I have a lot to say about this restaurant. So please bear with me. First stop I probably eat more sushi for a week then probably a lot of other people in Chicago. I have pretty much tried all the best and upcoming sushi restaurants in the city. So I think I can definitely write something that Worthy. I dont know if they were having a bad night or not, their service that night was the worst service Ive ever gotten in my life. Im not exaggerating. Their food was decent just wish it was less oily like it should be. But other than that it was decent. But oh my goodness the service was so terrible. That it wasnt even funny. Example the server cab rolling her eyes, she kept asking and very aggressively grabbing the glass of water even though it was full, she kept grabbing the plates like shes trying to like strangle or something. And not to mention when we she was placing the plate she was not doing it gently she was very aggressive with it. And the most important mistake of all they forgot my food.

After hearing my friends ranting and raving about this place, I finally was able to try it when I visited Chicago!! This place is pretty small but it is quaint and cozy. Our server was very friendly and patient with us. We all decided to go with the all-u-can-eat sushi special, which I highly recommend. The deal is about $18.99 and you definitely get your bang for your buck. Here are some of my favs: 1) spider roll 2) green dragon roll 3) shrimp tempura roll 4) potstickers 5) kara age (fried chicken) 6) shiu mai 7) tamago nigiri 8) salmon nigiri It might sound a bit pricey but if you can eat a lot or at least two or three rolls, you definitely will get your moneys worth! We stayed for about 2 hours chatting and allowing ourselves to digest before going back for more. The service was awesome and everything came out pretty quick! We never felt rushed or were made to feel guilty for asking for more food. If you cant make it to this location, there are others in the city as well! Check it out!

I go there several times, and heres my qualm about this place... The food is fine, price is fine, decor and all that I dont have issue with. But some of the waitresses (I believe there were like one or two of them) that really ruined my eating experience. What I mean is... Dont come by and try to put pressure on me. Like, let me enjoy my food at my pace, have a good time, then go. That doesnt mean Im going to be a turtle and take forever; Ill go when Im ready. But for some of these waitresses to literally come by my area 5 seconds I just swallowed my last sushi with the check basically giving me the impression of "get out of here" isnt cool at all. Its not professional, its rude, and it doesnt make for a good customer experience. AND I went at a time when there werent as many customers (like off-peak hours) so there was no reason to get that kind of reception. Other times people were fine, but even the actions of those few people can ruin a restaurants reputation.

This is my first time writing a review. This is the second time I went there. In both times me and my friends had all you can eat sushi. The nigiri is not that good I would give it 5 out of 10 since the quality of the fish they use is not that great, but when you order the maki the fish taste blend with other ingredients so it come out decent enough so I give the maki 6.5 out of 10. The staff is good and friendly enough, the place is clean and the bathroom also is clean. And the general atmosphere is pretty welcoming. The location is a little bit far away from downtown but it worth the trip for a place where you can have all you can eat sushi. Price wise you can have all you can eat sushi for 20 bucks of course plus taxes which is good. The best roll this place has is Boston rolls.

Our server was polite but the other servers literally slammed the plates down on the table and messed up our orders a few times. They lost my credit card and basically denied losing it, rushed me to pay with another card and suggested I call my bank. Me and my party insisted that we all saw my card go into the sleeve and were shocked at how blasé they were about it. Only tiny hint of customer service was when they seemed to realize we were serious after we insisted they lost it. I dont often write reviews but this deserved a low one for abysmally bad customer service. Go to Kameya down the street (near Webster and Halsted) if you want much better Japanese food, environment, and customer service at the same price in LP.

When my friend and I entered the establishment at 8:30p we were greeted, however we were made aware right away that the kitchen closed at 9:00 even though their hours were until 9:30. The hostess/waitress insisted that we eat the sushi bar when there was multiple tables available. The decor was lacking, but it is what it is. The food was fine, but the service was BAD! They were borderline rude and one girl gave us our plate without looking at us and without saying one word. I dont know if we just came on a bad night or what, but Im not eating there again and I would not suggest it to anyone.

4 for sushi, 0-1 star for customer service You may have there good fresh sushi if you do not care about terrible customer service. You have to stop waiters and asking for anything you need, especially when ordering buffet - they keep ignoring your next orders. Make sure to remind waiter to bring each order on separate plate with what you got on your name. If not asking then they bring everything on one plate as big mess, and are not bothering to explain what fish is where... until you like somebody is eating sushi you ordered and you eat what you did not :)

Main Server is a no good for this business . She is a young Asian girl that has the worst attitude. She is so rude to Latinos. She should be removed. I will post this on all mine, family and friends social media pages. I have been here twice and she was here. The sushi was sitting on counter for more than 10 minutes and would look at us and was talking to the other girls instead of attending to us and her customer. The gringo sitting with us was treated fine.I will never come to this place again.

The staff and perfunctorily friendly. The restaurant is known for being BYOB and its AYCE sushi. However, even if your table only orders one large round of sushi, should you not finish nearly-every item on the tray you will be threatened with an additional per-sushi charge which is often determined arbitrarily by the staff. Sometimes they dismiss the threat of the charge if you make an extra effort to stuff yourselves. It all depends on the staff person who is confronting you.

Love how their all you can eat concept goes. Not bad for Japanese food, however it takes a long time for them to bring out the meal. Overall service is satisfactory, it can be rarely expected that a waiter would serve you in a friendly manner, and they do not check back on you much whenever you need anything. This is based on a couple experiences, hopefully this has improved. Their sushis what urges me to come back, excellent spicy salmon roll.
