I wish I could actually base my review on the food, but unfortunately, I never made it that far. Knowing Fathers Day is one of the busiest days of the year, I made a reservation for our family at 5:30 and requested a hibachi table for us. I was told by the woman that took my reservation that they didnt open until 5:30 that day, so getting a hibachi table shouldnt be an issue and put us down for one. Upon arriving, we noticed that the restaurant opened at 4:30, and the hibachi area was already busy when we walked in. After initially telling us they couldnt find our reservation, the hostess came back and said she found us and had a table for us, but we wouldnt see our chef for about an hour and a half. In other words, we had a reservation but would be sitting at our table until 7:00 until we were served. She went on to explain that they had walk ins that they had to seat and therefore, those people took priority over us. There was no offer to have a manager come speak with us or any offer to accommodate us in any other way. She also had a bit of an attitude when we told her we would be contacting management and leaving a review about this experience by responding, "please do." So here we are on Fathers Day with nowhere to eat. Every other restaurant we tried calling nearby was unable to accommodate us, so we walked to the little Mexican place next door, which turned out to be awesome. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for a long time, there were so many other ways this could have been handled. I would love for someone at Kirin House to explain their definition of a reservation to me because having a reservation at 5:30 and not being served until after 7:00 is completely unacceptable.

Went to this restaurant because my son was treating me. When I walked in I noticed they put me and my daughter in the aisle seat and my son on the corner seat. There were 3 seats together, so when I asked, can we just sit together the "manager" said no, just in case other guest came in. Kind of taken aback because we were there first. I sat anyway, when she kept asking me was I okay with her policy. When I shrug my shoulders she said, because if I was not I was free to leave. When I got up to leave I told her she was extremely rude, I have been going there for years. She said she was a manager and she had never seen me there!! Then proceeded to tell me good bye!! If these people do not appreciate their customers why go there? There are many other Hibachi restaurants in the area that would gladly appreciate your business. By the way, food is mediocre and expensive!! DONT EAT THERE!!!

The food is absolutely amazing and the people that work at Kirin House are the nicest people you will ever meet. My family and I have been going to Kirin House for a very long time and we eat there every Sunday, as well as usually one other day of the week. There prices are great for the portions you get. You wont leave Kirin House hungry, I promise. The hibatchi is a great show with delicious food and the sushi is very fresh and tasty. You cant find a single thing on Kirin Houses menu that isnt unbelievably good. I hope you visit Kirin House soon and I can promise you that you wont be dissappointed.

This place was great!!!! My wife and I just stopped in, because we were in the area, and wow it was AWESOME. We will make a 2 hour trip out here to eat again thats for sure and be sure to ask for Hannah. She will take GREAT care of you. Very prompt service and takes the time to let you know youre not just a customer to her.

i must say im a little bit disappointed with this place. i want there about 2 years ago for the first time and the food was great! I was there a few times since then and every time it got worse and worse. And the prices are ridiculous now. $30 for hibachi for one! It used to be around $15.

Considering the location (a strip mall and beside McDonalds), this restaurant is great. I have been to the Kani House at the mall of Georgia and about a dozen other Japanese Steak Houses in the US and this one rates at the top. The service is consistantly good and the food is exellent!

The food was delicious, the waiters were kind and patient, and the people who cooked your food were prepare, friendly, and funny. Overall I give this rating 5 stars for the food and the people who served you. I recommend trying to visit Kirin House but be aware, prices may be high!

Similar to other Hibachi places Ive been in terms of atmosphere and menu. The cook was uninspired and bored, and though the food was excellent, the show was mediocre. It was a 1:30 lunch though, so he was probably mentally done for the day.

Good hibachi and good sushi. Some of the hibachi chefs are much better than others, though, so hope you get a good one, otherwise its a bland experience.
