AMAZING! I cannot fully express how incredible this place is! I was surprised by my boyfriend for my birthday and it definitely is one for the books. The cozy, intimate setting adds the right touch to dinner, plus the food was nothing short of delicious. The dessert - to die for! Of course, I may add, the service was great and helped us when we had a question. Very attentive and welcoming at all times. The whole experience was just perfect! I am definitely looking to comeback, might just need to start giving him hints :)

What a spectacular experience! This was the only fine dining restaurant within miles of Joliet, and was worth the drive. The room, the food, and the service were all excellent; this is the best dining experience I have had in a small town anywhere in America. My three-course dinner was fabulous, the cocktails we large and generous, and the wine was superb. There were no criticisms or shortcomings, and I cant wait to go back. Dont miss it...

Have only eaten there once. Food was excellent. Restaurant was a bit too quiet and small for our taste though with only 6 or 7 tables. The owners came out a few times and talked with most of the people at the tables as it appeared they were regulars. I kind of felt like we were outsiders at a family gathering. That being said I am almost drooling thinking about the food. Maybe next time we have an extra $200 to indulge we may try again.

We enjoyed a magnificent meal on our 15th wedding anniversary dinner this past winter. First time to Tallgrass after residing in the area for over 10 years. Definitely will not be our last.
