While the service was very fast, the product they delivered suggested they should have taken their time. The salad was made up mostly of the core of a lettuce and dressed in a putrid slime that both looked and tasted like someone was sick on our food. The bile theme was continued with one of their signature drink, which made me briefly wonder if I had already thrown it up. The miso was overcooked, and when the main dishes arrived we upgraded from disgusting to merely bland, as the teriyaki was overcooked and lacked flavor. We refused to eat it and walked out. Would not recommend

The sushi was delicious! However, the hot tea wasnt very hot and our server seemed to be quite busy, bussing her tables and making cocktails. In turn that made it hard to get around to check on us. I wouldnt recommend the fried cheese cake, just wasnt what I expected. Id definitely go again for the sushi and atmosphere though!

Although the sushi was good, after ordering it took half an hour to get a bowl of dumpling soup and almost an hour to get our sushi. To top it off, what was brought to the table was not what we ordered. We ate it anyway because we didnt want to wait longer for a new plate to be made. I wasnt impressed.

We eat here frequently, about two times a month. I love their sushi, and they have a secret menu. My daughter doesnt eat it, so she always gets the teriyaki chicken and it is very good. Chicken is tender and the sauce, subtle and not concocted from a bottle. Love their hot tea. Recommend it highly.

We live nearby(to the State St location) and order to go at least once a month, sometimes more. Their sushi is great!! We always get great treatment when we dine in as well. Would recommend this place to anyone, and believe it is much better than some of their competitors in Eagle.

nice atmosphere, good tasting food and service. price is average. do not use the online order system for take outs. it doesnt work (or at least when we tried it they said they didnt get our order, even though we got a confirmation email. so I had to wait an extra 30 mins)

I ate here when it first opened. Their competition blows them out of the water in the food department. They have great service and a nice atmosphere. But for me its all about the food. I will give it a second chance to see if anything has changed.

We love this place, our favorite sushi place in the Boise area. We used to go to a similar place, but Sakana blows away the competition in both quality and price. The lunch specials are an amazing deal.

The miso soup was cold. The salad was warm. I ordered teriyaki chicken and it was rubbery and just terrible. They did replace it with beef teriyaki but it took forever. I wont be going back.
