My husband and I visited Keystone Pizza on Monday of this week. We had worked a long day helping his father with his cattle and really looked forward to sitting down and enjoying some great food (my husband had been raving about Keystone for months and I had yet to try it out). It was late, about 9:00, but we looked it up and the hours stated it was open till 10:00, so naturally we go. By the time we got there it was 9:25, we entered to building and were greeted by the employee at the register and she proceeded to say that our order would need to be carry out because "the dining room closed at 9:30." Past tens. looked at my phone, noticing it was before 9:30, then checked the clock on the wall (giving her the benefit of the doubt, thinking that the clock may have been fast) but it said 9:25, just as my phone did. Now, I understand; Ive worked at restaurants in the past, when you start cleaning up shop you hope and pray that no one comes in before the dining room closes. But regardless of how you feel, if a customer comes in interested in purchases from the restaurant, you ought to let them do so, ESPECIALLY if they arrive before the closing time. I get that this is inconvenient, but it is also disrespectful to prematurely kick them out. This employee bent protocol to her will and it was not professional by any means. My husband and I were exhausted. We wanted to sit down to a nice meal. We counted on it. The meal we got to-go was delicious; this review is in no way to bash the pizza. It held up to the reputation, but the laziness of the employee tainted my first experience at this establishment, and I cant say for certain that my liking the pizza will outweigh the fact that I was rushed out the door when I had every right to be there.

I had the pizza buffet twice. Its more than reasonable price for just pizza. Its extra for salad bar. Pizza is decent, but missing something. I think they probably need to add a little sugar and oil to the dough mixture. It has a real crispy crust and a simple red sauce. Atmosphere is that of a dark dank dive bar. Old school. Chicken wings are baked and spicy. They seem a little slimey with an odd taste. Friendly service. Awesome refund policy. Merica!

This pizza place is in an old historic building in downtown Caldwell. The owner is a hoot, and during the week days they have an all you can eat pizza buffet for $3.99. nothing beats that! They have a decent salad bar you can add to the buffet, with the best ranch in town!!!! They have a pool table, and fun older arcade games. My family has enjoyed Keystones for years. A+

VERY RUDE STAFF UNFRIENDLY NOT CONCERNED WITH CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. had to ask very politely twice for ranch for the salad bar and the staff got irritated at me. Tables dirty, pool sticks bent and without tips making it difficult to have a fun night with your children.

Superb Pizza, decent selection of games for adults and kids if your still into those arcade machines. Decently good service, just be patient and you will be helped properly. Prices are OK, but its a good drive if you live in boise. and they do not deliver to boise.

Place is filthy. Dead bugs in the lights and cobwebs on the chains the lights hang on. Service was bad, after they brought our pizza never saw another soul. Pizza was completely bland, the crust was the only good part. No refills on your drinks either.

Awesome, nostalgic pizza place! The food is delicious, and reasonably priced — the buffet is an especially good deal. This is my first choice for pizza in the Treasure Valley. Theres just something about Keystone Pizza!

Great pizza the best in town, but it starting to smell bad I think its the carpet. Staff is cool really on their toes all the time, but that bad odor kills it a little, the family and I will still be coming back tho.

The place could use a remodel but the pizza is the best in Canyon county by far! It sure would help if they would post a menu online so people could see exactly what they want when calling to order....

Great food for good prices. The place isnt the neatest place in the world, but theres a great view of the Downtown Caldwell Christmas lights at night time if you sit by the big window in the back.

Children that belonged to servers were running amuck and getting into the pizza dough! Wings are good. Pizza is decent. Atmosphere is run down and dirty. So, eat at your own risk!

The pizza was amazing. They have an arcade atea. The bathrooms were pretty filthy and general upkeep wasnt that great. But I would still eat the pizza.

Good thin crust pizza and wings but the place is run down. Leaking water during rain storm. Little children running rampant getting into dough.

Great little place, pizza was fresh and hot off the buffet. The salad bar could use some help. Just not up to par. Get a table by the river

Pizza salad bar just mediocre. Very light on the pizza toppings. Mens bathroom doesnt have a lock which makes for an awkward experience.

The food is good and they have a great lunch special. The building is pretty old though and could definatelly use some fixing up.

Pizza is some of the best in the valley. Not the greatest pitchers of beer. Little dive place. But great food.
