First time here and it is delicious! I had this idea in my head that this was like an old school soup and salad place. I am so glad I was wrong. I tried a couple of combos, the first was pesto chicken and chipotle chicken salad, and the second was chili enchilada chicken and the honey cilantro carnitas. Very flavorful and good portions, good amount of dressing without salad drowning. Best part is that the combo comes wth a chocolate covered strawberry to finish the meal. I also tried the cheesecake and it was delish without being too sweet. Nice and soft, not dry. I like that salads and sandwiches can be easily customized and soups can be jazzed up with a bunch of different topping options like tortilla strips, crispy onions, cheese, etc. While I really like this place, Im just a little disappointed that they cant really serve folks with nut allergies. They have no guarantees with cross contamination. That was really the only downside. Facilities are sparkling clean and plethora of drink choices available.

I had the half salad half soup combo. The California Protein Cobb was freshly made. Not a traditional cobb salad had olives and feta cheese...the Cauliflower soup tasted heavy on the flour and the manager was very kind and sweet when I complained (sorry I was not nicer). I tasted the roasted red pepper with lobster before getting my bowl. That was good. My husband got a pulled pork sandwich served with honey mustard instead of the expected bbq sauce (did not read the board) and New England Clam Chowder (lacked clam flavor and was heavy on potato). The staff were young and friendly. The portion were small (good for light lunch or snack - not dinner) as they are a calorie focused fast food alternative restaurant. No carb information available. We wont be going back for our own ideas about diet.

Zupas? More like hair in your foodas. I came here with friends for dinner for the first time and we were really excited. Their menu is filled with delicious looking soups, salads and sandwiches. The food wasnt bad but the service ruined it for me. I ordered a panini and when I sat down I realized there was a hair melted into the cheese. Ive worked food service before and I know things can happen but when we brought it to their attention they did not offer any sort of compensation for the mistake. They didnt even bother to take the sandwich, which my friend was holding with her bare hands. All they said was "yeah you can throw that out". Not a stellar experience. I would go again for the brownies but I wouldnt come to this particular location again.

Im in love with your food. The service there is really fast. I love going there during my lunch time. In my last visit I had a pick 2 a soup and a salad. The nice girl asked me if I wanted cheese and croutons on my soup, I agree. At the time of paying I paid almost $12 for soup and salad without a drink! I was not aware I was getting charged for cheese and croutons! The price on the menu is a little high for just a lunch, if I add couple of bucks more I can almost buy me a fancy dinner. Im afraid I wont be able to afford eating there during my lunch.

A step up from Panera at the same pricepoint. The food was a little salty but well seasoned with herbs. I took a star off because I had to repeat my order 4 times: each employee asked what I had. The first employee aparantly takes sandwich orders and puts lettuce in a bowl. The second puts salad toppings on or serves your soup. The third just stands there asking if you want creme brulee. The fourth rings you up. The staff seemed a little confused but it was only the second day they were open, so I hope that will get better in the future.

Top on my current favorite list for quick lunch sneak outs. Sandwiches and soups are thumbs up. However Salad dressings needs to get little stingy on sugar. I tried their mango salad and it was good but I could not ignore sugary dressing. The only drawback of this place is squeezed up sitting arrangement. Some tables are place so close to each other that you have to make someone get up in order to reach safely without spilling and splashing ur food !

The atmosphere and variety are appealing, and I appreciate the inclusion of the chocolate-dipped strawberry. However, I must warn you, DO NOT get anything with the crab salad. I had a sandwich with it and it gave me gastrointestinal issues over the next few days. Besides this possible hygiene issue (which makes me suspect this isnt an isolated incident), Zupas is not an unpleasant place to eat, although I would certainly say its overpriced.

Curious, I stopped here on a whim, rather than at the Chipotle as I set out to originally. This place was surprisingly good and fulfills the same price:portion niche. They serve up sandwiches, soup, and salads akin to a Panera or Corner bakery, but in a short order line format similar to Chipotle. By the time you leave the counter you have your food. Tables are bussed. Definitely recommend if youre looking to change things up.

Wheres the meat? My pulled pork sandwich has no meat. Small sandwiches. Friendly staff but very disorganized. Everyones crowded in front talking to each other. I got asked the same question 6 times. Here or to go? Here or to go? They also said hey your sandwich comes with free chips! Then the cashier said nope your combo doesnt come with chips. Get organized, I wasnt impressed, rather go to potbellys or Jasons deli.

Food is okay. Service was not good tonight. The first guy that help us was rude and the following employee didnt care to hear what we were asking for. The last employee packed out food in boxes even when we told her we were eating here. Maybe it was just this time but I remember the first time I came it wasnt like this. Anyways, try it out for yourself I guess.

Its like Panera meets Chipotle...but better. Super quick ordering process, fresh, delicious, promptly prepared food, free chocolate covered strawberry with your combo order, and fun, infused teas and lemonades. So happy they have a location in Wheeling, as Schaumburg can be a bear to deal with.

No complaints about food except you should be more willing to make customer happy about portions. And the girls need to wear there hair back especially a manager , you working with customers food hair should not be in there face. Wear a hat... otherwise most of the employees are very kind.

It is my second time me and my familt come and we are staring to love it. Chicken pesto and Ultimate grilled cheese are our favorite sandwiches. Not salty and perfect cooked. The mushroom and tomato-basil soups are yummy, even my daughter likes it. Dont forget to try the Infusion drinks.

Really good quality food locally sourced. Love the wild mushroom soup and the salads are fresh. They limit you to 1 protein and 5 toppings but they have a wide variety of toppings. The deserts are absolutely delicious. And they give you a chocolate covered strawberry with your meal.

Great food (soups, salads, sandwiches) custom made. Enjoy other drink options beyond soda fountain, including house made custom concoctions. All finished with a side of bread and a chocolate covered strawberry, compliments of the house. Nice touch!
