Good news or the bad news? The good news is that this pizza joint has better than average pizza and other menu items, although dont expect them to differ from the menu at all, apparently the menu items are set in stone and they dont want to confuse the kitchen staff. We go in about once a month because its close and food is like I said, better than average. However the owners, dont know their names, are far from friendly. They walk around like policemen on patrol and never engage the customers. Our friends were there once when the owner went around turning off the lights at closing time, I guess that was his hint to get the heck out?! We dont get it, arent owners supposed to be friendly and cheerful so you will return again and again which adds to their bottom line? The staff and bartender in particular are fabulous. They are polite and quick with service and have the menu and daily specials down pat. We will continue to go when we are short on time but just wish the owners would stay in the back.

I could give this place 4 stars because the service was bit slow, but there was only 2 servers covering the entire restaurant as someone had quit that morning (or so they say). I am giving the benefit of the doubt and believing the story, so no issue. The food was fantastic, and the gluten free pizza was one of the best i have had. Don Antonios was the number one spot until they closed, and i cant go to their NYC or Naples locations every time i want a good pizza.

The customer service is par none. Everyone was kind and courtesy and made sure we knew the menu. You know the pizza is good when you eat the crust and sauce because you cant put it down. Our waiter suggested the Scappa Napoli and the the Amore. We loved both. Very good atmosphere and great wine selection.

Pizza was delicious. Good wine selection. I found one of the owners friendly and talkative. The chef was engaging and came to our table as well. the True testament? : Its sooo busy on the peak nights! I think that says a lot. Nice vibrant ambience and good food. Crabapple needed a place like this

Admittedly Im a topping guy when it comes to pizza. 850 has changed this! The high heat, wood fired oven is a game changer! Oh, if you enjoy a little spice in your life, try the angry meatballs. Served in a rich cream sauce, there is enough kick to remind you that angry is in the dishes name.

Since they changed the menu some months ago, we generally dont go there. I feel like they lost focus. Also, the ever-present "Now Hiring" sign out front indicates they cant keep talented wait staff around. Which explains some of the disinterested service weve experienced.

I wouldnt say this is my favorite pizza joint, but the pizza is really good. They have a lot of very authentic and interesting toppings, and everything is very flavorful. The down size is the cost, and some things are just too eccentric for their own good.

Formerly a Nappoli style pizzeria like Antico, theyve since changed their recipe to be more generic while keeping the prices high. Their deserts are still fantastic, but look elsewhere now if you want high quality pizzas.

Wickedly fine selection of whiskey and other alcohol. Very nice... though I just cant pair it with pizza. The pizza and food is excellent. Should be. The rumor is they poached the chef from Campania awhile back.

My wife and I have had dinner here and like the atmosphere. The restaurant is always clean, the staff friendly and the taps are always cold. We enjoyed the pizza and appetizers. We will be back.
