I would not recommend eating here, or ordering delivery from them at the very least. I placed an order through GrubHub for $50+ meal. GrubHub notified me it would take about an hour but the delivery actually arrived late by 15 minutes. The driver had called me at the time it was supposed to arrive and let me know there was traffic which I understand but I wouldve expected that their time estimate would reflect this. I also expected the driver to call me before the time he was supposed to arrive. Later when he delivered the food to my door, he even asked for a tip. The other issue with my order was that it didnt taste as flavorful as the other MingHin Cuisine restaurants. There was also a thick, curly, black hair in my shu mai order! I wasnt sure where the hair was from given its appearance but I ended up feeling a bit wary about eating the rest of the shu mai along with the other foods I ordered which is unfortunate...

This location is next to my work, so I tend to go to this location most frequently. I have also eaten at the Chinatown location and I have had carry out from the Naperville location. I love the food from all of the locations; however, the E Benton Place location is my preferred location. They always get my main dish the way I want it (extra spicy), which is not always the case at the Chinatown location. Every location gets my dim sum perfect and I feel the service is always good. Personally, the people who work at the Benton location are my favorite because they are very friendly, personable, and I have never had a bad experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious made to order dim sum. I dont have the opportunity to get dim sum near me so I love seeking it out while traveling. This place has a excellent picture menu that makes knowing what your getting easy. Though I have had slightly crispier and stronger flavored duck theirs was still a must have and done very well. The "Order" of hot and sour soup was big enough to make 2 bowls for 4 people. It tasted like they made it from scratch for us and was very tasty. The dim sum is a little more expensive compared to the lunch time service in china town, though this is made to order.

I went there by coincidence, hungry with low expectations. But I was wowed with their good service and food. First weve offered a complementary Jasmin tea, which tastes great. Then they have big selection of small plates that all look yummy. But we ordered two main dishes, sweet and sour shrimp fried to perfection, and peking duck which came in three plates to my surprise. The portions were good enough and weve also got gingersnap cookies beside the fortune cookies. Great experience I would definitely go there again

For the longest time, Ive sworn off dim sum, but this place changed it for me. This place is very clean, and the service is impeccable, which is very uncommon for Chinese eatery. The serve everything a typical dim sum would, but you order from a menu instead. There arent any old ladies pushing cart and haggling you and pushing you into ordering more food. I love the easy feeling of this restaurant, and the fancy decor. The manager is super friendly. I highly recommend this place for all dim sum lover

This is the dim-sum authority of Chicago. The food is great, and they have a happy hour deal! (20% your bill on weekdays 2:30pm thru 5:00pm) Recently, I had a strange experience. One of the staff treated me as if I had never been to dim sum, laughed at my pronunciation of Cantonese words, and gawked at my credit card when he saw my Asian name. As a half-asian guy, I am more sensitive to this, so I understand that not everyone thinks carefully about their actions. Next time... I might not be as nice.

Terrific food - very conveniently located downtown. It is on the 4th floor of the mall. We did not need to wait very long at lunchtime to be seated. The dishes looked and tasted freshly prepared. It was also very quick. The waitstaff were very fast and made sure to clear away the table immediately. The menu selection seemed a little bit different from the original location in Chinatown - maybe to serve patrons faster. It had all of the usual favorites for a dim sum restaurant.

Not as wide of a menu as their other locations, but it has all the wonderful dim sum options. Best restaurant chain for dim sum the Chicago area. Cocktails were colorful and tasty well. The only thing that wasnt exceptional were the turnip cakes which were a bit too squishy. Plenty of other excellent options, so they wont be missed if you dont order them. The shrimp crepe and steamed custard buns are two of my favorites.

Service was poor. Waited an hour for food. Another table waited an hour and 20 minutes and left. They apologized but it was not a sincere apology. Also, be prepared to pay for refills on soda. The waitress gives us the bill but then takes it back saying that she forgot to charge for the refills. Unbelievable!! I guess the owner really wants the extra $4.50 versus wanting happy customers!

Get the shrimp egg rolls appetizer, they literally blew my mind. Great location right by Millenium Park and tucked away just off the main road. The food is pretty good, not the best Ive ever had. The staff are incredible though, very helpful and friendly. The interior is very pretty as well. I would definitely recommend coming in for dinner after a fun time over in Millenium Park.

Headed here for lunch with a friend. Waitress was so unbelievably rude it became a joke to us. The food was delicious but her attitude was so very SOUR. Answers were short and snide with facial expressions of disgust that we were even there. We observed her courteous smiles and comments to other customers. It was bizarre. Despite the food being wonderful I will never return.

Worst Chinese food Ive eaten in Chicago. Terrible service, the waiter asked us if regular size was fine, on saying yes we noticed a $3 markup for regular size. Its not the $3 that matters but the way it was done. It was with an intention to deciet. The food was the icing on the cake worse than the service (didnt think that was possible!!). Would never recommend this to anyone

If youre looking for dim sum in the Loop instead of heading to Chinatown, this place has an excellent selection! Dim sum comes out nice and hot. Recommended dishes: - Pork Siu Mai - Pot Stickers - Shredded Duck Vermicelli - BBQ Pork - Shrimp Dumplings Prices are on the higher side, but thats expected eating in the Loop. Great for lunch outings with your colleagues!

Prices are higher here than at the MingHin in Chinatown, but the amazing atmosphere and views from this location make it worth it. The place is very new and in a swanky part of town, and the food is authentic and top-notch. Waits are shorter here than at MingHin Chinatown as well, and parking is validated, so its really a fantastic place to eat.

Glad they opened up another one in downtown. The menu is different here compared with the one in the downtown location. Seems it misses some of the options in the Chinatown one. I ordered some dim sum and the food was good. Not sure if the strong smell coming out of the kitchen would have a negative effect on the surrounding property values...
