MPC is a SAVING GRACE to FAMILY! :-) We had almost 20 family members (all but three were adults) out to bid farewell to two sons/brothers who were moving to California THE NEXT DAY. We initially went to Hemingways and approached staff to have tables aligned together in the outdoor area. The two servers at Hemingways were excited to have a large, money-making party and started moving tables. The owner of Hemingways had them alter the set-up and make two rows of ten seats (splitting the family apart on either side of the alley), without explanation. Naturally, a family bidding farewell to someone (this case, two) doesnt want to be split apart. We dragged only ONE more table over so we all could fit as a family... The owner of Hemingways ran out, grabbed the table from the 58-year-old patriarch, and LOUDLY proclaimed to his staff AND our family that "this is how it will be [tables separated]; if you dont like it -- LEAVE". The two servers said it can work (different sections), but the owner said "No, do it like this or not at all". FINE. All 20 of us walked out and passed HORRIFIED faces of a couple other customers already seated. The poor Hemingways servers had to watch HUNDREDS of dollars walk away because an old, grumpy man has to be bitter in life to overcome whatever shortcomings hinder his mental illness. A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER REFUSED TO MOVE ONE TABLE!!! We support small business, but NOT big attitude. SAVING GRACE: We walked over to MARIETTA PIZZA COMPANY and they gave us the best service EVER, and we told them about Hemingways. THEY APOLOGIZED for that place (why should they have to?). No wonder Hemingways is empty and Marietta Pizza Company is ALWAYS BUSY. Marietta Pizza Company gave us our own private room. That server (cant remember her name, but she looks spot on like the actress Julia Stiles) walked away MAKING BANK. VISIT MPC AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE! Support better business!

Let me start by saying the food was GREAT so the service. So, why a 3 start? We ordered 4 large pizzas but we wanted some wings as a starter. We asked for 10 wings to be half bbq half lemon pepper, then we decided we wanted 20 so we asked 5 mild 5 another flavor, they guy said it has to be half and half, so let me understand, if I order 10 it can be half and half (5 and 5), but if I order 20 it can not be 4 flavors of 5.... ????????. They guy look like he was cofused too so he went and asked his boss, he came back and they said he cant do 4 flavors of 5, but if I order 10 then he can do 2 flavors of 5.... ?????.... I still do not uderstand, so the kitchen can cook two orders of 10 from different flavors, but they cant cook 4 flavors on an order of 20... ?????? . We ended up ordering 10 (2 flavors of 5). It does not make any sense at all. Nobody look like helping on this on the management side.

Horrible service & attitude from staff. We walked in on a Wednesday afternoon with friends that were visiting from out of town and grabbed a table. No one would help us. We waited 15 minutes and servers were standing around looking at is but were unwilling to even take a drink order. We finally left and went elsewhere. This isnt the first time I have gotten this kind of service and its the only place I have received it. Im in customer service and I understand an off day here or there but Im not sure what the deal is here. Maybe the staff is just unhappy at this location, as the West Cobb location is a different attitude entirely. The pizza is great at both locations. Its just unfortunate that the staff ruined the experience

I have been here many times and I am sad to say the quality has dropped significantly. Ever since opening their location on Acworth Due West we know completely avoid this local chain. During peak times there are long lines here and locals seem to love it. If you dont care about amazing pizza and just like the ambience then this is your place. If you want amazing pizza you will be disappointed. Dont even try the Sicilian. Instead grab a slice and a beer from the decent beer selection and come here to be with your friends. In the Zagat review days i could submit a rating for food and a separate rate for decor. I would rate this 5 stars for decor and 2 for food. But instead I can only leave 1 score.

I had the most awful experience at this place earlier today. I didnt get a chance to taste the pizza because when I walked in no one attended to me. There were no customers and I stood there for a few minutes and not one employee even acknowledged my presence. They just went about their business as if there was no one there. I could say more but I will just leave it at that and obviously never return to this awful place. If I could give it 0 stars I would because thats what this place deserves. So if you want to be treated like trash JUST to spend YOUR money on some pizza then this is the place for you, otherwise Im sure you can find great customer service and great pizza elsewhere.

AMAZING FOOD! MUST VISIT! My family and I were visiting from out of town and were looking for different places to try and eat other than your standard chain food resturant and we hit the jackpot! We ordered the fried motzerella sticks and the fresh motzerella/tomatoe/basil app GREAT starters! then we ordered a 3 meat pie of pizza and I ordered a separate slice of cheese and spinach pizza...WOW! The portions and freshness were excellent for the prices which was very reasonable. The only minor flaw was waiting for service, it was busy however, so worth the wait for the quality and love put into our food. Thank you to our fantastic waiter Zack - We will definitely be back!

If I could delete the single star and offer a negative rating, I would. Called for a pie delivered. Ok, Im visiting, staying in a motel. The boy on the phone says, "we only deliver to the Hilton." Guess that my money isnt as good as the money that the people who stay at the Hilton! Then he asks if I want to order a pick up. REALLY? Why would anyone take the trouble to go to a place that offers services only to certain people? I dont care about other ratings of this dump. People may not remember your name but they will always remember the way you made them feel. In both regards, mpc is dirt.

Went in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. The place was pretty busy for an after- lunch time. The food is fastastic!! My bf and I ordered calzones and they are not only huge but absolutely delicious! Also ordered breadsticks and they are awesome! The customer service was exceptional and our waiter was willing to answer my questions about the menu and the locale because I was curious about the art on the walls. Overall, Im positive we will be back in the future! Btw, I ate the other half of my calzone 2 days later for lunch at work and it was still delicious!

Came in and were immediately seated. The place has a lot of foot traffic and they had a full house inside as well as the patio seating. Our server Michael seemed to be holding down all of the tables and didnt miss a beat. The pizza was delicious and packed with toppings..good crust as well, the pizza sauce wasnt my favorite. The wings were delicious and crispy. I didnt expect them to,be as hot as they were, maybe it was a chipotle flavored sauce because buffalo has never tasted that hot! They were scrumptious. Will be back there soon!
