We booked this restaurant for our grandmothers 80th birthday. The restaurant has two banquet halls and we booked the smaller of the two. The problems started almost immediately. The temperature in the room was too high and multiple complaints did little to alieveit. It was almost 2 1/2 hours later, AFTER our guests had arrived, that the problem was fixed. The food was served an hour and a half late. We asked that dinner be served at 7, but werent served until 8:30. We were told flat out that they were going to serve another party first. This party, a quinceañera, started after ours. They were served beverages and hot food before our party while we had to contend with bread and butter. They even brought out the salad dressing a full hour before serving the salad, where I found a bug in my plate. I think the differing treatment had everything to do with race. The owners of Sky View are Hispanic and I felt they were more interested in assisting the guests of the quinceañera then they were my grandmothers party. When I went to the bathroom I noticed that most of the serving staff plus the managers were assisting at the quinceañera while we were left with just one guy serving drinks and bread and butter at our party. Despite all this my grandmother had a good time and Im happy she didnt notice how poor the service was, but I cannot under any circumstances recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you and your party members are Hispanic then you will be fine. They will treat you very well. But if you are of any other race you would be well advised to stay away, because you will not receive a comparable experience, no matter how much you pay.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Bad service, mediocre food, location is rundown pink 80s, dirty, ceiling tiles are black with dirt/smoke?, and management does nothing to make it a better experience for the local community. We have gone twice as we live in the community and want to support local restaurants. Both times we have gone, the waitstaff is slow, the food is mediocre, and slow to come out with the restaurant with only a handful of customers. This time the hostess ignored us when we walked in, after standing there waiting for like 3-5 minutes we had to ask if we just pick a table, the waitress took her time to get to us, the food took a long time to come out, and half of my husbands and my food was missing which we told the waitress. She never brought it, nor did she come back till we were done. When we told her to bring the bill and that she didnt bring us half our order she apologized and took 10 minutes to bring the bill( There were only 5 tables with customers). When she brought the bill, she told us she didnt charge the kids juices but they were free per the menu!!... so my husband goes to pay and talk to the manager. The manager pretty much ignored the issue after my husband and I explained why we shouldnt pay full price for our meal if only half is served. He charged full price, told us next time to tell him first before swipping our card. Wow!! never coming back. In no way do I blame the waitress, this is all on the manager!

This place is over priced for the quality of food that is provided. The Owner is a real piece of work rude rude rude. The wait staff is very curteous. Used to go here alot and the food was ok at best I have never been super impressed with any of the food here. Ordering different menu items hoping to find something i would like The chicken was decent fish undercooked, I found a wire bristle in my Montecristo sandwich and ordering the steak was a bad move. I thought I was chewing on a sole of a shoe. The menu offers a lot of selection but if the cooks cant make it doesnt help much. Stay clear of this place and its sister restaurant Jelly Jam also located in Berwyn.

Este lugar tiene un servicio de renta de espacios y es muy bueno, pues te ofrecen la comida, el servicio de meseros, te atienden y puedes aprovechar para organizar eventos. Lo mejor es que puedes negociar con el administrador el menú para adecuarlo a tu presupuesto. Me gusta!

The food was cold service was okay i guess. When i tried to tell the owner George about the food he acted as if he didnt care. i saw him treat his staff very poorely I dont know how this place is still in buisness the service was .. well i have gotten better the food for the price they have you can go buy better food somwhere else. I will never come back and I do not recomend this restaurant.

Stay away! Save your money!!! Horrible customer service, food is poor quality, coffee was cold. They push the buffet because the waitresses does not want to serve you and its good for business. We asked for more utensils and the old waitress gave us an attitude. This place and the horrible service ruined our Easter Sunday. Do the community a favor and close your doors.

We always pick up the cream of chicken soup and hot rolls on Sundays. The restaurant is usually very quiet then so its perfect if you dont like a lot of noise. Good and service are good for dining in. They also have a large banquet hall down the street for large parties.
