My first impression is to say Im a little disappointed. I expected more from Meatheads than Meatheads was there to offer, but this is more of a shotcoming of expections rather than Meatheads doing what they do poorly. To be clear, Meatheads is more a fast food joint than a sit-down restaurant. They already have the lanes cut out for a drive through, but, for whatever reason, this is not yet a functional drive through. This isnt a BK or Wendys though. Its not that dumpy. Much more like a Steak & Shake, but not as hokey. The burgers are decent. To a certain degree they also are similar to Steak & Shake. Squashed, well-done griddled burgers (sorry, no medium rare burgers here), though I will admit the burgers at Meatheads are only a bit more impressive. Two meat patties per burger. However, their burger was missing something, almost as if they forgot to season it. It made the burger somewhat tasteless. Maybe it was the out-of-season tomato. Now the fries were a different story. Fresh cut. Fresh fried. Nice and salty. No issues here. Dont bother with the shakes. Theyre weakly flavored and grainy, almost as if they are using ice to make them. I will say the prices are commensurate with the product. This place is cheap, making their decent burger a better than average value.

The burgers are absolutely delicious and the range of toppings is outstanding. Their cajun fries are very good and so are the shakes. This place beats portillos and five guys hands down. Meatheads is sort of between a fast food place and a sit-down restaurant. They have a drive-thru but the food isnt immediately available as it takes between 5-6 minutes to get your meal. The quality of the food is well worth the wait. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Kristen (the person behind the register) gave us some amazing suggestions (egg on a burger? awesome!) and even checked up on us during our meal to make sure everything was fine. If you dont bawk at portillos pricing, you owe it to yourself to give this place a try.

If you enjoy hamburgers and you enjoy having many different choices of items to put on your hamburger then this place is for you. They do have hot dogs and chicken as well. The fries are made fresh from potatoes right in the restaurant, not frozen. They do offer milk shakes although I have not tried one yet because the burger and fries usually leave me stuffed. The only thing I find "wrong" per say is that if you go at a busy time you may not find a place to sit. The place is small but they do offer outside seating in warmer seasons. Overall, if u like a good burger made your way then you should give this place a try!

I was always a pretty loyal customer here especially as of late but this past time was just ridiculous. Dirty looks and stare downs at us from behind the counter, hair on top of the fries and I know it happens sometimes but of course we said something, just wanted them replaced, which they said okay too, waited 20 mins, never came out. Went up and said something, was asked " you never got em" No we never got em, you kidding. Waited another 5 mins, they were put in a to go bag even though we were dining in. Downhill plunge with hospitality and service. Ill be emailing them directly about this..

The people here make a great burger, they use high quality ingredients and you can taste it. Burgers are reasonably priced and filling. The drinks are a little pricey. Everything is a la carte, so you can custom build your burger. Many toppings, most of them free (except of course most proteins, and a few others), and some of the best homestyle fries anywhere around. They taste like homemade or from an amusement park almost! I recommend a Mushroom and Swiss with Grilled Onions! You wont be disappointed!

I was very disappointed with Meatheads...my husband who is easy to please liked his hamburger but it was the size of a Whopper Jr and cost $5.00. I ordered an egg, cheese and bacon sand wich and when I got home it had no bacon and cost $3.25. We wont go back. There are plenty of places that make a really good hamburger for alot less in price.

Awful customer service. With such a limited menu you would think they could get theyre orders out correctly. Every time Ive been here my simple order has been wrong. Ruben sandwich add bacon. Not that hard. Fries are never crispy enough and the staff eagerly accepts your complaint with a smile. Dont waste youre time or money here.

The food is definitely worth the price. Burgers are hot, juicy, and tasty. Lots of fries come with a small. So come hungry! Staff is very polite and takes our food away once done. Only thing that annoys me is the price for a small drink is 2$. That is a tad to pricy; $1.50 seems to be a more reasonable price. Overall very pleased

I was getting a little burnt out on all these burger places before I tried Meatheads. When I tried them out, I found they have healthier chicken options as well - and it tastes great! Burgers are excellent as well. Great "build it yourself" style ordering. Cajun fries are OUTSTANDING.

Horribly overpriced and extremely average. Ive had amazingly superior burgers for half the price. Also, got an egg on my burger, and it was cooked to much, so no yolk oozing, which defeats the purpose of having egg on the burger. Fries were room temperature. And they were playing creed

TRY HABIT BURGER, NOTHING ELSE WILL DO, HABIT BURGER IS IN CALIFORNIA, BUT IS ALSO SPREAD OUT ACROSS THE USA, SO FAR NONE IN IL , BUT ONE CAN HOPE. ONCE YOU TRY THE HABIT NOTHING ELSE WILL DO AND YES INEXPENSIVE, FLAME GRILLED FRESH IN FRONT OF YOU. EXCELLENT BURGERS & SHAKES.

If you go through the drive thru, expect to wait a whole because they make your food to order. Once you get the food, it is super hot and tastes great. I highly recommend a straight up cheddar cheese burger if its your first time and definitely one of the shakes.

Definitely tastes like a good quality Burger I did ask for cheese, did not get it. The whole ordering process was confusing but I definitely asked for cheese. Go inside if your first time going there but dont expect them to explain anything. Good Cajon fries.

Great burgers and great cajun fries! Falls in between your Burger King and Red Robin but much better than Burger King for sure! Great staff, thats always important when I write a review, friendly people make food that much better! Id recommend it!

Love this place. The burgers are great, the chicken fingers are even better. Especially if you get some of the sauce topping for dipping. Personal favorite is the buffalo ranch.
