It was a nice place. But it was pricey for not including breakfast. compared to niagara on the lake. The rooms need updating and the carpet could have been cleaner not so clean carpet. The lobby was beautiful but I wasnt sleeping in the lobby. I gave it four stars only because it was very peaceful in the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the linens were pristeen. If your going to charge that for a room you need To add something complementary beside just coffee. I know there was a fifteen dollar gift card for breakfast and breakfast was amazing, that it went towards but like some of the treats in the room could have been less or complementary. Just something for you to note.

Food was absolutely fantastic and David our waitor was socialable and down right entertaining. The crab cakes were light, fresh, and loaded with crab. When I asked David about the best thing on the menu, without hesitation, he said the 12oz Delmonico. Once ordered, he was absolutely correct. Thanks steak was well marbled and flawlessly cooked. The house steakhouse was underwhelming and had a watered down ketchup taste to it, but fortunately I never use the stuff anyway. But I highly suggest using that truffle butter! The meal was ended with a creme brulee which admittedly was a bit overcooked, but overall it was a fantastic birthday experience for my girlfriend and myself.

My wife and I stayed for a few days on our honeymoon, and we loved it. Its nearby downtown Lake Geneva, so theres plenty of access to shopping. The room we stayed in had a beautiful view of the frozen lake, and large windows to enjoy it through. The room was furnished very well, and the in-room tub was very relaxing. The tv is in a cabinet that you cant see from the tub, so if you want to enjoy a movie youd have to turn the cabinet to face the right direction. The service was very friendly, and very professional. The restaurant was also a nice upscale treat, even if the menu was a little short. The Geneva Inn was well worth the stay.

Our party of four dined on the patio at noon on a weekday. The hostess made it clear that the menu was more limited on the patio. The menu was extensive enough with appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and burgers. Frozen drinks appeared to be a specialty. Two of us had veggie burgers (good) and two of us had burgers with asparagus, avocado, etc on them. Also good but the patties were unremarkable besides being thin. The buns and chips were tasty. We all enjoyed a blue lemonade drink special. Our service was fantastic. After lunch, we easily found our way to the walking trail and enjoyed the rest of our afternoon.

My husband and I came here for a quick mini-honeymoon this past weekend and had an excellent experience. The room was awesome: clean, updated but not overtly modern, spacious and had an amazing view of the lake from the balcony. The hotel staff were all very kind and friendly. The food and service in the restaurant was also, mostly, excellent. There were a few moments when a waiter might spend a bit too much time chatting with one table and not the others, but it was mostly harmless. Only once did I have to wait for something that I wish would have come out sooner. We will definitely be back.

The Inn was under renovation while we were there, so unfortunately the bar, restaurant, and what appeared to be the entire lake-facing side was closed off. The room was nice, we got it for an affordable price (most likely due to the off season), and it included a jacuzzi tub and complimentary breakfast (a tray of assorted items they brought to your room the night before), or a voucher to get breakfast at a local cafe. It felt a bit like a ghost town and the staff was nice but seemed bored. Overall it was nice considering the circumstances. I bet it will be gorgeous when renovations are complete.

The service was horrible. We were seated, established a friendly re pore with the waitress, and then ordered our drinks. The drinks came promptly, and we ordered a very simple appetizer, and soup and salad. I also asked for a little extra bread, for I knew it was good there. 40 minutes later, no refills on my ice tea, no bread, and the table over from us was being served their food. They were seated 15+ minutes after us, mind you. We got up and left after seeing this. The whole time while we were seated, our waitress was walking around us doing other things.

Omgosh!! I dont know if I could say enough good things about it. First & foremost, the staff is is soooo incredible. Kind, helpful, personable, accommodating... The Geneva In is quaint. Absolutely beautiful. I want to go back for a weekend getaway. The room was large with beautiful woodwork, whirlpool tub, a balcony with wicker chairs, wing back chairs in the room and extremely comfortable beds & pillows. It felt like home. I dont have anything bad to say. Just... I cant wait to go back!!

We had a wonderful experience at the Geneva Inn. The grounds and lobby area are lovely. The room was clean and well kept. Our rooms furnishings were a little dated but there were some extra perks that you dont get at every hotel. The room had a nice soaking jetted tub, robes, plenty of counter space at the wet bar, and even chocolates by the bed. We didnt interact much with the staff but when we did, everyone was kind and helpful. All in all, we would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I where given a weekend here as an anniversary gift. The rooms are very charming and have a lot of character. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on in a hotel. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant inside the hotel is very nice but a bit pricey and the choices are limited. The Inn sits on part of the 20-something mile walk around Lake Geneva which we found extremely enjoyable.

Nice hotel, beautiful rooms/views, and comfortable beds. The one person plastic shower isnt something we expected to find in a 4 star hotel, maybe a super 8. We were very disapointed that there was no room service after dinner service especially since there isnt anywhere to order from in the area. Front desk staff wasnt on par considering the very high price for a room. All in all this hotel is very overpriced.

Ive been here twice, once as a guest and another just to eat while checking out their new renovations. The redesigned restaurant is a nice modern touch and has a beautiful view of Lake Geneva! if you are staying there I highly recommend getting a suite with a view of the lake! Each room has its own mini patio perfect for having your morning coffee and enjoying the sun coming up!

Quiet place. Very beautiful and upscale. Management seems to be looking to cater to older crouds. Could have used some music by the patio playing. An exterior bar for boaters and some music to watch the sunset, maybe some staff to serve appetizers outside. I would re visit and try the restaurant, but wasnt impressed with the,"Old timer vibe," we felt.

It was a lovely place. As a native to lake geneva my new husband and I wanted a place out of all the bussle of tourist and a nice quiet honeymoon. We got that and more. The hotel is beautifully decorated and pretty. Its right on the lake and sitting on our private balcony with my coffee in the morning was simply devine. I would very much recommend!
