An unexpected terrible experience. My wife, 6 year old son, and I have eaten here at least once a month for the past year. We have taken out of town guest to this restaurant. I have taken clients to this restaurant. Needless to say, we enjoy the variety of food available at this restaurant and the quality is, for the most part, good. I would estimate we have probably bought at least 200 dinners at this restaurant over the last year. However, after tonight, I will not be returning to this restaurant. We know its a buffet, but its not the variety $10 version. The bill for the three of us, and yes that includes my 6 year old son, was just shy of $100. Not terribly expensive, but costly enough that if I want to take 3 or 4 cookies home, I generally get a box. (My son likes to nibble on them on the way home, a 40 minute drive) Well, tonight, I brought the normal number of cookies, 8 or 9, to the table but no one ate any. I guess we were all too full. So I pack them up to take with me. So far, if that was it, I would have been, ok, one to many cookies. However, with the price tag for dinner, it probably would be good public relations to pack them up. Instead, this rather ostentations and extremely obnoxious and rude elderly lady, probably the owners wife, decided to stand approximately 7 feet from our table, laughing, giggling, saying its cookies, then proceeded to let each staff member know by looking and pointing in our direction. It was embarrassing. Not saying they are wrong and we are in some moral right, only that when we eat out, which we do a lot, we generally do so at restaurants that do not treat their patrons like golden corral but have an understanding that the expensive menu also comes with some idiosyncrasies of the patrons that visit that establishment. Like taking a few cookies for the kid to eat on the way home. We will not be returning to this restaurant. If they wish to treat their patrons as if they are eating in a lower cost restaurant, they should charge accordingly.

I have been eating a Nori Nors since May 2012, I have spent well over $400 friends and family combined. The food and service is very excellent!!! I love it! Obviously I wish the price would drop a little but thats what you pay for quality! Only until recently was I dismayed when redeeming my discount on my card that the manager told me I had to come back another day due to a systematic malfunction with there computer hough she could see my redeemable points on there (from the visits). Due to this I was very disappointed. One I was very Hungry lol and felt as though I deserved to have had my points redeemed since it could still be seen regardless of swiping (which a waitor told me i could redeem on that visit: Miscommunication) two I just dont think I was treated as priority. This is a service customer first venue and I feel as though her attention was else where as she briefly dismissed me and asked me to hold while she took care of other business on two occasions. Having spent so much money in this place and just claiming what they advertised I just left. I hope something can be done about that particular instance but other than that Ive enjoy the food and servers. maybe she just had a rough day but customers are always first, wasnt that the former slogan of American venues? lol

I Love Nori Nori, it is an amazing all you can eat sushi buffet. They open from 11:45- 2:30 and then again from 6:00pm-9:00pm. Ive never been for lunch only dinner and the cost for one person is about 27 dollars. The food is great, so many options and not just sushi, but also seafood and chicken desserts. I gave it 4 starts because 1. you must get their on time if you want to have an enjoyable experience. the place is so popular that if you dont get there by 6, it will be so crowded with people and families that it can get a little crazy, especially when people allow their young children to serve themselves...the lines get crazy, and it requires serious maneuvering skills to get around to the food and your table. 2. if you arent there on time, the quality of the food diminishes but only slightly...basically they will be trying to pump out so much food due to the crowds that its inevitable youll get something and go back for it again and it wont taste as great, or it wont be there at all. the waiters are prompt and they bring you drinks and they are polite. I love Nori Nori

I usually come here with my family because its more wallet friendly with a lot of people. The dinner menu is always different than the lunch menu for instance they serve Alaskan King Crab Legs and more options like Korean BBQ ribs in the hot food section. For a sushi buffet, their fish is surprisingly fresh and I like how their sushi rolls are not huge and relatively small with less rice. Great variety of rolls, as well as standard nigri. The hot food section is good as well they offer a great variety like Italian style mussels, crab cakes and tempura. This hot food selection changes of course. I love how their green tea yogurt has changed for the better, less sweet vanilla taste and more matcha taste. The service is great despite the fact that it gets incredibly busy on the weekends. For your average workday lunch its not as busy as you think.

Ive been to Nori Nori about 5 times now, and Im always impressed. It seemed better than ever today and Im glad they are keeping the quality up. Our waiter was great in stopping by but he kept taking my wasabi! They offered me some take home wasabi when we joked about him taking it haha. Ive been to other renowned sushi bars which are perhaps slightly fresher but Nori Nori has very fresh ingredients, the ginger was perfect. Im sure you could find a dish which isnt the best prepared, but youre at a buffet! If you dont like it, you have like 3 dozen different options so check it out. Im not an expert on the authenticity of their variety, I just know it tastes amazing every time and I will definitely be back. The only thing I didnt feel too hot about was the dessert section. It was okay, but I was there for the sushi.

One of our favorite sushi restaurants in Atlanta, and a bargain, even at the $27 weekend dinner price, considering the quantity and quality of the food. All the seafood is fresh, and very nicely presented. We have been there dozens if times, and have never been disappointed. The variety of sushi, sashimi and hot items can be a bit overwhelming; theres no way to try it all on one visit. As a chef and culinary instructor, I have taken my students there on many occasions for field trips as well, and even people who "dont like sushi" come away smiling. Yes, we love this place, need I say more?

Ive only been to Nori Nori for lunch but every time I remember its in the area and go, my stomach and I thoroughly enjoy ourselves. I normally do not partake in many buffets but their selection is fantastic and the quality has not disappointed me so far. From soups (try the udon!) to grilled meat/seafood skewers to sushi, salads and prepared dishes - theres something for everyone. Plenty of veggie options as well. Its pricier for the area and definitely for a lunch but, to me, worth it. Its great to splurge every now and then. Id eat here once a week if I could just remember it was there.
