We have frequented this restaurant for 12 years, since the last franchise owner takeover a number of years ago the quality of food has dropped. Previously very consistent quality that seemed to be checked every time before being served. Their cost-cutting efforts are troubling. if theyre Injecting meats with water to increase "value". This results in watery slimy slush that doesnt cook properly to the center, this affects the texture and taste that properly cooked chicken has. Extra dressing is now translated to: bring the salad out dry, with the regular amount of dressing on the side. Im writing this review in the hopes that Outback read it and reconsider how cutting corners ultimately cuts profits. We have eaten there much less over the last couple of years as a result. If prices have to go up to maintain quality then do so. My opinion is that the last place bean counters should be meddling with is the food itself. Staff training is usually a better place to start, especially the front-line staff that check food before its served. I wrote this review after talking to the manager on several occasions where the food was inedible to me. This isnt an isolated incident. The male owner while he tried to correct the problem by offering another dish, couldnt openly understand that the chicken was mushy after squashing it on my plate. On which planet is playing with a customers food a good idea? Also stating that I should order the chicken well done. Really? When this dish is served mushy, slightly squeezing the cut chicken produces a river of watery slush - not the natural oils / cooking oils that would normally come out, but clear water with a hint of oil. If food quality and practices improve I will post an updated review. As a business owner, I fully understand that having perfect staff serve perfect dishes 100% of the time inst possible, but its something you should strive for 100% of the time.

I had an amazing experience at Outback Steakhouse in Stone Mountain GA. From the time I entered the restaurant, the hostess, was very nice and welcoming. We were sat in a reasonable time. My server introduced himself and knew the menu. My food came out fresh and hot and everything was prepared correctly. There was a situation between a server and the manager. From where I was sitting, I saw and heard a server yelling and behaving extremely unprofessional. The manager was extremely professional with dealing with the irate server and she maintained professionalism while having an issue with her server. She did not allow that one situation to interfere with the running a restaurant and making sure that all of the other customers were taken care of. We were thanked for visiting Outback and dinning in with them. The restaurants decorations looked very nice and was an added touch to the restaurant. I would really recommend you visiting this Outback Steakhouse in Stone Mountain, GA. My experience was awesome and Im sure you would have the same experience.

Literally just left this place an it was terrible.. Hostess didnt even look at us which was very rude. She made it seem as though we were bothering her.. We were seated in the back since we had a large group. It took about a good 15-20 minutes to even have a waitress come to the table. Even though, when we found out that who she was she had walked by the table mutiple times an didnt even notice us a party of 6!!! Literally, had to ask for the bread to be brought to the table. We asked another waitor for a manager an he never even asked. Still waited forever an the place wasnt not even busy at all.. When our food finally came out, the potatoes looked VERY old.. So old that when the rest of the food came out our waitress literally brought out new ones for us without anyone saying anything.. The service sucked an no one even care.. I work in the hospitality industry and know tips are a huge help. We usually tip very well but no one lived up to to the usual Outback standard.. Would not recommend anyone going to here... EVER.

I went here on Mothers Day and the food and customer service was great. This is what brought me back here. My boyfriend brought me back here on Saturday about a week ago and I ordered the ribeye steak medium rare with asparagus and the macaroni and cheese. When I first received my steak it was not cooked medium rare it was overdone the asparagus was good but the cheese was very Bland. I left a waiter know that my steak was not done correctly and he went to go get the manager who replaced my steak and it was cooked properly at that point. I taste it my spare against and they were burnt after that. I didnt even want to ask the manager to replace them seem like they just heated them up instead of putting some new ones on my plate. I may never visit them again, I dont know, Im still deciding.... maybe I will give them another chance but I will really have to think about it

Steak is ALWAYS cooked wrong. Ive been here three times in five years, dreading it every time because I know theyll get it wrong. Its a medium steak. How hard is that? Well done, it comes out, but not even seared well - just tasted like boiled, dry steak. Kudos for the manager to take it off the bill, but come on... every time? Server was nice but got our drinks wrong three times... and she came by to ask us for dessert or "the check" about 45 seconds after delivering the entrees. Place was empty, too. Only three tables were set, and the ones next to us also had issues. Oh... and after paying, took her 15 minutes to bring us change. With no explanation... and no small bills. I had to get change myself from the bar to leave her an appropriate tip. This location needs a total overhaul, new staff, a decent head cook, and a coat of paint. Lame.

Ordered three fillets, all were different shapes but equally terrible. One was the size and hardness of a hockey puck. Like a frozen hockey puck with salt and pepper on it. Sent it back and they managed to replicate the worst fillet Ive ever had. Ordered three dr. Peppers and got one root beer so I guess we are supposed to share. After dinner we ordered a coffee with cream and they offered us their "homemade creamer". Only one of us was brave enough to drink it and he is now experiencing stomach pain and diarrhea. The bread was ok. When we got it. 20 minutes after we asked for it. They offered a "to go" drink to make up for the service, it was so. If they almost got 2 stars.

Server was nice, but the manager Tracy had to make up for a lot of mistakes that she made me and my dinner date waited for over 20 plus minutes for service and it was my first night in Georgia I was super hungry and fresh off of a plane have been traveling for about 12 hours that day just not a good experience but the server did make up for it for being super nice. Even though she forgot a lot of our orders and was not attentive to refilling drinks. We watched as other tables who have been sitting before us already get dessert and get their check and leave thats how long we have been waiting.
