I work in the Avenue and after months of construction I was delighted to be invited for a free meal at Brixx. They were using us to train their staff, and honestly, I dont think they needed too much work. The service here is the best part of the experience. Everyone is very personable and friendly. The only complaint I have about the employees is their clothing. I know this is a major nitpick but for some reason it really bothered me that their uniforms werent uniform at all. They all wore simple cheap looking tees with the Brixx logo embroidered on them. Each employee had a different colored shirt, and wore light gray to vaguely khaki to bright white shorts/pants/bermudas. I figure if youre going to put your staff in a uniform, make it an actual uniform. Honestly, Id rather have had them in tee shirts and jeans of their own choice. I digress... The restaurant is very clean and tidy. The atmosphere is pleasant. Indoors it looks a little dark, but I only passed though. It being a nice day, we ate outside. The table was a little wobbly, but the chairs were comfortable, and I like how the umbrellas are just sort of around, and not actually stuck through the middle of the table. So with the service and atmosphere covered, that just leaves the food and pricing. We were given a free meal, so I cannot comment on price, but honestly I wouldnt pay much for this. It is NOT bad. The food here is just very underwhelming. It may be because of all the hype built up by working next door for months and waiting on it to open. It may be that my mother is Italian and her home cooking surpasses the food here easily. Honestly though, as a guy who eats microwaved Michaelenas and Tombstone pizzas and generally never cooks, I can confidently say that I could have assembled this meal. Again, I really want to stress that this is not bad food. It is good food. However, after sampling it, I probably will not return. It just really isnt anything special. For a place that prides itself on pizza and beer, they really should produce a more fantastic pie, and offer a wider selection. The service is phenomenal and the aesthetics are fine, but this place hasnt really earned my buck. Try it once if you like, and maybe youll be more satisfied than me. THE FOOD IS OKAY

We went to this location last night to try it out for the first time. We were greeted by the hostess who explained that there was a 10-15 minute wait time. We decided to wait and she gave us a menu to browse. We put the menu back on the counter and sat down while waiting. During that time another couple came in and went to the bar. We noticed a booth being cleaned. So, when the hostess returned we asked if we could get the booth when it was done. She asked Can I help you? and had a puzzled look on her face. We explained that we would like the booth, again, and then she asked what name we were waiting under. She never asked us for our name when we entered. We told her what transpired just two or three minutes prior and she seemed to have forgotten who we were altogether. The hostess said that there were people ahead of us. We asked if it was the couple that just entered a moment ago and she said Yes. We had to jog her memory, explaining that we entered the restaurant before them. She told us there was a 10-15 minute wait, again, and we said that it was fine. She took our name and we sat once more. After roughly 7-10 minutes the hostess seated the couple who arrived after us even though we had to remind her that we arrived first. At that point we decided to leave. I cant believe how someone so air-headed has the duty to give the first impression of the restaurant.

I went by myself to Brixx, but I didnt feel the uncomfortable feeling of "Oh, you have no friends to come and eat with you" so that was nice. I ordered the Bruschetta and it was made exactly the way I liked it. Many restaurants offer Bruschetta and they all pretty much make it completely differently. Brixx Bruschetta was overflowing with tomatoes and flavor and looked nice too. I have been craving it since I went a few weeks ago and think I will be stopping in again tonight. I cannot honestly remember the type of pizza I ordered. I know it was one of the simpler choices. The pizza is thinner than chains such as Pizza Hut and Dominos, but I would definitely drive out of my way for Brixx Pizza.

This is by far the best pizza around. We live in Griffin but came all the way here for pizza and it was great. Was not sure since the only other review said it was just ok. I am not sure what that reviewer was looking but this is exactly the way Neapolitan wood fired pizza is supposed to look and taste. Our pizza were very light and delicious. If you are looking for a greasy Chicago style pizza this is not the place for that. We also had a salad and I must say the salad was fresher and better than any of the pizza places in the area we have tried. Highly recommended.

Good luck getting what you ask for. The turkey wraps do the even have turkey - they use chicken, or so an employee said. In addition, they fully tolerate sexual harassment of employees, and when confronted - they deny & let the employee go. When asking a manager about a job for another person, she asked if that potential worker was pretty... and then acknowledged that she cant ask that. All in all, I dont like them as a company, or a restaurant. Their practices are deceptive and their food isnt even good. This location should shut & let a real restaurant take its place.

We love the pizza and salad at Brixx and usually have a great experience when eating here. However, tonight was a different story. We got there pretty early for a Saturday night and there were only a couple of other customers. The service was horrible - our waiter was Seth. Our drinks went unfilled as we watched the staff all taste testing beer from the taps. The manager on duty was Casy who was watching all of this go on. Even though we feel like this is the best pizza and salad in PTC we will never be back after what we experienced tonight.

I went there with my two teenage children for their birthdays. We sat there for 20 minutes with menus on our table and out of three waitresses, no one stop to take our drink order. Another group of people came in after us and their order was taken within 5 minutes. I want to believe that businesses dont condone racism but being that we were the only minorities there, I can only assume the worst.

Good food and good friendly staff. Only complaint is the spinach salmon salad was a little bland but chances are youre not coming here for the salad. Pizza and pasta offerings were great! Good family atmosphere too.
