Yes, the place has pretty good food. But, I have been here 4 times now and there are just a few things I cannot look past. Number one, the price. Even for an upscale italian place in the city, the price is just too high FOR WHAT YOU GET. Too many times my entree has come out looking half full, chicken parmesean doesnt come with pasta, yadda yadda yadda, you get the point. Place is expensive! Second, I have been crammed into seating on a couple of occassions as the place gets busy and they have the tables practically on top of each other. Last, although it has a great atmosphere, the demographics in Roscoe Village attracts young couples and their babies, which is about the last thing you want to be seated next to on your Saturday night at a nice restaraunt! Good food, but too many better options in the city.

The evening began well. Our server was attentive, the food, although overpriced. was tasty. It ended there. After we had informed our server that we would only be having coffee not dessert, the host came over to our table and asked us to leave because others were waiting. We looked at the time and thought perhaps we were sitting there too long. It had only been 1 hour and 15 minutes! When we became upset he offered us a small crowded table in the bar. This was not going to be comfortable for 6 adults, 2 in their 70s. He did not budge and told us that was our choice. We have dined out at many places all over the world in all price ranges and have never been asked to leave a table. None of us will return.

Muy mal servicio la comida está deliciosa pero el servicio está pecimo el mesero le deja todo el trabajo al basboi yego la comida y no teníamos platos para servirnos compramos 2 botellas de vino Blanco nosotros lo teníamos q estar sirviéndolo por q no avía kier lo estuviera sirviendo... real mente lo mejor fue la comida.

I live across the street and ordered takeout the other night. Not only did it take forever (when they werent that busy), but when we got home with our food, they had actually given us someones packaged LEFT OVERS instead of one of our dishes. When we went back to get the right order, they could not have cared less that they tried to charge us $16 for someones half eaten ravioli. Everyone makes mistakes, but some empathy and retribution would have been nice. Oh, and their actual prices are significantly hirer than what they advertise online. Its a shame, so convenient and actually good food, but definitely needs some new management.

I clicked on "Dine-in" for menu. As a result, there be no way that I could read what pizza difference there be, versus if I chose delivery. I not be obligated to call, for the answer. Customers are not obligated to call. I chose to call, to ask, how concerned ( if at all) the one who answer. About the website condition I found: during my "Dine-in" for menu search: "website page not available." As expected from the one of this business whom answered:, no concern. "You can come on over, if you want.~" Was replied to me. As there are customers who are not accessible.

If youre looking for an authentic Italian experience, youll really get it here...but not in a good way. My wife and I waited at least 30 minhtes for our waiter to even acknowledge our presence, and then waited forever for our food. We felt like we were being held captive! It may be a nice place to spend an entire evening with friends on the patio, but not if youre expecting to get in and out in a decent amount of time.

moved into the hood and was looking forward to trying this place out. booooo. the crust on this pizza tastes like the kind of crust that someone whos never had pizza would make. in the city of chicago, where great pizza is part of the landscape, this place is a rare dry patch. dont be charmed by its good looks. theres better pizza in your grocers freezer...

I cant say enough good things about this place. Ive dined here twice and both times I was impressed. I tried 2 different seafood and pasta dishes both which were specials recommended by our server. Out of all the Roscoe Village restaurants I think youll get the best value for your money at Piazza Bella.

The food is sublime, and the people that work there really becomes your friends with every time you go there. Even though it is a little bit pricey, it is worth it. It has this calm atmosphere, you wont regret comming in. A great place for a familly outing.

Ambiance and lighting are very welcoming when you walk in. Ive never had a bad time at this location. Food has not disappointed and service was always friendly. Been here on multiple dates and I recommended this spot to others for the same.

Piazza Bella is an authentic Italian restaurant that is good for the whole family. It is always very clean, however, it can take a while to be served. All of the special pasta dishes are authentic and the deserts are good.

This place looked like a nice date spot. Unfortunately, the food was bad. The chicken parmigiana was on par with a typical school cafeteria and the gnocchi was heavy. Service was friendly and attentive.

Calzone!! I love calzones and they are surprisingly hard to find in the city! Had a great one with pineapple, onion and broccoli! Nice wine list and a cute neighborhood Italian spot.

Good food! Great service! Nice ambience. Staff is friendly, bussers to bar. Favorite is bartender paulina. Food is authentic and delicious. rotolo is divine. Bravo. Patio is lovely.

Its like little Italy in Roscoe Village. Love, love, love it. My favorites are the Mozzarella alla moda caprese and the Fusilli alla Mimi. Fantastico!
