Very disappointing experience. I walked in with my girlfriend on Sunday around 11:45am. There was no one waiting and we had just beat the lunch and after church rush. The hostess was having a conversation with a person who looked to be her mom. She asked me what my name is but didnt ask me how many people I had in my party. She was too anxious to get back to the conversation she was having with her friend/mother. Sure enough as my girlfriend and I waited for close to 10 mins the lobby began to fill with several people, close to 20. Sure enough a 2nd hostess came and sat a party of two people who came 3 to 4 minutes after we did. I went up to the 2nd hostess and told her that we were here before they were. Of course she could not find my name in their iPad. The hostess that took my name never spoke up and said I made a mistake- she just ignored my concern then eventually said I dont see his name either to the 2nd hostess. How could you possibly not remember me when my girlfriend and I were the only people that walked in and were waiting in your lobby alone for close to 4 minutes. I know why- because you were too busy conversing with your mom instead of tying my name in the iPad which would take 2 seconds of your time. The 2nd hostess rectified the first hostesss mistake by sitting us immediately. The main reason that I am typing this review is not just because of the hostesss mistake. It is because when I finally got my skillet the hashbrowns were burnt and inedible. I guess I got what the name burnt toast embodies. Burnt toast please train your hostesses better. FYI- the hostess has blonde hair and wears a white blouse with black stripes. It will be hard for me to come back.

I been comeing to eat breakfast here ever since they open since its in town and today was my last day. I will never return here the management is very rude and unprofessional. I had a party of 5 and they told me wait time is 15 min so I waited 5 min later they tell me my table is ready we are seated but my party is not all here missing 3 and they were 10 min away so the management guy who runs it (might be owner ) tells my waiter to tell me why and were is my party. never in my life in any restaurant I been ask how long will the rest off my party be here we have a lot of people waiting and we prefer you guys to wait in the waiting until you are all here . Before this I could see that guy throwing a tantrum over 3 chairs not fill . So I deside to pay for my drinks and leave . I actually left that dump and came to my favorite breakfast place in Schaumburg the wildberry way better food and Excellent service so if you guys want good service this is NOT the place take it from me long time ex customer .

Im sitting in this restaurant right now. Our server, from Bulgaria, was very pleasant. She will get a 20 percent tip. Other than that bright moment, this place is a let down. We chose a seemingly upscale place for breakfast because we like our food cooked to a standard higher than McDonalds. Frankly, all I wanted was something not from a box. I thought that the veggie skillet might be a good choice. I asked if they make their hash browns themselves..... Nope, purchased frozen. Ok, pancakes? Nope, from a box. How about a baked potato? Again, no they dont have any. I settled for ribeye steak and a cheddar cheese omlet for $15.99 no potatoes but extra rye toast. The eggs were flat and dry. Clearly poured from a bottle. The cheddar cheese was a single presliced, packaged....... something. You could see the edges clearly outlined. And just one slice. Maybe just as well. They charged me an extra $1.49 for the extra toast and it was white toast instead of rye. Enough said, I think.

After seeing that a somewhat nearby pancake house called "Burnt Toast" somehow managed to get a four star review and Egg Harbor only ranked .2 stars higher I realized that the world is an even more unjust place than I ever knew. Egg Harbor, home of absolutely delicious breakfasts and savoury hot chocolate, is apparently only slightly better than Burnt Toast, home of stale bread for French Toast and excuses for pancakes. This is a shame that mankind could come to believe that Burnt Toast could be compared to any even somewhat decent eatery of the breakfast/lunch (or brunch) variety. If you want good breakfast, go to a supermarket and get what you need there. Breakfast at home will always be better than anything they could ever make at Burnt Toast. If there were an option to give a review with zero stars, this would unquestionably be place to do so.

Never in my entire life have I ever been to a restaurant that served basted eggs and passed them off as "over" anything. When my wife and I go out for breakfast she usually orders over easy and I order over medium. Granted sometimes we look at each other and wonder which one is actually over easy and which is over medium, but we have NEVER been served basted eggs like they do here. We asked the server to remake our eggs and she said thats just how we do it here. I cant believe this restaurant cant even find a cook to flip some eggs in a pan that they have to make all the eggs on the grill. And please dont get me started on some of there ridiculous prices like $2.75 for coffee. This place is a disgrace to all the other Greek restaurants out there. Save yourself the time and money.

I was in town last weekend for a hockey tournament and we stopped by after our game for a late breakfast. Honestly, it might have been the best breakfast Ive ever had. Im not a breakfast fan and Im definitely not a French toast fan, but when I read that they were famous for French toast, I had to try it. It was amazing! I had a chat with the waitress, who was very friendly and attentive. She said that the chef/owner was very strict, baked the bread himself and often had empty shelves/reefers because he only used fresh ingredients. It definitely showed in the food. Id go 40 miles out of my way to have breakfast there again.

I would normally rate them higher but we were seated without being asked by the hostess if our entire party was there. My father was joining us but not there when seated. We were told, after being served our coffee and juice, that we needed to order right away or go back to wait to be seated again when he arrived. We left!! If thats your rule then the hostess should be asking that when she takes the names! I was not going to be rushed into ordering before everyone was there, we go to have a relaxing enjoyable breakfast together, not to be rushed so you can get us out quicker. Rude!!

My toddler son has food allergies to milk and eggs. So when family decided to get there for a birthday brunch I was hesitant. However, the staff was amazing and so accommodating! We ordered the chicken strips off the kids menu. They noted his allergies and asked the kitchen how it was prepared. They told me that his food would be prepared separately so their would be no chance of cross contamination. He did not have a reaction and ate his meal! The food ordered was delicious and the service was impressive. I would highly recommend this place! :)
