Im always kind of on the fence about this place. I dont even really like their ice cream but I go there because family members like it. The staff is always hit-or-miss. Most of them are teenagers who seem like theyd rather be doing anything but scooping ice cream for people. There have been multiple occasions where I had to bring my item back to the counter and ask them to make it again. Its not terrible but it is expensive and not spectacular.

I took my baby here for her first ice cream on a slow afternoon. We shared a cone of Black Cherry; the soda jerk gave us a generous portion. The baby explored the parlor, smiling at people and waving, occasionally returning for a little bit more. The parlor was brightly white clean, the way an ice cream parlor should be. The staff gave her a helium balloon as we left, the perfect end to a perfect visit to a perfect ice cream parlor.

2 stars just because of couple nice and friendly guys are working there. And Oberweis is not bad at all. But manager Dan is rude and unfriendly person that is why I will give business to somebody else. That is how one person can ruin all good impression.

My wife couldnt tell which scoop was coffee and which was chocolate. I dont think a vanilla bean ever got near my scoop. My hot fudge tasted like bland goo and was sparsely served. The prices were through the roof. Loved the decor and music.

That time when you run into Mr. Oberweis at Best Buy and he says "Do you know who I am" trying to get a deal with the nice checkout lady there. SO for that, screw you and your overpriced ice-cream shop Mr Egoweis.

Absolutely best ice-cream I have ever had in my life, period! Dont believe me then come and try it out yourself. Apply pie, blue berry pie and cookies & cream are favorite.

Love my late nights ice creams here. Also the milk is awesome if you dont mind hoarding the glass bottles at home. Hear about the home deliveries too but havent tried yet.
