This was by far the worst Olive Garden, I have even been to. My server was short and curt (Javier B), there was a table that came in after my son and I with 4 people and he took their order first, then came to our table dropped off the menus and walked away. He never introduced himself, nor did he offer water, or beverages to us. Once we placed our order and my salad arrived, it was wilted and tasted horrible. I asked for a fresh salad, boy did that make him upset. He came back with a "fresh" one, a bowl with peppers and a few stems of lettuce. I wasnt going to let that bother me. Upon receiving my entree.. I ordered the tour of Italy. Chicken was great, the lasagna was cold in the middle. It was disgusting, I tried getting my servers attention on several occasions to get more bread. That eventually happened and again when we received them, they taste of poor quality the middle part was soggy. My 5 year son had to go to the bathroom, we were in the dividing wall between the bathroom and the restaurant. On our way to the bathroom, there was a server hiding there standing up stuffing his face with food, he was obviously hiding from someone since he freaked out and walked back in to the kitchen. When we asked for our check, the server told me I could check out with the devise on the table. The devise did not work, so I had to wait again for him to bring the check. Over all this place is a "0" its dirty, it has a weird wet smell when you walk in the door. The service loiter around the host stand while people are trying to get seated. If they are going to do that at least greet or acknowledge the people when they are walking instead of continuing a conversation about a guest that didnt tip you well. Im sure they didnt tip you because your service is sub par. Get it together! There are a ton of options for people to go to, service is key to success. We know that your food is not the best, but my son likes it for me its about the service... Im willing to eat crappy food once a month to make my 5 year old happy as long as the service is better then the food.

Employees are thieves! My wallet fell out of my back pocket in the booth so its my fault for not checking to make sure it was still in my pocket but as I was getting up an employee was clearing our table and I spoke to him telling him there computer on the table wasnt working. We were in as soon as they opened on a Saturday and the place was empty and on our way out it was still empty! When I came back to pick up my wallet they took my money!! I spoke with a manager telling her we came in first thing in the morning and what happened and she continued to say I dont know if it was an employee that found it or a guest that found it that NIGHT, it cant be a guest if no one was there and we were in the morning and not at night!! So not only am I missing close to $30 but a laundry card is gone too I dont remember how much was on that seeing how my washer is now fixed and I wasnt using it. What really pisses me off is Liz the manager that day stood by "a guest could have done it that night" but the host said a guys name that I didnt hear and pointed to where we were sitting so their own employees know who stole from me! So dont expect anything from them cuz they will protect their employees when they are wrong!! Now I wish I would have told them how bad the food was instead of being polite and saying everything was great!! Ive been trying to speak with the store manager but he is never there so corporate is now my next call, I know Im not getting my money back but I never even got a Im sorry this has happened just a continuous it could have been a guest.

Olive Garden in general has really gone down in quality. Granted the food isnt authentic, just their version of Italian dishes but every time Ive dared to give them another try, Im more and more disappointed. Cant even get my pasta al dente. I tried something different this time...why?! I tried their new Chianti braised beef w/gnocchi or something like that. Worst gnocchi Ive ever had!! Over cooked, super squishy the texture was really unbearable. The meat had good flavor but was over cooked. My guy got the minestrone soup and the Tour of Italy as usual. Actually couldnt blame him for not trying something new here. The best part of my meal was the salad, bread sticks, my waitress (cant remember her name but a really sweet girl) and the Mango Strawberry frozen margarita which was just okay. The bathrooms were disgusting and I couldnt figure out for the life of me why this place was packed. I think this will be my absolute last trip to Olive Garden. Do yourself a favor, Chicago is such a diverse city with tons of other Italian restaurants that are more authentic, TRY ONE OF THOSE PLACES, any other place outside of Olive Garden.

horrible horrible service and food. I dont know if its because I went on opening day but it was disgusting paid 60 bucks for garbage. waited about 30 min to even get a waitress at our table another 20 for our drinks and at least 30 min for our food. Our drinks were watered down, food had a horrible taste to it. I asked the waitress if she ever worked as a waitress before she said no. She played with her hair while taking our order DISGUSTING!!! WE COULDVE LITERALLY WALKED OUT WITHOUT PAYING THE BILL. the table behind us had to cancel their order because it was taking too long and they had to get back to work. A guy sitting at the table next t us had to get up to look for his waitress because she took too long to come take their orders. Horrible experience. I love olive garden but this one was bad. They couldve been more organized for it being their opening day .

Food is great and that is it...I reserved a table here for my family celebration and I did that a week before celebration. After being on hold for 20 minutes they finally found a person who was able to use a brain to make a reservation. I came with 10 people on that day... an guess what... NO RESERVATION. They set up our tables in a hurry but it turned out ok - no fireworks. After that waitress came and... guess what... NO RECOMMENDATION OF ANY KIND. She was nice but rarely seen at the table. Appetizers were served together with main dishes which was after 40 minutes of awkward wait. Food is good but all of the Olive Gardens serve good food. I would say try to stay away from this kind of customer service.

Its been a long while since entering Olive Garden and so we gave it a try. My fiancé and I entered around 930-10pm. The food was ok. The waiter was great but the hostess was rude. She complained in front of us and other customers. She made it very clear she was unhappy because everyone entered the restaurant an hour before closing and now because of "us" she will have to wait until everyone finishes their food to leave. She was loud and obnoxious and it made us feel very uncomfortable. None of the staff around her didnt not even say one word to her to try and stop the attitude. This was a Saturday night and clearly she was not prepared to handle the weekend rush. Overall unpleasant experience.
