This dimly lit BYOB is a popular sushi spot with a real neighborhood feel. Ive only been on Monday nights where its all-you-can-eat for $20. The all-you-can-eat menu includes soups, apps, makis, and a wide variety of rolls including a few special roll options. Be careful not to order more than you can eat. They will charge you for food left on your plate. The plate presentations are always beautifully displayed. Between the Monday deal and the nominal corkage fee, its a great value for good quality sushi. I believe they also advertise with coupons quite a bit; although they arent accepted for the Monday night special. A word to the wise is to be cautious with your alcohol consumption here. They tend to project some very avant-garde videos on the wall; which can have you feeling like youve landed somewhere in Alices Wonderland. Dont get me wrong, that can be fun but it can also be a recipe for the spins and getting sick after sushi is a real downer!

The food is excellent quality and fresh--about a 4.5. The waitress we had (new) was very polite and attentive. The ambience, unfortunately, is another matter. For wall decor, they have cheap little saki ads, the floor badly needed redoing (or painting), and there were several flies we fought off. And the music was some Japanese high pitched girls--sounded like a bad version of Alvin and the Chipmunks with a raucous disco beat that made me want to finish my food as quickly as possible and leave. The air conditioner broke down while we were there and it became very warm inside--not their fault I suppose. If they were to put up a few nice posters with frames, redo the floors, and put on some classy music, the place would improve immeasurably and come up to the high quality of their food.

I very much recommend the all you can eat sushi for $22.50 (or something like that). The menu says you need the internet coupon for the special price but its not true. They all you can eat menu doesnt have anything super exotic or fancy but (mostly tuna and salmon), nonetheless, its still good. We stuffed our faces and left with a smile. Mission accomplished! The service is super friendly and fast and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing.

My boyfriend and I bought a groupon for Ringo Sushi and had a good experience dining here. We were seated right by the door but it was surprisingly cozy and quiet. The first item I ordered was miso soup. It was warm and full of flavor. Then we ordered 3 different sushi rolls that had a very nice presentation. The sauces on top of the sushi were delicious and made the sushi taste even better. Overall, I had a good evening full of great food.

Typical sushi bar. It doesnt stand out from the hundreds of other sushi places in the city. The food, ambiance and service is mediocre. The waitress was nice but messed up a vegetarian order. Also, a large group was there when I dined, so the atmosphere got rather loud. I came here with a Groupon and I dont think Ill be back, as it is quite overpriced for the quality. Spend a couple of dollars more and go to a higher end sushi bar.

Ringo is a BYOB sushi restaurant that requires reservations, at least at night. I went with a Groupon for a 3 course meal with my girlfriend, which including two rolls of our choice, an appetizer each, and miso soup for both of us. We did not know about the reservations and just showed up, but since there were only two of us, they provided us with a seat. It was great service and the sushi is to die for. Its a great place to eat!

I had been to Ringo previously and had good past experiences. However I recently dined at Ringo and the food was just awful. The tuna was...rubbery and couldnt not have been defined as "actual" Tuna. Enjoyed the BYOB, but not worth the aftertaste. They must be cheeping out of the ingredients, because quality is seriously declining. Wont be back.

The sushi there is absolutely incredible. You have to do the all you can eat special that they offer. For a mere $22 you can get a whole variety of rolls and nigeri. The ladies who work there are very nice as well as the owner who I had met one evening. I definitely recommend it to any sushi fanatics out there.

I have eaten here at least tree times and have yet to have a bad experience. Food can be a pit pricy, but Ive always been happy. It is true that the atmosphere is a bit weird. Kinda wish they didnt have the television projected on to one of the walls.

RIngos has great groupons and an enjoyable time to be had at their restaurant. Always have enjoyed the food there. They have large projectors which take away form the personal feel of the restaurant but the servers are all great.

Pretty solid BYOB sushi joint. Its been around for a while and in LP you cant beat it. Prices are great and the sushi is darn good. Great place to do w/friends before a nice night out on the town. Definitely worth trying.

Come here on Monday nights for the all-you-can eat sushi. One of the great, high quality sushi joints with cheap wine and also BYOB. Always a great place to start your night before heading to the other bars in the area.

I was never able to make it through the door the one and only time I tried to dine here. I made a reservation only to be told they were closing and I could be seated when I arrived with my guests.

The sushi is great, and we went with a big group. They were very accommodating and made our stay really great for a birthday party. The bill was about what I had expected too.

Weak. Rolls were pricy, small, and weird. Service was slow, and didnt want to be there. Besides location, this place has nothing going for it.

This was the worst Japanese food I have ever eaten. Everything was extremely low quality and some of the sushi was inedible. Avoid at all costs.
