Pretty good still, however, they used to have the best potstickers, now just plain. like they stopped making them from scratch, and just order the exact same ones I get from the Chinese market. Typical brown egg rolls stuffed with mush. Pork Lo mein was excellent. Also ALERT! DO NOT ORDER THE MONGOLIAN BEEF! Completely inexcusable. They add tons of large slices of Green peppers, and huge cuts of yellow onion. No scallions to be seen, and flavorless soggy beef. Very disappointing. This is not Mongolian beef that everyone, and I do mean everyone expects. My girlfriend is the disappointed one because she cannot eat nightshades. Damn, there goes my night. :)

So this place has delicious food but we have tried to get salt and pepper beef short ribs several times and years ago when we lived in Rogers park it was never a problem. I understand places that specialize in particular types of food and run out, you have to plan to go early. But they run out for days at a time and it doesnt seem to make any sense. Very annoyed. I wish they were more on top of that.

When I want Chinese food, I go to China Ling. They have the best egg rolls and the best pot stickers. I love their orange chicken, and they cook the soy sauce into their fried rice. Their quality is consistent, and their prices are competitive. There can be a language barrier at times, but its a small price to pay for such a fantastic restaurant. Give them a call!

This restaurant can be better. I got food today and I asked for combination plates and got a messed up order. The rice was not fully cooked. prices are kind of high and they charged me way extra for beef fried rice which had way too much soy sauce. We got stomach aches from the food. I wont be eating food from here again & wont recommend it to anyone

First time I ate Chinaling’s delicious food at my friend’s party; then I became Chingling’s loyal customer. The food is affordable and served with large portions. I especially like the Orange Chicken and the Wonton soup, very tasty. My daughter likes their Mango and Pineapple smoothies so much.

Do NOT get the Mongolian beef. They literally put in slices of a WHOLE green pepper, with HEAPS of onion, with FLAVORLESS slivers of beef! Definitely the most disappointing Mongolian beef order Ive ever made in my life.
