Usually, I go into a run down looking establishment hoping to find a local treasure where all the locals patron for some good down-home wholesome cooking. Seeing the large crowd on the inside I eagerly waited in line to place my order for wings and fish. Sadly, this is not one of those places. The food was dry and mediocre at best.

We went there for lunch and my husband ordered chicken legs, fries , and coleslaw and a drink . I ordered gizzards, fries , and a drink and it was under twelve dollars. The food was really really good . It was hot and fresh and a great value for our dollar. We will be back. We give it five stars.

Hip Hop chicken is amazing!! Piping hot fresh fried everything to perfection. The hip hop burger and sandwiches are good too. This place never disappoints!

Got chicken tender dinner and some slaw. While the slaw appears to have been ok, the dinner was not. Ended up sick and vomiting after the meal.
