They always have pick up orders ready 10-15 after they say they will, and if you order a drink with your food you better remember to ask for it when you get there, because they forget mine every single time. The food isnt bad but definitely overpriced for the amount. Reliable service would make it worth I suppose but its inconsistent at best here.

Stopped in by chance. Welcoming atmosphere, nice staff, quaint with relaxing background music. Clean bathrooms too. And the food was terrific! Thier pancakes are a distinctivly different from the sugary cakes at most places, with thick cut bacon and free range eggs. You gotta try it!

Great place. We ride our bikes from Evanston four or five times a year, 84 miles round trip just to have breakfast there. Well we also like the ride west on Cuba Road. Very friendly help. Love the apple crepes. Food is excellent but that much better after a 47 mile peddle.

Best PANCAKES ever!!!!! Ive had pancakes at other breakfast places and they do not hold a "candle" to this restaurant. It doesnt cater to large groups, but bring a friend or two, and you will be awesomely surprised and go home with the feeling you had a great meal!!

Stopped here around 1:30pm on Sunday (they close at 2 on Sunday) after a long bike ride on the Fox Rivers trail. The food was great and the staff was very friendly. My wife and I really enjoyed the experience. I recommend it when near Algonquin or riding the trail.

Shorts stacks is good and clean with a cozy atmosphere. The servers are attentive and get the food out quickly. The coffee is good too. Bathroom is a little small, but thats understandable. The decor is also interesting.

Stop here for breakfast or brunch. Healthy choices, farm fresh eggs I mean the real ones free range, and also gluten free pancakes my kids love them. My personal favorite is Lukes special.

Better get to this place early. There is limited seating, but worth the wait. Besides pancakes they have skillets that are wonderful. I visited this fine establishment on a Sunday.
