This is usually my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area, however, tonight I was treated very rudely! We were seated in the corner and the waitress for area walked by us several times. She looked at us, turned her head and kept walking. She checked on several other customers and then cleaned off a table, without even coming to take our drink order or bring chips/salsa. The were not any customers waiting to be seated so it wasnt extremely important for her to get the table cleaned knowing we had been sitting there for nearly 10 mins. As I go to the leave the manager asked why we were leaving and tried to persuade us to stay by saying she would take our order and get it right out to us. I politely declined and told her I dont appreciate being treated rudely and that I would go some that appreciates my business. They should train their staff to prioritize their responsibilities and make sure all customers feel welcomed and appreciated. It kind of sucks b/c now I have to find another favorite since I probably WONT be returning!

My wife and a couple were friends with went to El rodeo on Sunday afternoon for lunch. Ive never been here before, so thought Id give it a try. BAD idea the service was okay and the food didnt seem to bad. Until later that night, my wife and I came down with food poisoning and had to miss work cause of it. I guess I had gotten the worst of it cause Im missing work for the second day now. We found out later that the couple we ate with had gotten sick to. Ill never eat there again and Ill defer people away from this place as long as its still in business. Take it from me, dont waste your time here its not worth the risk of getting sick and missing work

Ive been going to this restaurant for the past 10 years. Theres a reason why this place continues to thrive. The food is great and fresh and the service has always been pretty good.. especially yesterday when we were celebrating my 2 year olds birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make it special for both her and my entire family. Ive always had great margaritas and food so Ill definitely keep this place as my #1 go-to spot for Mexican in the East Cobb area.

I am new to the area, and have been looking for a good place for a meal. This is not it. -- The beef was dry, stringy, and had no flavor. -- The salsa was anything but fresh. The tomatoes tasted like dry cork. -- The chips tasted like the oil they were fried in had turned. My girlfriend and I both ended up trashing our meals (we ordered to go).

I was impressed with this restaurant. The food looked really well made for the party of 4 that I was with. I ordered the Mango Habanero Chicken and to my surprise it really was not super spicy at all. Another individual ordered a Grilled Shrimp salad and the shrimp where a good size plenty for one individual.

Terrible! My husband and I along with our 2 year old son went in for a quick dinner, sat there for almost two hours, and never got our food. We ended up asking another server to let our server know that we wanted our food to-go. The server came to the table maybe a total of 4 times. Never going back again.

Our server barely helped us. The salad was full of water and tasted like it was from a can. The tacos tasted good but they only use one tortilla instead of two with their "authentic mexican" tacos, which lets the filling fall out easily. We also waited over 20 minutes for the check process.

I was in the restaurant supply business and have seen a lot of kitchens. El Rodeos is the cleanest by far. The food is really good, the staff pleasant and its a great place for a quiet dinner. And the health rating was 100 as of 11/18/15 I love this place.

Ive been eating here for about three years and its great. Family friendly, great food and great prices. Usually always get the changa or the enchiladas or tacos. Ive tried a lot of the menu and it doesnt disappoint. Would recommend to others.

Ive Heard the Food is Good, BUT... The Health Department Rating at the door is NOT! Low 80s with repeat offenses for failure to properly prepare, heat and hold food. Too many places close by with A Ratings to risk getting sick here.

Canned sauces including the salsa. Stale chips, poor service, and lack of flavor. Taquitos had old filling and stale tortillas. This is the worst Mexican resteraunt Ive been to in the area. I doubt the staff eats the food.

Jose is probably the worse server in the history of man. This used to be a great place to eat and hang out but over the last few years its gone down hill. There are better places to grab Mexican food in Cobb County.

Good food with friendly service. There are a few TVs in the restaurant but theyre not intrusive. On Canton next to the Piedmont intersection. About 5-10 mins from Barrett Pkwy and Marietta Square.
