This is the worst place to get food from, I am sorry to say this but DO NOT GET FOOD FROM THIS PLACE!! I REPEAT DO NOT!!. the food is is fair no taste what so ever. The fried rice has no seasoning at all i personally had to put about 10 packets of soy sauce. The "Pu Pu Platter For Two" horrible everything was so greasy I mean my dog could cook better than this "Golden Kitchen". They should rename this joint into the Poo Kitchen. The best part of my meal were the fortune cookies and the almond cookies and my soft drink. This is a total rip-off, the bill was about $30.00 when it should have been $15.00. Dont even get me started about the service, when I called in to place my order for a delivery I didnt even get a pleasant hello I mean come on, My aunt sally is nicer than this place I mean come on. On the delivery part they were 15 mins late. So PLEASE dont order from this place unless you Want to get a rip-off

Ordered sweet and sour pork and hot and sour soup. First off, the batter on the pork wasnt cooked well and the rice tasted so dry. They also forgot to add the side for the actual sweet and sour sauce, so I essentially ate raw battered pork with dry fried rice. The hot and sour soup smelled and tasted rotten! Of all the hot and sour soup Ive had in my life, this one was definitely the worst. Its so obvious that the soup was old, reheated, and far from fresh. I also ordered chicken wings and they were decent at best. Overall, I wouldnt recommend this restaurant and would drive elsewhere for better Chinese food.

Ive been living in Vernon Hills for about 2 years now. For a while I had been searching for a good Chinese food place, until I happened upon this place. Ive never dined-in, I always get take-out, but they are always super friendly, fast service, and decently priced. Ive never had any issue with the food arriving disheveled or tasteless. Everything Ive tried has been good, except I dont think Id recommend the fried crab meat because its immitation crab, and the fried wontons are a little sweet for my taste. Their sweet and sour chicken and fried vegetables are especially good.

the Only good thing about the food is that it was hot, as it was just cooked. I called 30 minutes ahead to place order and they say it would be ready in 15 minutes, after 45 minutes of waiting was given food. I ordered the chicken chop suey, TASTESLESS, MUSHY, FOUR SMALL PIECES OF CHICKEN>>>PORK FRIED RICE NO TASTE, no PORK, NO EGG or BEAN SPROUTS Like they make it at other restaurants. price was reasonable, but not worth paying for tasteless food. I tried this place just to see what it was like. Well, when I walked in, they didnt greet me, the service staff were just talking among themselves. After I paid for my pickup order they didnt even thank me. It just went down hill from there. The entree itself was mediocre. I ordered Mongolian Beef lunch special, It had very little beef, they were generous with the chicken fried rice but again it had very little chicken. I gave them a try but wont be returning. They failed on so many levels: service, food etc.

If if you want to go to a good Chinese place this is where you go the food is delicious the prices are right you can get lunch at dinner time the very friendly and theyre very clean in there so dont dont be surprised to go in there and two people can eat for $15 and thats with a drink there great great people to deal with Ive been going there since the place has been open and they come all the way from China Town everyday and the owner is always there

Just ordered delivery of food and its good and bad. I have seen in consistency in the taste with certain dishes. There were changes in the sauce used and the vegetables on the same dish ordered many times. I wish the taste stayed the same ever. Some of them are tasty. I will not rate them bad. They are good. Well the rolls that come free are hopeless. Sometimes they taste stale. We always throw them away. Hope they do something about that

Im new to the area and I dont eat chineese much. This place surprised me. Their customer service was amazing. When I walked In with my young son he was given a fortune cookie. I walked in to get take out. the prices are great. They give large portions. I ordered way too much thinking the portion size was going to be smaller. The food was really good and was cooked very fast. I will definitely be eating here more often.

Takes way too long for food to arrive. I ordered the food online at 1130am and its after 1pm now and nothing. After calling to see whats up they said they arent busy and food will arrive fast. I told them I was calling to see where my order was and all they said was its on its way. Very dissapointed.

Horrible fried rice....not even fried. No egg, no bean sprouts, barely any chicken and no green onions. Lacks color. Beef and broccoli has a bad after taste and tough. I would not recommend. Not authentic by any means. Will not be eating here again.

The food was fine. But it took almost 2 hours for them to get to my house 3 miles away. When I called to see where my food was, the lady was less than helpful and actually a little confrontational about me calling.

We order from here all the time. The delivery is fast and fresh - the food is hot. We have not found anything that we dont like, which is unusual for us. A great find!
