Been to this restaurant many times and usually good service. Last night somewhat busy and major failure with hostess and waiter but especially pompous, arrogant "owner." Told to wait 15-20 minutes for a table. Sat down, asked for drinks, several minutes go by, hostess inattentive. Got drinks. Waited at least the 20 minutes and made inquiries, told "our" table wrapping up but never does. More time goes by. We opt to sit on patio on unseasonably cool night. No waiter. Finally drink order, then food order. No silverware, no food. Ask waiter to turn on heaters, doesnt know how and doesnt get assistance. Table clears inside, we move. 90 minutes in the restaurant, no food. Three of four salads finally come, no bread. No silverware. Continually have to ask for silverware, drinks, bread, missing salad. Entrees come, well, three of four. My steak Diane served with no knife. My "butter" knife no longer there. The evening goes on like this. When check comes I ask for the manager look it over and adjust. Manager/owner asks to talk to me, I presume he wants to hear why Im dissatisfied. Instead he launches into me to tell me how unreasonable Ivep been the entire night, that I have a bad attitude, that I should pay the check and never come back. This is my neighborhood restaurant Ive been to a hundred times. He invites me to "hit" him. NIce, huh? This manager clueless when it comes to customer service and obviously doesnt train or supervise his new people. Prefers to lecture rather than listen. If you like crappy service and a limited menu, this place will meet your needs and maybe you too will be invited to hit the owner.

Restaurant was only 1/4 full but took us 1:45 min from time we sat down to the time food arrived. Ordered shrimp and grits. This is the south, its not that hard to get that right. For $21 I got a lump of grits, and three shrimp. Very disappointed. Wife got NY strip. Ordered medium rare, got well done. For $28 you better be able to get the steak temp correct. Waiter only payed attention to half the table. Its 2015 and sodas were served by the can, $2,00 a drink. Owner needs to spend less money on decor and more on a Fountain machine. Speaking of the owner they could be seen sitting at a table by the bar ratting and drinking While the guest waiting on overloaded servers. Was my first visit and will be my last, which is sad because I can see this place from my house. Would have been a regular, chance blown TBM

My fiancé and I were trying to see where we can go for our rehearsal dinner, their food was pretty GOOD! So we decided to go there for our actually dinner, note that this was sometime in July. I called a couple of times and their fall menu was not coming out until October 20th. I was working with Carla, it is now 2 weeks until my wedding, and I still have no direction on how their menu works, every time I call she is either on a phone call or out making a delivery? Really? The owner making a delivery, that is what employees are for! I had to cancel because of the lack of communication and THIS IS THE LAST THING I SHOULD STRESS ABOUT! Disappointed, I will be telling my venue about the experience I had as well and they should not recommend their brides there.

What a wonderful restaurant! They have a seasonal menu where they switch some dishes depending on the season. I have eaten the cheese board a couple of times and enjoyed it although when I tried the meat and cheese plate, the meats were not to my liking. I especially love their panzanella salad which is a summer menu item. They also have a good bar menu which has good items such as potato skins, spinach and artichoke dip, and cuban sandwiches in case you are not in the mood for a full meal. Their wine menu is superb but that is a given considering the extensive amount of wine they have in the shop next door. I would recommend going to Brunch on Sundays. The french toast is amazing and so are the huevos rancheros.

We visited the restaurant tonight and were disappointed. We were seated right away, drink order taken, and delivered. After that we had no further contact. There were servers on either side of us socializing with customers for an extended time, which is fine, but it was very obvious that our order hadnt been taken as we began making comments and trying to make eye contact with them. When both servers were done socializing they went to the back without acknowledging us and there were no servers around for a while. We ended up leaving before our order was taken and no one seemed to notice. Our other two experiences here were satisfactory, so I hope this was an isolated incident.

I keep wanting this restaurant to succeed but you really never know if it will. Sometimes it falls short. The price on the food is a little high. Sometimes the service is outstanding but sometimes it can be very slow. The food can go from outstanding to mediocre. As an example, Its great that bread is served but it can be almost stale. Perhaps some competition in this geographical area would help. We have visited other similar restaurants in the general area such as 1910 in Lilburn, Pea Ridge at 2607 Lawrenceville Hwy ,and M572 on main street in Tucker. All have some good and bad points. We will keep hoping and trying.

My wife and I go to TBM whenever were looking for something special, unquestionable service and great atmosphere. I routinely get the Steak Diane. Its cooked to perfection, and when I ask for medium, I get medium. The servers there are always knowledgeable about their offerings and ready to suggest something that you should try if the menu is leaving you wanting everything. Bar service is always busy, but thats because they make the best cocktails around and have a seriously high quality beer and wine list. Its great that we dont have to travel into Atlanta to enjoy one of our favorite spots.

Tried the restaurant for the first time and probably will not go back. The wait for the food was very long and the Steak Diane I received was well done instead of the requested medium rare. On the second attempt I requested rare, and they were successful. Although this type of steak had been described as tender, it was a tough piece of meat and for $28, I would expect much better quality. The fingerling potatoes and sauce were very tasty but for the money spent, I can find better food elsewhere. Too bad as more nice independent restaurants in Gwinnett County is a desirable thing.

This has become our favorite restaurant by far. We go every Friday and sometimes on Sundays. It is like having an Atlanta or Decatur restaurant here in Lilburn. The service is excellent, best drinks, wine, and beer around. Delicious food with generous portions no matter when you go. Not cheap but worth it! It is crowded especially on weekends, but we often sit at the bar. Great atmosphere, hope they can expand to accommodate the crowds. Absolutely love it!

I work at a local physicians office who ordered tbm for the entire office for lunch. BAD IDEA! One girl found hair in food which made all of our stomachs turn. The manager at tbm was notified but stated because their cooks had short hair, it couldnt have been them.... so I guess we decided to put our own hair in there. She said she didnt know how to give refunds. Well sucks for them, all 10+ of us will NEVER go back, and were less than a mile away.
