Ive got to say I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. It ended up being an accidental restaurant week visit. We initially just made our reservations in order to try out something different for dinner. The servers were pretty friendly and though Im not a huge fan of the white paint on brick scheme, the place does feel quite open despite being on the smaller side. My first course was the aranchini they were crispy and soft on the inside. The sauce was slightly spicy and it had the perfect balance of acid and richness. The second course was the fluke. I thought it was very well cooked. the fish was light and flaky and went well with the earthy cauliflower. The dessert was one that was a bit mind boggling for me. I loved that I couldnt put my finger on what was anything in the desert waffle yet it was fantastic.

My sister and I came here the first week it opened - we laughed because well wake up on a cold, snowy, January morning to walk 6 blocks just to check out a new restaurant, but wont wake up to go to the gym thats less than 2 blocks away. We had the waffles and their breakfast sandwich, as it was one of the first mornings they were open it took a while to get the food out. They offered us bacon as an apology - we forgave them. We definitely werent disappointed and its only gotten better since (especially since they now have a patio during warm weather). The menu has expanded, the Coffee is delicious, and they have a steady stream of customers in an out. I hope this place sticks around. Its a wonderful addition to the neighborhood.

The Winchester has been getting most of its hype from its brunch but give it a whirl for dinner. Rustic vibes with attentive hipster servers. The food is so yum and there are good options for light bites (the popped grains on the garden salad look like mini popped quinoa, taste like popcorn, and give a nice extra crunch to the salad) and heavier meals like the chicken thigh and spaghetti and meatballs. I recommend the spaghetti squash stirfry for a thai inspired meal that is light enough to allow for some dessert after.

I just enjoyed a delicious dinner here with my boyfriend for our anniversary. Both of our entrees were excellent, and the mussels are a must try. Their list of cocktails were unique and quite tasty. Well be back to try out their brunch menu. The owner greeted us upon arrival and made sure our experience was perfect. The waitstaff were very pleasant and attentive, and concluded our meal with complimentary glasses of champagne! I would highly recommend this place. Its a real gem.

This place is one of my neighborhood favorites. My friends and I love going here for wine Wednesday. Its also a really great date spot. It has a homey rustic feel on the inside and beautiful trees for a semi-secluded patio feel. The menu changes with the seasons and so do my favorites. The servers know their stuff so ask for a recommendation. They can accommodate a gluten sensitivity, but I wish they had more gluten-free and vegan options that werent salads.

The Winchester was a big win for us last night! We threw a surprise party here for our colleague. The staff answered all of my questions during the planning stages and was attentive throughout the evening. Everyone was positively raving about the ambiance, the food and presentation, the wine, and the service. I was so happy to hear how happy my colleagues were with the restaurant choice (especially since they are all architects and foodies).

Absolutely wonderful food and wait staff. Boyfriend and I went for breakfast as soon as they opened - and they were playing late 90s/early 2000s pop and hip-hop! Had me dancing in my seat and eating the breakfast potatoes. I live about an hour away but I would hands down travel back and plan to very soon! Locally sourced food, space is drenched in light, and they have a cute patio area to eat outside.

They had a chef change this past January and its just not all that it used to be. Food isnt as nuanced, heavily over seasoned. Some cocktails are just undrinkable, loaded up with bitters and little else. The service which used to just be relaxed and casual is now downright inattentive, making way too many mistakes like forgetting orders and messing up billing. Hoping it returns to its former glory

Stayed here for a wedding. I was super impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the customer service from hotel employees. Requested a quite room and they accommodated my request with no issue. Had a great corner room with beautiful view. Really happy with my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Nothing exciting, even though the decor tries to be. Rude waitstaff. And horrible service. We didnt even get what we ordered. Had to change it. Food was subpar. Theres so many other restaurants that are better in the neighborhood. Maybe try and live up to the competition Winchester. Wont be coming back.

The Winchester is so cute and bright inside. Went in for brunch and ordered an avocado toast and the Croque Winchester. I know the cost of avocados have gone up recently but $10.50 for my avocado toast with egg was very pricey. Everything was good but I would definitely pass on that dish next time.

Service was good, its a very nice place, but the food isnt that good and the portions are tiny. The burrata comes with lactal bread and no olive oil, and the fish of the day was good, but there were only 5 sashimi sized pieces. Had higher expectatios for this place.

The food was great and our server, Connor, was even.better. Tried the kale salad, octopus orzo salad, both were good. The entrees were great. Had the the pork shank and my sister had the salmon. Really enjoyed both dishes. Nice clean ambiance. Will return.

My second time to this cute and classy spot in Chicago. Great cocktails and very tasty farm to table cuisine. Easy for sharing. Very well priced and a very nice change from the more touristy and pricey options around Randolph and the Mile.

We did a private party. It was amazing. The staff are all super chill and accommodating to our craziness. The food was simple and delicious. That thyme vinaigrette was simply heaven in my mouth. Thanks for being rad!!!!

Very good service. Very nice and beautiful place to visit. The dinner is overpriced with tiny portions. The food is Mediocre Italian style. Average Tastes. The breakfast is very nice though. You have to stop by.

Great breakfast & lunch place with impressive plans to be more. The kitchen takes a farm-to-table approach and the baristas are excellent. Very excited to have such a great spot in the neighbourhood.

Delicious, frequently changing, foodie friendly menu. Nice, knowledgeable hostesses. Such a cool calm ambiance inside with plenty of outdoor seating too. Always a great choice!
