One of the few weird 5 star reviews Ive done. This place has the most addicting chips and salsa. They are handmade/fried and are amazing. Do not ask for more you will fill up on them. Other items are equally good. However be sure to know that this place is small, as in 12 foot wide but deep restaurant size. Seating is also limited, consider trying this place on off hours first, then work into doing the take out service, as many locals do. I wish this place would do fried ice cream- its on the menu, but never available.

Ive been going here for over ten years. The family that owns and operates it are wonderful people. Everything is homemade and delicious, all the meats are chopped by hand. Hands down the best Mexican food in the northwest suburbs. Ive been to so many different Mexican restaurants and nothing even comes close to this place. Most importantly it has a very clean kitchen, everything is extremely sanitary, unlike most Mexican restaurants. You will not be disappointed, this place is amazing!

It is a small quaint place, however as the saying goes, "never judge a book by its cover". The outside of this Mexican restaurant has the food that packs a punch! Amazing authentic food if you need a quick fix. Took us 20 mins to get here, but worth it since we dont have a great spot close to home. Try it, dont pass it up!

I almost dont feel like writing a review about this place for fear that my secret awesome shrimp taco fix will be crowded. Alas I decided it may be in my best interest to support small businesses that make darn good food. Highly recommend the shrimps and fish tacos!!!

Consistently good Mexican food. Usually I just grab tacos: steak or chicken. Only 2 salsas to choose from, but both flavorful. Would like something spicier personally. If Im changing things up, I get shrimp tacos - not always in the mood but theyre the best Ive eaten.

ALWAYS ALWAYS friendly and good service! The beef tacos are good and the chicken tacos are the best that Ive had in the Northwest suburbs. Enchiladas are really good too. Salsas are perfect with the spicier red my favorite. We come here weekly!

Wasnt bad for the burbs. The steak in the burritos and tacos are chopped and not ground, which is the way its supposed to be. Its also not fatty. My only issue its the quality of steak, I can tell they use cheaper quality steak. But not bad.

One of the best authentic Mexican joints in Crystal Lake! Its an easy to miss little whole in the wall, but you will not be disappointed. The prices are low, the food is excellent, and they bring you chips and salsa right when you sit down.

If you are after really authentic taqueria food, this is the place. While the food isnt fancy, it is tasty. Tacos and burritos are available with a variety of meats: chicken (good), carne asada, pork and lengua. Others items available.
