First off I went to this restaurant off of good reviews expecting my food to be as good as it was reviewed. Server was polite and assisted us well with the menu but when the food came out (chicken kababs) it was under seasoned (tasteless) and chicken was very dry. (Pita bread seemed to be bought from the store.) The chicken did not seem marinated. The ratio to chicken to potatoes was ridiculous! Also their salad had to be eaten with a knife and fork which was a joke! Not to mention the A/C in the restaurant wasnt working either. Also during dinner we have caught one of the servers was taking a picture of my wife while we were eating. It was quit obvious because we were the only customers eating in the restaurant and his phone was facing her. He quickly turned away and acted as if he was texting when we came into eye contact. She felt very uncomfortable and we left immediately with our 14 month son. Dont get me started on their restroom. It is very dirty! If I were you, Id never come here and I would look for a more upscale geeek/mediterranean restaurant that you can get your moneys worth, "i.e." Zafron or Rumis kitchen would be your best bet.

When you walk in, you get the presence of a cozy restaurant! Thats not bad at all considering its a family owned restaurant. The restrooms had cobwebs in them and the a/c wasnt working either. Moving to the food, if you wanted a good shish kabob of beef, you wont get it here. Their only options were shrimp, chicken, and pork. I chose to go with a steak gyro (listed as steak and lamb gyro) and asked them to remove lamb and sub for more beef. I was then told it was a mix of lamb and beef. So I went with chicken gyro. The food was close to tasteless. Under salted and tasted close to just cooking it without seasoning. When you visit a restaurant of a different culture, you expect to taste the flavors of their country. And to top it all off, after you finish eating, you have the tasteless confetti of Dry parsley flakes all over yourself and the table. The garnish was overdone. Ive eaten at plenty of other Greek based restaurants and this was the first to displease me. The staff was kind but if you feel its ok for someone to take a picture of you off to the side while you eat, not sure how to feel about that either.

My colleagues and I ended up here for dinner after exploring the Atlanta suburbs. A quick check of Google Maps showed decent reviews and a welcome change of pace from Mexican food and barbecue. This place was as good as it gets! Teresa, the owner and our hostess for the evening, was beyond friendly and went out of her way to accommodate the demanding dietary needs of our group. The food was out of this world - and we ate plenty of it! Tiropita, baba ganoush, pizza, tsatziki, dolmathes, Greek salad, moussaka, souvlaki, and more! We ate and drank to an eclectic soundtrack which included Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darren, Judy Garland, and Elvis. Also, this Pennsylvania ex-pat was able to get a Yuengling Lager in a frosted mug. This might not be ground breaking to the locals, but it is a big deal when you live in Texas and cant get it on a regular basis at home! I would certainly recommend The Clay Oven!

Where to begin? The place was dusty and there was a birthday party going on so the terrible music was very loud. Ok, if the food is good we can endure it. We ordered. After a long wait ( besides the birthday party, there were only 2 more families there) our food arrived. It looked horrible, grease and unappealing. I lost my appetite. Since the place was unwelcoming we decide to have our food to go, maybe at home we could try to eat it... Well, no. My chicken was undercooked and tasted like $h*t, everything went straith to the trash. Ill never come back again, I tossed $ 30.00 in the trash and ruined the rest of my day.

Teresa, the restaurants owner, was our server. She was very pleasant and described each of her recipes and background stories for some of her favorites. The meal was DELICIOUS and genuine. We order the trio appetizer option and got the meatballs, feta and kalamata, and triopeta. They were great, but the winner was the feta and kalamata which had her specialty Greek dressing. We ordered one of the pizzas and loved the richness of the herbs and authentic preparation. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very relaxed which made you feel like the people are here to just enjoy themselves. We will definitely be back.

Had the chicken souvlaki where the chicken was incredibly moist (very hard to do these days). Served with potatoes and a LARGE side salad, it was overall a very satisfying meal for about $10.00 plus tip (drank water). The only misstep for the food was that between the olives, feta and greek dressing on the salad it was a little too salty for my taste, but Ill just know better next time. And there will be a next time! For ambiance, the staff was very attentive, but the dining room was a little smokey due to the ovens.

Visiting from CA. Found this place on Google maps and yelp. We had the Greek salad with chicken...DELICIOUS! and also ordered the Pork souvlaki pita wrap...Delicious too. Their tzaziki sauce was also very good! Service is friendly and attentive. Very reasonable prices and generous with their portions. If you have room for dessert, have to try their dessert box sampler of cookies! Yummy ending to a great meal!

This place is great. We had spanakopita, baba ganoush and meat balls for appetizers. They were all excellent. For entrees, we tried the kleftiko which are meats cooked overnight in clay ovens. We had lamb and spare ribs and both were fantastic. They both were fork tender and the homemade barbecue sauce on the ribs was delicious. The prices are reasonable and the service is great. We will definitely be back!

The owners are wonderful and they prepare everything from scratch. I have never liked humus but theirs is delicious. They slow cook several meats all night. I have tried the pork, chicken, and lamb, and they are all terrific. I love their fried cheese. My wife and I have tried several other dishes and they are all wonderful. This restaurant is a well kept secret that everyone must try!

Best greek food in the universe. Pizzas are circular discs of 100% pure uncut Greek Wondersauce. The Baklava Cheesecake is the greatest thing I have ever had within 5 feet of my mouth. My only complaint is that they didnt have a cot in the back where I could wrap myself in Gyro meat and sing myself to sleep with Greek lullabies. Really though. Awesome food. Everyone should try it.

We absolutely loved our experience. The food was amazing. We ordered the Beef Kleft Iko...so tender, flavorful and probably the best beef Ive ever had. The owner was super sweet, attentive and stopped at our table to ask how everything was...we love her! Wed definitely eat here again. Were looking forward to trying the pizza next time.

Food is delicious and super fresh. Has a family atmosphere. Looks like it has a dance floor for wedding receptions or other events. I will say the service was extremely slow both times weve been. Perhaps they make everything *really* fresh? It made it difficult with my toddlers as they dont wait well. Highly recommend the hummus and gyro.
