From my 1st call from placing an order from out of state, to confirmation, adding an addiotional tray the day of day of, to follow up, Avanti was Outstanding! Exceptional staff, Katie, who took time & was genuinely helpful in suggesting what would be a good addition after considering our order, all the details, and totally "delivering" a few hours before pick up when we discovered the possibility of additional guests! Exceptional customer service! Everyone literally Raved about the food. Delicious!! Prices & portions were reasonable and worth it! I will recommend to all my relatives living in Chicagoland & I know where to go for any future gatherings when Im in town! Thank You Avanti for adding to a Spectacular day & memorable Baby Shower

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Went there for the first time today and it has such a cozy feeling but most importantly, food is excellent. I had the seafood salad and tortellini salad and both were amazing. I also had the chai tea (smelled like heaven itself and tasted even better). They had these cheese pastry stick things by the register that looked AMAZING too but I had to cut myself off at some point. All the food looked to be 100% quality food and it all looked and smelled amazing. The best part is that it isnt terribly expensive. Highly recommend!

Avante Cafe is THE BEST! Not only is their food fabulous but they are the most accommodating and welcoming staff Ive ever experienced. I cannot tell you how many last minute business luncheons and family gatherings they have catered for me. Each and every time they are gracious and go out of their way to make my experience the best that it can be. Avante is very old world in a sense that they still very much care about the quality of the food they serve and they always put their customers first.

Avanti has the Best Homemade sandwiches around and Great Italian food. My personal favorite item is the Milano Tostino sub, Its Amazing. The Milano Tostino has prosciutto, roasted red peppers, mozzarella, and italian dressing. The bread is so incredible, its like nothing Ive had before.... Anyways I love this place and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food!!

Food was good. but lack of sauces on sandwiches was heard from all who had it. Called order in and was told to come twenty minutes later but once there and paid for waited another twenty minutes for food. Giving a heads up should make it a quick in and out but obviously very mismanaged at the counter. Dont call ahead just walk in and dont leave the counter til you get your food.

I had the diavolo. It was pretty good. The bread was fantastic. The service here was pretty sub standard. You only get one refill on fountain drinks and they only fill them about 80% full and try to slap a lid on it before you get a chance to see how low they filled it. Overall, I recommend it. But make sure they top your drink!

We found this place to stop and have an espresso as we arrived in Chicago the owner Tony was very hospitable the espresso is actually Italian coffee not Starbucks and they offer a great selection of breakfast lunch and do not have a single complaint about this place kudos to Tony and his family for keeping Italian tradition alive

Amazing! We love getting sandwiches here. Looks like fast food place, but it is really more of a casual dining experience. While you order at the counter, your food is brought to your table so you can relax and visit with your friends while you wait. Outdoor patio dining is also a great way to sped the afternoon.

This place is fire!!! absolutely love the freshness and the quality of everything. Their Paninis are very delicious. I Discovered this place last week and I have already had it 4 times and Im having it today!!! man this is so good! the owner is a real Italian and the dude is really nice.

The sub-sandwiches at this place are the best made in the country. They make them packed with meat and very tasty appropriate veggies. The wait is very much worth the payoff. They will bring your meal out to your table with a friendly greeting. This place is very family friendly.

Food is incredible. Staff was very friendly. Huge portions for the price paid. I had leftovers from every meal I had. So much diversity on the menu I could eat here every day and not get sick of it. Try the canoli!

The coffee was reasonably priced for the size and decent taste but nothing spectacular. The Italian omelet of sausage and pepper on panini was dry, salty and burnt on the edges. Large portion but not very good.

Great place for Italian food!!! Marinara sauce is exceptional! Vodka sauce is awesome! Gnocchi is awesome! Meatballs are great! Cowzone is to die for!!! One of my favorite places I must go in Chicago!
