I saw that the last review of this Waffle House was dated two years ago. I am surprised to find that there are no recent reviews prior to mines. It would be my pleasure to bring you up to date. I am a huge Waffle House fan and so my fiancé and I decided to venture out this morning and have some breakfast at this location. I am embarrassed to tell you that I ate here. Although the food was good, the restaurant was absolutely filthy. I know, I know. Youre probably wondering why we bothered to eat there, especially since I normally have a history of paying very close attention to health food code ratings. The truth is we didnt notice just how unclean the restaurant was until after we sat down to eat. Here are a few things we noticed. The coffee pot that the servers poured coffee from had what looked like 3 years worth of coated grease on them. Because we were seated directly across from the cooks station, we had a birds eye view of a garbage pail overflowing with trash, the floor at the cooks station was full of food droppings, i.e., old egg shells, and overall the floor looked as if it has not been swept nor mopped in years. As we were leaving out the door to pay for our food, we were further appalled with the fact that the waffle station was literally full of piles and piles of old waffle crumbs on the entire waffle station as fresh waffles continued to be cooked. This is no exaggeration--the entire waffle station was so full of old waffle crumbs that you could not see the stove. Yikes...someone please call either Chef Ramsey or better yet the Cobb Department of Public Health Services on these people. While I am a huge Waffle House fan, this is not one that I will be visiting anytime soon until they clean up their act. Absolutely disgusting!

I work at Waffle House, 3rd shift of course, and none of these things occur. Im not sure whos working first and second shift, but I see what these ppl mean. Different cooks at these times as well. Im sorry that u guys had a bad experience in a kinda cranky environment and everyone seemed like they didnt wanna work there except the lady who was training me. Charlotte. Shes a true rock star and a great person and showed me a lot during first shift. I was so proud bc of her helping me get certified, and pleased as well. Shes taught me everything I know. So please come on down to 3rd shift between the hours 9pm-7am for great customer service and where the food is hot and the drinks are cold lol!!!

I was in there on 2-10-17, the only thing bad I have to say about being there was the waitress Audi. She was being very rude to the cook in front of the customers. She did this a couple of times. The cook took it in stride, he never said a word and continued to do his job. I have no clue if there is/was an issue between the two but he was the only one not to show it if there was. Other than that, the food was good but I do not want to walk into a business and see a staff member treating another staff member rudely.

Seriously people... is it THAT hard to make scrambled eggs that are not half raw and runny when someone places a to-go order ???? We work nearby and everyone at my office has had to stop eating there for fear of getting food poisoning because more than 50% of the time the stuff isnt cooked thoroughly enough. Send your inspectors to this location under cover a few times on random days. If youre happy after that - then theres a bigger problem!

This place is so so DIRTY and the workers are mean Alexis is her name And she is so rude and brakes all the rules Customers complain about her And even the manager Another Salesperson named Charlotte All she does is fake like she cares about u And even would tell you a fake story just so she can manipulate your mind into feeling sorry for her for you to tip her bigger then original

Slow service. Waited 30 minutes before we even had our order taken. The same tables were dirty when I left from when I had arrived. I watched 8 groups of customers walk out because they didnt have a clean seat. And they didnt get cleaned. When I got my food it was cold. Then my husbands food came little by little. We had to get our own silverware also. Good food. But crappy service.

Its a Waffle House. Good for a simple, late night breakfast. Asked for unsweet tea, got sugar with tea in it. Even after the server repeated it correctly. Did not drink it. Asked for eggs over easy, got fried-hard! Taste was fine, just not shat I ordered. Only 2 other patrons when we ordered.

Called in order, told her I want the chicken melt which mind you come with grilled onions, she asked if I wanted the grilled onions, I said yes, pickup my food, got to my destination to eat my sandwich and it DID NOT have my grilled onions! I HATE when my food is not right!

Have been here 45 minutes. Still no food. Cooks are arguing with servers because theyre calling orders too fast. Servers are doing a good job just trying to keep up with the customers but cooks are too slow and cant keep up. Customers are leaving without ordering.

My 5 star rating is because of the Chef . Let me tell you she is nothing but professional and holds this establishment to high standards. This was my first time stopping in at this location but from this day forward will be my only location I stop by .

Why does this location not give you an option to call in a To go order? Everytime I try to, I get a "your call is very important to us... please call us back shortly". Yeah, I feel way important now waffle house on florence rd. Ihop it shall be.

The Underground

Great food great service, but the floor behind the counter was like the Atlanta city dump! I guess they were little busy, too busy to sweep! Ill be happy to come every day at noon and sweet back there for free all star meal!

(((Josh))) is the best cook there, I always call before I go just to make sure he is working,that man could be a professional chef,never burns our food like other waffle houses do,

Food was good. Server Keri messed up mine and my wifes order. maybe she was having a bad day. Even after sending the food back, they still didnt get it right. :(

I order the same thing and Im in there at least once a week and the cook can never get my order right and the server gave me my drink and then just walked away

Absolutely fantastic. !!! Great crew !!! A mishap for my girlfriends order, but they worked to overcome the inconvenience.

Cleanest Waffle House in the area! Always good food! But coming between 10-12 on Saturday it is busier but the wait is short.
