I ordered a cake for my daughters birthday and the experience was horrible. The fist thing was the order process . It took 2hrs !! The 2nd thing was the communication I was told they cant do my cake as I wanted so I basically asked what they could to and picked a design. My pick up was for 11am . The manager called at 10:45 and said we change the design to what you originally wanted is that ok ? I said sure . When I got ther the cake was so Horrible! The color was wrong the zebra print was horrible my daughter was so disappointed. And all they offered was 6 cupcakes . I waited for over an hour for the so called 11 am pick up and didnt leave til12:43. The cakes are good but the timing and service is very poor . Unfortunately I wont be going here . Going to try brown sugar bakery next time I have a lot of events coming up

Ordered a kids cake over a week in advance. I get a call the day before its supposed to be ready saying they wont have the kit I ordered. They then tell me it will be an edible graphic that will be imbedded in the cake. I go to pick the cake up yesterday and they laminated the graphic and sat it on top of the cake. I asked the person in charge why this was done this way and she said thats just how they decided to do it. I then explained to her that the right thing to do wouldve been to call me if they were going to deviate from what we agreed upon since, after all, I am the paying customer. She didnt understand that theory and ,needless to say, I was weary of this whole process. Customer service was below average at best.

Gorgeous well made cakes. Followed them since they were on cottage at their first location. They moved to Cicero they didnt get any business so they moved back on 87th. The front counter woman is very rude and even incompetent thats why I gave it four stars instead of five. The cakes themselves are great, I recommend giving exact directions of what u want and bring pictures in of similar cakes or whatever design u want. The front desk woman made it seem like if you dont bring in pictures your cake will be made any kind of way. Also service is fast.

They ruined my mothers birthday cake. The design looked nothing like the design I asked for. I would have been better off making a cake at home. I paid $150 for this cake and all they gave me back was $20. Everything on the cake was ugly from the top on down. I order cakes from them every year but I will never order another one from them ever again. They have fallen off tremendously over the years. Theyre very unprofessional and could care less whether their customers are satisfied or not.

A wonderful local bakery on Chicagos southside. A wide variety of freshly-baked cookies, cupcakes, and slices of cakes is available for immediate purchase. Designed-to-order cakes in every conceivable design are made here to high acclaim and praise! Patience may be required, occasionally, as there can be a line in the tiny public portion of the store. Steps away from public transport with adequate street parking. Very popular and really great-tasting cake!

I had a dessert reception for my wedding and they delivered to the venue at 730 pm which was really helpful that they could do it so late. The desserts themselves were excellent and they were able to accommodate some of the specific things that I wanted, i.e. pistachio fillings. The price I paid was very fair considering the quality of the desserts we received and Gayle called the next week to check and make sure everything went OK.

I just have to say that I was in need of a baby shower cake at the last minute (due to someone backing out on me 2 days before my daughters shower). The staff accommodated me the day before her shower with a beautiful cake. As of Saturday they will be getting all of my business. Very professional group of people. Thanks again.

Ive been using their services for the past 10 years and they are excellent! They take their time and the cake as well as the frosting is always excellent. I Love the staff especially Rachel and Ms.Darlene. I will never use another bakery, because I feel like Im cheating on them! Way to go Ladies!

I had order two cakes from them for my son, step daughter birthday. My cakes wasnt done when I came to pick them up. The lady at the front desks was unprofessional, the staff.. Was Ghetto, they doesnt care what they say around, to there customers.. They did a rush job on my cakes

This is a great bakery. They make the best sweet potato pies and yeast rolls for the holidays. I love their chocolate cake and cookies. I became quite addicted to the sugary sweets at this bakery. They are just that good. Did I mention the peach cobbler?.

I ordered a Thomas the Train cake at 11:30 a.m and they had it ready for me by 5. Gratitude was well received. Delicious pastries, they even had pictures of when they made my baby shower cake and my child is 4 years old. You cant go wrong with this choice!

Always get my cakes there, have followed them through 3 location changes. I always have some difficult, crazy cake & they exceed my expectations. Cakes are moist, fruit is fresh. They can replicate anything from a gift bag to a hand drawing.
