that you wont ever have the same meal twice (unless you just liked the one combination that much, but that can never be a bad thing!) -the staff are always polite and genuine! Cons: -its not in the best location and can be a little difficult to get to once off the highway or in the general vicinity, although after a few trips youll have it down -... -wow that is actually the only thing I can think of! -I want to say theres a very limited selection of vegetarian options, but dont quote me as I havent actively searched. Overall: Make it a tradition to come here after something. Be it birthdays, a trip to a relatives house, maybe even after six flags (like I do)! This is a place youll look forward to going to and itll top your list as a place you love to go!

I tend to be underwhelmed whenever I visit a Cracker Barrel, but I have to hit it at least once a year for the eggs in the basket with the hash brown casserole. Joanne B is a fantastic server and you should ask for her. One of my eggs was over hard and the bacon was still moving, and needed to be cooked some more. It was ironic, as after I ordered, two other tables were seated near me and everyone ordered the same thing as me. I would definitely give my server five stars. She apologized and actually took my coffee off the bill for the poor performance out of the kitchen. I asked if there was new cooks and she said, "... no the veterans just arent awake yet." Ill certainly make a point to come back sometime and visit Joanne and give the kitchen another chance.

Food was good, but I didnt appreciate being reprimanded by the waitress for subbing the mixed fruit for something else. Im allergic to certain fruits and vegetables. Luckily its not bad enough yet where I would need an epipen or go to the hospital. But its close though. The waitress brought it out anyway. I thought it would be fine since there werent anything that would cause me to react and I didnt want to be an ass and not eat the berries, but there must have been some form of cross contamination cause Im still dealing with some complications hours later. Otherwise, food was good, but I would stick to Perkins, ihop, Butterfields or a local diner where they dont scold you for not eating your favorite allergen.

I asked the server if I could have the green tomato gravy put on biscuits with my eggs. After asking her manager, she said the manager on duty at 9:30 would not let me have green tomato gravy, he said it only came one way, even though the gravy is portion-controlled. I even told him normally they just charge me the difference. He said "company policy was they could not serve me green tomato gravy unless it came in the meal they offered". Normally the wait staff and the managers bend over backwards to serve the customers. I was extremely disappointed. We have been going to that Cracker Barrel for over 20 years.

My family and I went here tonight to celebrate my moms birthday and the service was spectacular. We had a large party of 10, and were greeted with two friendly and knowledgeable staff members. They did a fantastic job keeping up with all of our drinks and asking us if we needed anything else. They were completely on their game and we all kept praising them throughout our trip. The food was amazing, as always. We even brought our own cake in (called ahead to see if this was OK), and our server provided us with plates, forks and a knife for it. Outstanding job! Would give you 10 stars if I could!

They make you walk through their shop of knick knacks and crap before you get to the actual restaurant. Smart business move and Im sure youll always take my Moms $ for some silly little magnet but so annoying, I came to a restaurant for food! Ha. The food by the way was decent. Love love love the fact they put the calories of the dishes on the menu! And they give you enough food to feed 2 people based on what I could see (our table of 3 and those around me). Good restaurants with a stupid store attached.

Fairly consistent service and quality of food at this location. Ive asked numerous times for a half grapefruit with my breakfast but they look at you like your from another planet. They do not offer fresh fruit or vegetables. Most menu items are rather bland probably to suit the average customer. Never the less I watch for Cracker Barrel signs when Im on the road because they are far better than the typical restaurant found at an Interstate Exchange.

Love their food, and their prices are very reasonable, but this location took FOREVER to get a person to take our order!! We literally had to flag down a person to do so because the original person forgot about us! The only other location that has done a good job is the one in Bolingbrook. Even the one in Tinley sucks! Management really needs to take another look at how their employees perform their jobs.

great place to dine for dinner, breakfast or lunch. Has a store as well so you are not bored during your wait which could be up to 2 hours on holidays due to its popularity. Its a must place to dine in if you are in the Naperville/Aurora area. Clean restrooms, plenty of parking and chess sets to keep you entertained while you wait. And lots of seating outside under the shade.

Service was awful the food was very bland and we didnt even get all of what we ordered. Then when I left the minimum tip because the service was awful they tried to make me feel bad for not tipping enough. Tipping is not an obligation it is something you earn through good service. When you do your job right you will earn an actual tip. I will also add it was not busy at all.

Cute blonde waitress working mornings. She has a good memory and a great..... wait a minute im getting off track. The country fried steak is usually what I order and its good everytime. I accidentally ordered chicken fried chicken last time and it was good too. I love the hash casserole and bisquits and gravy are good as well.
