So, I just drove around 2 miles to this shop today evening.I ordered for a chocolate fudge truffle with 3 mix-ins 48 oz to go cup. The representative informed me that he is short of the quantity cannot make a 48 oz cup to me. Instead,he asked me to get 2 cups for 32 oz. I denied and ordered 1 cup of 32oz to which he replied that he can get me 2 cups of 16 oz. Only reason he gave me was he was short of quantity.Now previously he had 64 oz of ice cream and so he can make 2 cups of 32 oz, than why he denied for 48 oz cup???? later he agrees to give 2 cups of 16 oz which means he had 32oz of ice cream, than why he denied of 1 single 32oz cup???? It is because the franchise owner wants to earn more money by serving small size cups only rather than big cups which could be quite cheaper for customer. Does this franchise owner thinks that customers are fool?????????? I will make sure that I go till end to complain about this incident.

I love icecreams at Cold Stone. I was at the one at Naperville few days ago. I had ordered a regular size of one of the hot stone chocolate icecream but the lady who made it gave me in a large size cup and charged me for the large size which I thought was fine probably a few scents to enjoy more.. I paid around $6.02 and completely enjoyed it. The biggest mistake I did was when I signed the receipt, I dint mention any tip amount or neither marked as zero..a couple of days later the transaction for this was more than $9!!! Holy cow!! they added more than $3.50 for tip which is totally unfair. Nearly half the price of an icecream..Be aware guys!! Make sure you ask for the right size of icecream and PLEASE mention the tip or mark it as ZERO to save your bucks!!

Worst customer service Ive experienced at a Cold Stone. We went after my sister talked this place up and drove 25 min. just for their ice cream... When I was giving my order to the guy he looked like he didnt want to be there in the first place but I was being nice and friendly and started saying what I wanted and he just walked away... didnt let me finish saying my order and I got a brownie ice cream with barely any ice cream because I was going to ask for an extra scoop but he just walked away knowing I was still talking to him. When I was telling my fam what he did while he was preparing my Sunday he was looking at me rolling his eyes. So rude! Will never go back there again!

The ice cream was subpar and overly priced, and the customer service left much to be desired. I think what enraged me the most is that they serve incredibly cloying ice cream and refuse to provide tap water to customers. A friend of mine, allergic to nuts, requested that special care be taken into preparing her ice cream. You would think that $5 for shitty ice cream would at least merit excellent customer service. Instead, her request was met with disdain and teenage eye-rolls. I dont recommend this establishment to any self-respecting person.

My first ever bad experience, I wanted the churro in which the guy begins to say that its being fazed out off the menu and he didnt think there were any more left, like he didnt feel like making it so he wasnt going to even look, then at the last minute hes says yeah we have it, I wanted a different kind of ice cream and I couldnt have it according to him it was too much to do...the churro I got must have been the very last one bcus I could taste the freezer burn, it wasnt even warm, just nasty...so disappointed!

Absolutely horrible. When asked about products, mix ins staff was actually "duh" clueless. 4:00pm on a Friday in summer. Staffed? Yes. 7 of them. No one had a clue, no one in charge. My previous visits WA, OR, CA, NE, WI. At least 15 locations. 2nd and last try here. Walked out last time as well.

Stopped by to get a snack. The line was very long but the ice cream was worth the wait. Its one of the best ice cream especially in a chocolate dipped waffle bowl. The place is very small and has limited sitting. Customer service was good.
