A group of friends and I went here for the USA vs. Jamaica Gold Cup soccer match. This place was packed and had great atmosphere for the event, but thats about all the good that I can say about my visit. The service was incredibly slow. For a major event like this, wouldnt common sense dictate that more servers would be on staff? Apparently not. It took about 20+ minutes to get drinks whenever wed order them, and one of our group members had to go and track down our server since she was so busy. Further, the kitchen was so backlogged with orders at one point. The server informed us that they simply were not taking any orders for a certain amount of time in order to get the kitchen caught up. Again, if there is a major event going on maybe there should be more staff scheduled to compensate for the crowds. The food tasted alright - we ordered BBQ wings, bacon & cheese fries, and some of the guys ordered dinner for themselves. I made the mistake of ordering the fish tacos during my visit. They made me sick, and I ended up going to the doctor because of it. I did reach out to Fados via Facebook about this, but that was less than useless. The GM was supposed to call me one day, and never did. Furthermore, it wasnt until the following week that I decided to follow up with Fados about this. When I informed them that I was getting the BBB involved, I suddenly had received a call from the events coordinator. Not sure how this helps my issue, but that is the person who followed up with me. After a nasty bout with food poisoning, and having to track down people at Fados in order for them to do their jobs correctly, I know that I wont be back. They stood by their point that I was the only reported case of this happening, and more or less did nothing to resolve the situation. If youre looking for a place that has god-awfully slow service, then go here. If youre looking for overpriced drinks, then go here. Beware.

well, i had never actually gone out for irish food before and wanted to try it. im really pleased to say i did. the restaurant itself is fairly large but the style of the seating is very cozy, especially nice for winter. the staff was pleasant, the orders fast and the place quite clean. im pretty pleased with that. and the food was delicious, so its made me want to eat irish food definitely. its near public transit so thats a plus too. i do like that fado is located in a safe neighborhood, even if the clientele is a bit yuppie-ish. oh well. i did find the irish coffee to be a bit high priced, but maybe this is because i tend to go to hole in the wall places. i wont deny it, it was tasty. im not big on the valet parking however. i prefer to park myself. its not just the cost, i dont like people touching my car.

This is probably my favorite bar in Atlanta. I love fado for a fun night out with a group or a drink or dinner with a friend but it is also GREAT for events. They will reserve a section for you and have a designated waiter/waitress for your group. Separate tabs are never a problem. The rooftop bar is unlike anything else in Buckhead and although it can get super packed, its great most months out of the year. The people who work there are very nice and the crowd varies depending on if there is a soccer match going on, the DJ is playing or its a random weeknight. Ive seen lots of first dates there because there are places to sit and the food is good too. The Chicken Boxy appetizer is the best thing on the menu.

Fadó is a very unique restaurant. First, there are many unique shops across the street, so its a terrific area in general. Fadó has many, MANY unique beers on draft, occasionally swapping one beer for the next, so seasonal beer drinkers will be happy. The liquor selection is also terrific. The food is amazing. The cooks spare no expense on the presentation and flavor of the dishes. I personally came to Fadó because of a recommendation outside of the city. I had no idea what to expect, but even at 11AM, the service was top-notch and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and catered to every need. I never had to ask for anything.

Used to love this place. Went for brunch, asked for mimosa a little after 11. The guy, in a pretty rude mood, said no, citing state law, cant serve until 12:30. Ok, cool, what ever, law is law, sunday, no biggie. Well about 20 or 30 minutes go by, not even noon. Look around the restaurant and pretty much every table has beer or other alcoholic beverage on their table or at bar and see bartenders openly and willingly serving up. Just thought it was pretty crappy the guy was such a dick about it to us, but not to other patrons. If youre going to break the law, you may as well break it for 10/10 people and not just 9/10 people.

I have loved Fado for over 3 years, and the fact it is within walking distance is a great boon. Yet last night, I ran into a manager named Kevin who was impolite to say the least. I wonder if his presence is the cause of 3 of my favorite bartenders leaving the establishment. I do not know if I will bother returning near weekly, and if I find that he is working, I do not doubt that I will leave immediately. It is a sad situation for such an otherwise excellent establishment. I only hope that the they rectify their management so I can enjoy their business again.

One of the most fun, chill, nicely designed places Ive been in Buckhead! And on the patio is a chill atmosphere but great views. Im a bit annoyed though that I was there on a Sunday and they have a 3 dollar mimosa special... But decided to tell me that wasnt valid on a certain kind of day (Euro 2016 or something), but kept the advertisement on the table. This was only mentioned after I ordered 4 mimosas and was given my check. I think you should be clear about what special is and isnt going on. Nontheless Id come back for food... On actual $3 mimosa day

Went to watch the USA v Argentina Soccer game on Tuesday night. Sooo crowded you could even move through the place . . it was hard to stand. An enthusiastic crowd is a big part of such events but I really cant see that the place earned more revenue allowing number way past what jurisdictions any fire code. I could even buy a beer . . . waiters would take order except from table and the people were 5 or 6 deep trying to get a bartenders attention. Next game Ill probably look for a place with a more responsible entry policy . . .

My go to spot for drinks and football (European). Really good, hearty menu offerings pair deliciously with the great drinks. Love the chips w/ assorted sauces for snacks. The entrees that never disappoint are the lamb dip sandwich, fish and chips and the full Irish (cures all what ails ya! Guaranteed hangover cure, especially with a bloody Mary. At least thats what Ive been told). it is the kind of place you find yourself staying much longer than anticipated. Two hours can turn into six in the blink of eye!
