I went here with my fiance because we both loove Thai food and decided to try this place out. The atmosphere is nice, but the service and food gets 2 thumbs down, with the exception of the shrimp roll (I previously called it shrimp tempura) appetizer. The waitress forgot to bring half of our order and never refilled our drinks. The masaman curry was mediocre, and the shrimp pad thai had a total of three shrimp, and was the equivalent of a dogs dinner. The mango ice cream is a joke; it tasted terrible, frost-bitten, and is not home-made like I expected it would be, it tasted like it was from a generic walmart carton. I wouldnt waste my hard-earned money here. The food, service, etc.. was not good when I went here, I was very disappointed. For the price, most people would expect something much better. Some people actually like it, I am definitely not a fan though.

Hidden in a small shopping center next to the visible Scooters coffee house. The atmosphere is fairly romantic and nice but the restaurant is made chilly by the hostess/weight staff. The food was slow to come but seemed fresh when it arrived so thats fine. We got coconut soup with shrimp which seemed to have no sweetness to it at all! I got massaman curry with tofu which I thought was great although the tofu was a bit bland but was otherwise cooked prefect. My wife got pineapple fried rice with pork and that was pretty standard. All in all the experience was ok, but I doubt we will be back.

This place is a bit pricey at times depending on how many people are in your group but their food is fantastic. I usually go to thai house down the street from them but I prefer this type of thai food any day. Their ginger chicken dish is one of my favorite and definitely keeps me coming back for more. Im not a huge fan of the way this place smells inside so id suggest sitting outside or take-out Im guessing majority of the thai food places smell a bit odd because of the fish in the tanks but I cant remember if this one even has any. Overall a good experience and excellent food.

Best Thai restaurant I have ever been to. From Nashville, to Houston to Atlanta I have been to many Thai restaurants and this one is always exceptional. Once or twice service has been slow, but in my numerous visits that has been rare. I have turned so many people on to Thai Emerald and EVERYONE has been more than happy and they all KEEP RETURNING! Thats how great it is! I recommend it highly and if youve never experienced Thai food before try the cashew nut chicken dish - this will get you hooked! After that try anything - its all good!

Ill be honest with you. I can be a bit snobby about food. Living in East Cobb you have to put some of that behind you because there just isnt a great selection of restaurants in the area. Thai Emerald is one of the very few exceptions. Its authentic, its tasty, and the service is always good. While I sometimes dine in, I most often take out. While the food is a bit pricier than what I would like for take out, I have to remind myself: you pay for what you get. And at Thai Emerald you get above average Thai food.

Five stars for this Thai restaurant! My husbands grandmother had a Thai cook so we ate Thai at home. Also I lived inTampa, Fl. For 45 years which has Macdill AFB with a lot of Asians including Thai wives oowning good little restaurants., so I have eaten a LOT of Thai food over the years and this Thai Emerald has the best Thai food I have eaten in Metro Atlanta. If there is a better one I would like to know where it is! Try the nom Sod--delicious!

This place is a real gem! Food is of great quality, full of flavor and served by a staff of quality and class. Its a top choice by my discerning family. My favorites are the Emerald Cashew Nut Chicken and Thai Angel Noodle (with bean threads that are hard to find in this area). You can always customize the level of heat/spice in your dish and it comes to the table perfect every time. My LOVE for this place is big!

This place is fantastic for authentic Thai cuisine! Very addictive food great atmosphere and great service! I recommend the Thai Angel Noodle and the peanut chicken skewers are very tasty! Always fresh and they do takeout as well! My only problem is this place is now over 40 minutes away so please open a second location in the kennesaw or acworth area! PLEASE! :P

Me and my girlfriend walked in at 9:25 and after a few minutes waiting to be greeted were told that the restaurant would be closing in half an hour and we could not sit down. If this is the case, their closing time should have been 9:30, not 10:00. Ive worked at restaurants scince I was 16. This is extremely unprofessional.

This is by far the most amazing thai food you will ever eat in the south eastern region! I literally drive from South Carolina just to get their food. Amazing, simply amazing. If you do go, anything you pick off the menu will be great but my personal favorite is the cashew nut chicken and coconut soup.

I love the food here. The cashew nut chicken is my favorite. The fried bananas with coconut ice cream is full of yum as well. The ambiance could be a bit nicer and I wish they had a full bar, but other than that it is good stuff. In pretty weather they also have outside seating which is nice.

Caution ! Liars! . After eating there for almost 4 years we found out that they lied to us that their food is vegetarian. All items in the menu is made with fish sauce. We went there several times and asked them about the vegetarian options and every time they said everything can be modified !!!

Havent found a Thai restaurant that even slightly compares to Thai Emerald. The service is exceptional and the food is fantastic. I highly recommend the cashew nut chicken and the Amazing chicken. We dont even live in GA but when were in the Roswell area, we always visit Thai Emerald!

Service was good. Very friendly and attentive servers. Got my order wrong and brought out chicken instead of pork pineapple rice. My food had no flavor neither did my friends green curry. My wifes tofu dish was bland. One hour after dinner, I had severe diarrhea. Wont be back.

Tom Kha soup wasnt the coconut milk based I expect. Food is a bit pricey for as normal as it is. Environment is cramped. Lovely outdoor patio. For the cost food is okay. Been twice and verfied to me overall, given prices, its okay. Seens popular with an older crowd 55+

Not a place for vegetarians. All food is made by fish sauce and they dont have any substitutes. There are so many Thai restaurants in Atlanta area and they so a good job for vegetarians. There portions are so small and are so pricy. Not going here again.

The food was terrible. It was clear the appetizers were previously frozen. They came out not fully cooked. The tofu was rubbery and not fully cooked as well. We spent $50 for food that we could barely eat. We will definitely not be going back.
