Im not Mexican so i cant say that Im an expert on authentic Mexican food but I will say that I have eaten A LOT of authentic Mexican food and this doesnt compete with a single one of them. Maybe I came on a bad day or something but I completely disagree with the 4. whatever stars that this place was rated. I ordered my favorite. The steak torta with a horchata. When i opened the wrapper I saw a large clump of bread. I felt like I had a half loaf of bread that they filled with some steak, lettuce, tomato, avocado, a little cheese and a lot of mayonnaise. Yes I said Mayonnaise! Most places have sour cream instead of mayonnaise. I gave it to my dad to try and after one bite he threw up . Luckily that wasnt the case for me. However, I thought it was lacking flavor and the flavor that it did have was overshadowed by the loaf of tasteless bread. Furthermore, I tried the horchata and it was decent. I will say that the taste was better than most but i will also say that the bottom of my cup was filled with rice because the dispenser most likely should have been emptied and refilled. I will also say that the customer service was great and the place was clean which is why I gave 2 stars instead of one. But I am disappointed that the food wasnt up to par and that as a result, i will not allow myself to experience the customer service again anytime soon

Good food but super small place with everyone bumping into you and slow service. I called an order in and arrived 20mins later to wait another 25 for my food. This is unacceptable. Hopefully they change it soon cuz its losing them business. Update after going here two more times. Same stuff going on. Very disappointing! Slow service despite me ordering. I will order the food. 45 minutes ahead of time and still wait 25 to 30 minutes to pick up my food it is absolutely ridiculous and its pointless to order online or by phone from this place Update I love how good the tacos are here but again, I was here on 1/16 and we ordered food at 645 and got there at 730 and food was not ready until 8. All I got was a burrito and chips and salsa. Im surprised the owner has not addressed this issue with all the complaints! Update 3/1/16 The last two times I have been there they have forgotten some things. The first time they forgot my order of rice and a tamale and last night they almost forgot my chips and salsa but I went back in and she knew she forgot it, but charged me for it. This cant keep happening.

I MUST WRITE IN CAPS BECAUSE THE FOOD IS OUTSTANDING, I WENT IN TODAY 2/13/15 TO ORDER A TACO DINNER BUT THEN I SAW THEY SOLD THE CUBANO TORTA WHICH WAS USED IN THE MOVIE "CHEF" BRILLIANT MOVIE, BUT ANYWAYS THE CUBANO SANDWICH IS DELICIOUS, I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL!!! THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!! THANK YOU TACO DINER FOR THE FANTASTIC LUNCH EXPERIENCE!!!

Used to be 5 stars. Service has become unbelievably slow. Foods great, but waiting 25-30 min for an order to go, on multiple occasions, is inexcusable. Used to drive from Plainfield just for this place. No Mas. Update: I tried again. The food is worth it. The service only worsens. Waited in line for FIVE minutes without placing an order or even being acknowledged.

Seriously overrated. This is the "runny refried beans all the things" type of Mexican food that just is depressing and not very healthy or good. My wife isnt even from North America, and she instantly realized its not that great Mexican food. She didnt even know Mexico existed until 2014. I guess its better than Taco Bell *shrug*

The most authentic and quality Mexican food place in this area. It also has reasonable prices with appropriate serving size too. Its difficult to find an authentic ethnic food place out here. We have tried their chicken, steak, and pork all are delicious and consistent. They have two other locations just as delicious too. Try it!!!

I had the steak tacos. I ate on so the meal came with chips and salsa. The chips were warm and fresh. All the salsas were very good. The steak tacos were very good, a lot of flavor and tender. The people were great, friendly and explained the options. I will return if in the area.

Great food, SERVICE SUCKS! If you want to go to lunch at this place, better have at least an hour and a half, I ordered 4 TACOS and 30 min later they were barely making them! Never again for lunch.
