We went in Sunday for lunch after a short drive from our cabin in Sylva. Our big group of 10 was seated very quickly, with no problems. The server was more than helpful, and we had out drinks and food in a reasonable amount of time considering our parties size. I ordered the Patty Melt, which had lots of sauteed onions and melty American cheese. The rye bread was just crispy enough to stand up to the juicy meat and onions. The flavor of the rye bread was also right on point. Highly recommended! Other standout dishes were the chicken parmesan sub, and the spanakopita and Greek salad. The fries were your run of the mill standard fries. They were just a little under seasoned. Our only little complaint was having to wait in line to pay for our meal, but that wasnt anything close to a big deal. Great meal and service!

Normally Im wary of restaurants that appear to have culinary identity crises, such as this one alternating between italian, Greek and several other styles. But hey maybe the family are particularly good at specific food styles? Unfortunately no. While the staff are super nice. The servings are good. The food is ordinary at best. My gyro plate was made with frozen, pre cut meat strips heated on a griddle, mealy and unpleasant. I cant forgive this from a "greek restaurant"... For all i know their spaghetti sauce comes out of a can from restaurant depot as well? Really.. The people who run this place are lovely but shame for using frozen, industrially prepared primary ingredients that are lame.

After asking a local resident for a great place to eat dinner at they suggested Kostas. After receiving our salads we should have left... the dressing was straight up out of a bottle first bad sign in a Greek restaurant, the lettuce in our salad was so old it was translucent. once we received our food things did not get any better I had the Alaskan Whitefish with french fries the fish had absolutely no flavor and the fries had been kept under a heat lamp probably from lunch , and the flies ...... OMG there were more flies inside than outside.. the best part of the meal was the free rolls and butter. WE PAID $40.00 FOR ROLLS AND SWEET TEA

You know when you drive by a restaurant and it is packed, thats usually a good sign. This is a very good family eatery. It doesnt try to be fine dining, but has good food, relaxed feel, and friendly people. It is clear their specialty is Greek food, but they have a variety of options, including burgers, pastas, and sandwiches. I had the pastichio, a sort of Greek lasagna, and it was very good. All of the portions were very large. The dining room if large and there is a good sized patio that is heated in colder months. There is also a small store by the cash register that sells Greek specialties among other things. We will be back!

Im attracted to Greek-owned restaurants - in large part because the Greeks know how to run a restaurant - or diner - or whatever food outlet it may be. Started up with Saganaki and Calamari - both quite good. Surprisingly, I opted for the Gyro platter. it was good, but nothing spectacular. I yearn for the authentic rotisserie gyros with alternating lamb/beef - but alas, this place doesnt have those shavings. Son had burger, which he liked. Daughter had a nondescript chicken cesar. Like most Greek-run joints, this is a "pay at the exit" deal - so we did - and then we exited.

We stopped here after a long drive from Florida not knowing if this place would be any good but we were so hungry and still had an hour drive to our destination... This turned out to be the best place we ate at on our trip (and the best food I have had in years) the food was amazing. We got a little bit of everything from the menu .. Gyro,Shrimp,Spanakopita,Salad,Baklava... It was all good. And the staff was great too.

Food was amazing. I highly recommend the Hawaiian chicken sandwich or the smokey mountain burger. However I am giving it four stars and not five because we werent offered free bread when all the tables around us were. And the sweet tea was disappointing in taste. But the actually food was delicious!!!

average... basic diner. Seems to be a real popular place for older people, especially after church. Theres a ton of places in the vicinity that trump this place. service was good, food was average. prices are awfully high for the quality. $10 for chicken fingers and fries? yikes

Good food as always with one exception. Our granddaughter ordered fruit plate side. $3.95 waiter said it was pineapple and oranges was actually cantaloupe and oranges. 2 all slices each. Really not up to Kosttas standards they should reconsider this offering.

The gyro and fries are so delicious. We drive 1.5 hours just to enjoy this authentic Greek meal (we are Greek) away from home. Best weve found so far. The outdoor patio is heated and enclosed for the winter. Highly recommend it!

Awful. Got take out. Calimari rubbery and fishy. Spanakopita was refrigerator cold. Gyro platter was meh. Side salad was edible. Our order was carry out. 2 min drive. $30.05 wasted. Food in trash and we are still hungry.

We are three couples that go out to eat at least once a week. Decided to try Kostas. The service was fine, the facilities were average, but the food was dry. We all agreed that we wouldnt be going back.
