I went to this location last night for my Birthday. Me, my sister, and our friend get to the door, and the security guard made an unnecessary big deal about my IDs. He thought one was real and the other one was fake. He spent so much time holding up the line looking at them. He even called another guy over to look at them. I was pissed because even if one looked fake and one was real, and both had the same info why the hell were we still standing there. He didnt even at least say Happy Birthday. We then got our table and the music was so loud we couldnt even hear eachother talk. We placed our orders. Later we realized we ordered the same dish which was nachos and I wanted to cancel my order. The waitress was rude the minute she came to our table. It took us forever to get service also. I had told the waiter I wanted to cancel my order. She then came back to our table and said her manager said they couldnt cancel my order because it was already made, but they will only cancel it this one time. She then said next we cant cancel our order the next time. Im thinking to myself there wont be a next time, we are not regulars. She also said we cant pay for peoples food. I thought to myself well eat it. We left immediately and I will NEVER go to that damn resturant again.

It seems I had a similar experience as the other reviewers here. I went to this location on a Tuesday night and came with a group of 7 friends. We were asked for our IDs ( we are all in our early-mid twenties). I did not have a drivers license with me as I had a ticket. I had my FOID as well, neither of which were accepted. The manager came over and explained. The manager was polite and I said I understood and did not request to be served alcohol. 10 minutes later our server, who is the reason for this review came over and asked me to leave. She was rude when she asked for all of our IDs and she became upset when I asked her politely if I could speak to a manager to see if there was an exception to be made. When she asked me to leave, she said "Yeah you cant stay here you need to go now" Even if I was asked to leave (policy is policy) and it was in a polite and professional manner as the manager conducted herself in, I would not be writing this review. The 1 star is due completely to the poor attitude of our server. I will not be recommending this location to friends and clients.

We pulled up, they have on their website that they are open until 1 am and my mother in law is in the hospital so we decided to go and grab some food while we were waiting because we hadnt had anything to eat all day. We go walking up and there is one of the employees standing right in front of the door while we are trying to open them and he very rudely waved his arm back and forth I guess indicating they were closed. We will never even consider returning to this establishment. Very rude and if the staff that was standing by the door talking on his phone was any indication of how this place is Im very happy that we didnt have to eat there. Glad that we found these incredibly nice people at the Rosatis down the street who were happy to serve us some food and were so incredibly nice! Id give 0 stars on this place if I could. Bar Louie made a bad day worse!

This place is a haven for wanna be gangsters and hipsters. Slow service, rude service and act like this is the only bar and restaurant in Naperville. Almost got into a fight (not that I am looking for one considering I am in my mid 40s and a cancer surviver) because a bunch of young punks wanted my space at the bar. Found out they were buddies of the bouncers and because I wouldnt give up my spot, the bouncers said I was unruley. Considering I stood there watching the TV waiting for my wife, I hardly consider me being unruley. Wouldnt go to this place if they were giving away free money and beer. Dont waste your time on this chain POS that poses (or posers) as a night club

Went here during the middle of the week - horrible table service. 3 or 4 bartenders just standing around and not looking for new customers. The waitress walked by 3x and didnt even acknowledge we were the only other couple on the patio. They dont want certain types of customers at this location so be careful if you go there - they might just not want your type Have been to other locations and they were good, this one in downtown Naperville is not friendly or looking to serve all customers. With new bars and more places to go, this location is not a good choice - go to other bars where they want your business.

Thats a shame. This place got all the potential to have 5 stars and I would rate it 5 cause the music is good, the food is good and even the prices are very good (a specially on wednsdays) but the only thing that ruin the place and is one of the most important, its the service. The girls at the bar are rude and disrespectful, they dont appreciate the customers or even their job. Takes forever to get service and Ive been even ignored a few times, not mention its a dream come true getting a smile. Theyre only nice to people they know personally.

I have never been more disrespected in my life. The amount of time it took to get a first drink was ridiculous. Staff was too busy flirting with table to wait on us. We finally get our drinks as we thanked her nonsarcastically and we get thrown out of the bar. The bouncer says cause she heard us over say something which was not only embarrising but a flat out lie. I felt like we were being judged from the get go and plan to take further action about the highly inappropriate behavior of this staff.

Curiously, I was craving for a 10/10 burger, and I like it with beers!... So, I chose this place to try its burger out, it was ok and fresh but very small and thus very pricey (Id say 6/10 according to my expectations and experiences). On the other hand, the service was good, my server was apparently by herself and it was kinda of busy night, I got everything in perfect time. I would come back, not for burgers but for the server. ;) ....

The food here is fantastic and so are the drinks. The only problem I always encounter whenever I go here is very slow service and confused (but friendly) wait staff. Dont come here expecting to eat within a half hour-45 minutes. It also can get pretty noisy here, so despite the nice layout and overall vibe of the place, it often gets ruined by overly loud music and customers. Despite that, I think the food/drinks are worth waiting for.

I remember huge sandwiches at the downtown Chicago Bar Louies in the early 2000s. And the fries came in a very large plate, more than enough for two. At this location the sandwiches are half the size and the order of fries can only be described as: "what was left over from a previous batch". Pretty pathetic, guess the corporate overhead is eating into what made them a great place to go. Disappointed in January 2012.
