This is by far one of the best restaurants in the Knoxville area. Not just best pizza place...but one of the best restaurants, period. Its definitely the best pizza around. The fountain Coca Cola is the best of any restaurant that I have been to - they have the Coke/carbonation ratio just perfect. Even better than drinking Coca Cola out of the glass bottle. I know Im going on and on about the fountain coke, but the drink can make or break the meal. They have a good selection of beer too. I absolutely LOVE their garlic knots! If youre wanting to try something besides the pizza, their pasta dishes are so great! They really pile on the cheese and dont cheat you on anything! One order of pasta makes two or three meals for me and I have a pretty respectable appetite for a woman. I absolutely LOVE their ravioli! I am really picky when it comes to pasta and pizza, and this place has won me over. The decor is fun to look at and the waiters and waitresses are always personable and nice. They can be a bit slow at times though. Well, I shouldnt say "slow". A better description would be busy. Usually only one waiter or waitress for a room full of people. I think that they have been understaffed here recently. However, the last time that I went in the service was fabulous and fast. That said, it never takes longer than 15 minutes to get our food, which is not bad at all. My meal has always been served fast and HOT and the prices are great too!

I called for a take-out order on a Saturday night. Firstly, they do not have a way to hold calls or multiple lines so if they are busy you will reach a voicemail asking you to call back (not the best way to run a business in my opinion). My wife and I wanted to try something new so after 4 tries we connected with a person. The pizza tasted fine, but it was not what we ordered. I waited nearly 20 minutes after I was told the pizza would be ready. I was not alone in waiting and I believe my order was mixed up with another customers. After waiting that long and then getting home there was no way I was going back. This place is not great for take-out but it was full of dine-in patrons and their beer list was decent. Moral of the story: dine in at this restaurant. And if you do place an order for take-out, dont do it when they are busy and always check to make sure your order is correct.

I love pizza, and have tried this location on a couple of occassions. The pizza was just average. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. However the owner (?) is extremely rude to some customers. The last time we ate there he was yelling and screaming at two police officers who were trying to eat dinner. I sat next to them and he was way out of line. He kept yelling that he had been stopped by security somewhere and was somehow trying to hold these officers responsible for it. After that insane outburst my wife and I just left in disgust. There were even children present when he cursed! The time before that he was yelling at some elderly woman that was selling something. If he is not the owner then the owner needs to fire this maniac. Save yourself some money and eat at about any chain pizza place.

I work down the block and eat lunch there about once a month. All in all, Ive always had a good experience and a good pizza. I could probably eat pizza every day as long as it was from a different restaurant. Thats one of the things I like most about this place - its rather unique. I like Jets, I like Mellow Mushroom and I like this place - each is different and each "hits the spot" when Im craving that particular brand. For me Its much better than the generic national delivery brands and while its a tiny bit more expensive, its worth the price. Ratings can be subjective, but Id give em a 5 and more importantly Ill keep going back.

A little hole in the wall in a mostly unloved shopping center in South Knoxville, I Love NY Pizza is a great place to grab some lunch. They use some of the best quality and freshest ingredients Ive ever had on a pizza, which is obvious before you take the first bite. If you like pizza, and havent had anything but delivery for a while, you owe it to yourself to try some of I Love NYs finest. A (BIG) slice of pizza (one topping), salad, and drink will run you about $6, or two slices (one topping each) and a drink will run you about the same.

BEST PIZZA IN KNOXVILLE. Seriously, as a pizza connoisseur, I have been everywhere in Knoxville searching for the perfect pie. I found it right here in South Knoxville. Not only is the pizza the perfect combination of crust, sauce and gooey cheese, the rest of the menu is top notch as well. When I want to impress friends and family from out of town, I bring them here. The decor of the restaurant is funky and colorful. Its homey and comfortable. The staff is wonderful, and make you feel welcome and appreciated.

Excellent, excellent, excellent pizza!! I tried this place out for the first time and Im incredibly impressed! The pizza was cooked just right and had such great flavor to it! Also got the chocolate cake and it was delicious! You can definitely taste that they dont use cheap chocolate to make it. My boyfriend, who doesnt have a sweet tooth, ate half of it. He wouldve eaten all of it if I wouldnt have protested for him to share with me. We most definitely will be coming back for more pizza from here!

The pizza is wonderful and the wait staff is a delight. My only problem with them is that they use all disposable dinnerware. The silverware is plastic, the plates are paper, and the cups are Styrofoam. Ive been there twice, and the first time they had real dinnerware. The second time, they had this disposable stuff. Its just harder to use. And the Styrofoam cups make your drink taste weird. Im not a tree-hugger, but doesnt that stuff never bio-degrade. It seems irresponsible to me.

Were traveling thru Knoxville headed back to Chicago looking for some good pizza. Decided to give this place a shot. Have got to say they totally met our expectations. Their garlic knots were awesome, pizza was really good. They had some really great wings too. If youre going to have dessert you have to try their cheesecake and zeppoli!! Our server was pretty great, super friendly and very attractive. If ever back in Knoxville well for sure be eating here again.

Always have heard the pizza was good, so I wanted to try it. Unfortunately, I ran into the same service as I did when I traveled to New York. No one was around. Waited ten minutes, every employee was in the back. I left. Not even a bell upfront to ring for service. Im sad that was my first experience with the location as Ive heard how good the pizza is. Cant make up for bad service like that.

Well I love pizza and after reading the reviews I was excited to try it. (ordered to go and picked up). Waitress was nice. Got home and my garlic knots were burnt and had no flavor of garlic whatsoever. Crust was also nearly burnt. Very expensive too. Ive had better pizza at little caesars. Huge disappointment. I will stick with mellow mushroom. I guess I dont love NY pizza. Would not order again.
