Ive always liked IHOP. The service is good, the ambiance is nice and causal, and the food is pretty good. However this one in particular only gets 3 stars for 3 reasons. One is theyre inconsistent with their food. What I mean is some days the food is awesome, but other days the food is disgusting. One time my mom order hashbrowns and they tasted great, but the next day she ordered them again and they were gross. She tried again the day after and they were still gross. Restaurants usually try to make the food taste good every single time so customers will always enjoy it. Waffle House always has good tasting food no matter what day, so theyre successful for being consistent. The second reason is the waitstaff isnt always attentive when it comes to orders. One time my mom ordered an omelet and asked them to add spinach to it, but when she got her omelet there was no spinach. The next day she asked again with the same special request, still no spinach. This continued for a few weeks until they finally got it right. I dont know if the server was distracted or if the chef was having an attitude, but constantly messing up a simple order is unacceptable. The third reason is there was an incident involving me ordering my usual french toast. Yesterday my mom and I ordered our usual food. When I was about to eat my french toast I noticed something stringlike like hanging off of it. It was a red hair! I knew it wasnt mine because my hair is brown, plus I was wearing braids. I was disgusted, and when I told my server what happened she took my food back but it took almost 30 minutes for the chef to make a new batch for me. Luckily my mom reported the incident to the manager and she gave us the french toast for free. Now I have to double check to make sure theres nothing in my food the next time I eat there. Theyre lucky Im nice or else I would have done what most people do and caused a scene and forced them to give me a free meal. My overall opinion is this is a great restaurant, just double check your food the next time you take a bite out of it.

I have been to this location and have placed call in orders before and I almost always wait a little longer than i should for picking up. If it is ready there is something wrong, but the food always tastes great. This morning I wanted a little breakfast without cooking. My fiancé offered go grab something so I took a chance because I love their waffles. Go figure. I called to place an order and never got an answer. The line was continuously busy or when it did ring it rang to no end. The one time the ringing did stop no one was on the other end. I understand the store being busy, but I called over 50 times. How is it possible to call 50+ times and no one answer at least to place me on hold?

Filthy!! We walked in waiting to be seated and the floors were absolutely covered in trash. The host then guided us through the trash and proceeded to sit us down at two very dirty tables with 2 flys sitting contently on top of it. The seats were dirty and sticky and when asked about it he attempted to wipe it off with the menus he was about to hand us. When asked to speak to the manager, to our surprise it was the very person who walked us through the trash and dirty tables. His response to our concerns was that "we are doing the best we can". Needless to say, we left! Worst experience ever.

Me and 3 other co-workers came here after a show, our I was on a church fast and could only eat veggies. Our server told us a bold of veggies was .89¢ so I got 3, when the bill came they rang from $1.39/$1.99, she did not no and went to get Ashley the manager, she came and said she was sorry but the price is right and there was nothing she could do, well we let her know she lost 4 customers and she walk away as if she did not care.

My wife and I sat down at 12:20pm today and ordered crepes and an omelette and at 1:49pm we still havent seen our food so we walked out. Our waitress was a lady named Vicki. 3 parties of 5 had sat down after us and had gotten their food, eaten and left. This has been the worst treatment we have received at this location. Now we are going to the next available IHOP in the next city. Thanks for nothing Douglasville ga IHOP.

Everytime I go, I have a great experience. My kids love it. I just hate when they tried to sit me in the back somewhere when theres plenty of sit right in the front But besides that, is the best place ever, mgmt is respectful, waitress are the best and polite, waiters are great. Even the boss boys are polite, this is a great family place to be. Now they know me by name. Love it. Douglasville ihop is the best.

My food was good but the customer service was awful. Our server said she could do something but told us she refused to substitute pancakes for fries even after I agreed to pay more, then she interuped a friend and said she was busy when she asked to place a to go order, then had the nerve to tell us to be sure to tip in cash because they tax it if its on a card! Like really? Lol

This place is 50/50. You never know if you will have a waitress that ignores you for their phone or if you will have an attentive waitress doing their job. Sometimes your food is hot and fresh, sometimes it is cold and disgusting. Drinks usually remain empty, the faster you drink them the more they ignore you. The manager doesnt seem to care, so it is always a risk.

This service was HORRIBLE ! I tried to explain that I was dissatisfied and the manager was very rude. Not only that, but she walked away from me numerous of times. I was there a whole hour and only seen my server ONCE. I couldnt even get a refill on my drink that I paid for. A $30 bill and all I ate was some greasy sausages and some hard chicken tenders.

Late night visit while enroute to the airport. Service was very slow. Servers were standing around chatting instead of attending to customers. Food was ok. Not bad or exceptional. Pancakes were delicious but were serve on a saucer instead of a plate so you couldnt put syrup on them without it running off onto the table. Overall, we got fed, but left

I did not enjoy my experience here due to the lack of attentiveness of our particular server. Maybe you will have a betree experience. Also beware of how greasy the bathroom door feels as you enter. Enough to cause you to wash your hand before doing any bathroom business.

The server took our order and she left us sitting for over 30 minutes. Another young lady step up and took care of us. She wasnt even suppose to be there . I really was glad she just left like the other lady did. That was the first time I ever had problem at this Ihop.
